Your way of talking is so smooth and relaxed compared to almost everything I've seen. Never ever change that. I could listen to you going through specs all day without getting annoyed. Great job!
Thanks!
I should start ASMR...lmao
@@DarkCornerStudios 😅😅😅 Yes and the funny thing is that my followers tell me that I should consider that 😅😅😅
What a fantastic review! Thank you for this video. Subscribed to show my gratitude, and hoping that further content strikes my interest!
Great review, thanks!
Thanks for making this video. The Wireless ME works great for my needs and the price point is great too. I would have loved the onboard recording on the GO II, but honestly the ME just fits my needs better all around.
I do hope RØDE Capture comes to Android, though. RØDE commented on one of their videos that Android has some kind of restriction that limits their ability to have Capture on Android. Hopefully they're working on that and not leaving Android users in the wind. I'd love to use that app.
I've got a half share in a Sennheiser lav so that'll do but good to see a review of Røde's kits. They're great.
I can also see a very legitimate broadcast use, especially for TV multimedia journalists and also on-air talent. The TX units are way smaller than the current standard gear and easier to wear (and conceal). You can get a stick (that's what it is) to turn them into interview mics. I think Rode could market these for broadcast applications. And I'm a stickler for good audio.
Agree!
I can't speak for the ME because I got the Go II on sale. Normally I have a stable (bigger than a locker) of microphones and recording gear but I occasionally have a need to do more with minimal gear. Enter the Rode Wireless Go II and a $50 Sony recorder. I also added a Rode Lavalier Go (also on sale) and a CAD lavalier. The test was a 90 minute audio interview with an 89 year old civil rights pioneer. The lavaliers were fed into the two TX units that transmitted to the RX that was connected into the Sony handheld. Perfectly acceptable audio. True, not as good as a studio setup but pretty damn good. Later I fed into a Tuscan digital recorder and also the Zoom P4. The stuff really works.
I spent like $11 for a three headed USB C charging cable that allows me to charge all of the Wireless Go II units.
The mini dead cats that come with the Wireless Go II are cute but tough to screw on. I imagine they'd be nice "rugs" for bald mice.
I lol'd at the bald mice
Does it come with Velcro/magnet to set up on the back of phone? I just ask because on their adds they have it set up this way.
I just heard that the Rode Wireless Pros are coming out with 32bit float & timecode!
Yeah...apparently I'm on the list so stay tuned!!
@@DarkCornerStudios I am stoked! I just joined the waitlist also.
A new one is out soon - I think
Oh do tell
Saw an advert from rode something coming soon !!!
@@chriss2939 ohhhhh
How about the Rode Wireless Pro?
I literally just heard about it too.
Review unit is coming appaently
@@DarkCornerStudios They have really great featues like 32 bit float, timecode etc. But I wish they improve the mic quality, because that's what will really make them stand apart from competitions like Hollyland Lark Max etc. Not sure if they did improve the mic quality though. Most people don't use a lav with the Wireless go either, they just use the built in mic. If they improve that, it's a great win from me.
@Slipsch I like the mic on the lav.
That said...nothing stopping you from getting a better lav mic either.
Can't wait to try it out personally
@@DarkCornerStudios I do own sanken cos-11d, DPA 4060, and Countryman B5, but that's for my proper system, for the wireless pro, i plan to get for like non pro work. Just use the device by itself. With the interview go stick and stuff, wish they actually improve the mic quality. But it was not mentioned.
@@Slipsch we shall see
I think this video is outdated now, given that the Wireless Pro just came our some days back.
Those wireless mics are the newest fad of every UA-camr. They look absolutely ridiculous hanging off peoples clothes. Reminds me of pagers from back in the 1990s. Since there is no benefit to audio quality vs a high quality lav mic there really is no reason to invest in such an expensive ‘toy’.
uh understand people use it for a lot of this other then youtube right lol
I have wireless go ii, and would say - go with DJI mic.
You might want to reconsider insulting your viewers by calling them "sheep".
Lol...nah...I'm good
no way you got offended lmaooo
@@DarkCornerStudios and I'm "unsubscribed".
Iphone fan girls mad
Lol @ everything here
you just had to go there with iOS... so much fail... im sure they will release a version for insecure android's
I mean it when I say Rode is becoming the Apple of audio gear...
I know they are...perhaps working on an android solution...but I wonder how many people are actually working on it.
given the rode caster is based on Android,.... I think they already have a solution, just in the wrong packaging @@DarkCornerStudios
