    I’m just started using Rode mic for my GoPro 7 and I simply love them, the battery last long time especially when I’m doing a video of Fishing. They give you up to seven hours of battery life, versus DJI‘s wireless mic which gives you only five hours of recording time.

      yes a mic Mount that works well for my Go Pro . It’s a little tight for space when it comes to hit the record button. But it works good enough for me.

    I loved your video, but I have a extra question: How can I monitor the audio by headphones at the same time until the gopro and rode´s microphones are conected?
    Thanks for your help.

    Thank you for your video. What is the audio quality setting you used for the RODE wireless go on go pro? Do you use the "High" setting in RAW audio setting, or you stick with the standard one? Thank you

    Hey buddy, nice review. I am looking for a wireless mic, found your channel and what a coincidence, we are both fishermen. I am looking for a wireless mic for my GoPros and it seems that the Rode Wireless Go 2 is the one to go. I have two concerns, one has to be with the battery life and the other one is if it comes with a mic windscreen. I use to record my fishing adventures for up to ten hours on two GoPros connected to a Dakota Lithium Battery and a 256 SanDisk memory each. Is there any way to connect the mic receiver directly to the Dakota Lithium Battery and keep the receiver running longer than the 7 hours period? I understand that the kit includes two mics so if each mic last 7 hours that's OK since I can replace the mic but what about the receiver. Any suggestion? The other minor concern is the windscreen, does it come with one? Thanks.

    After the last go pro update, my audio will not work with my Rode Go II, it’s a high pitch winding noise when you play back the video. I thought it was a shorted media mod but the new one does the same thing. Was completely fine for months until the update. They force you to but that new adapter which also doesn’t work. GoPro sucks I’m going DJI action 2

    Hello! I’ve been using the same setup for my Hero 8 with the media mod and wireless go 2. But when I playback the audio, it’s also playing on the right side only, any idea how to rectify this?

    • @FishOnLuke
      @FishOnLuke  Рік тому +1

      do you have a mono lav mic? If using a lav mic, try recording directly from the device and see if that makes a difference. If it does, it's a mic issue. There should be a setting if you hook up to your pc as well I believe.

    • @NathanMannin

      @@FishOnLuke Thank you! I’ve just ordered the smart lav from Rode today so I’ll that tomorrow. So just plug the lav directly into the media mod and see if it plays the audio perfect is what you’re saying?
