For this video, I used a yarn from my stash that has been around for so long, you can't it them anymore. But you can easily use any fine weight (#2) yarn for your hat!
I also mentioned my How to Crochet Circles guide a few times in this video. It's a good read! Here's the link → bit.ly/45FmcVA

I am 61 and learned to crochet when I was 8 years old. I never thought of using a spiral to make a hat. Great idea! I love it! Thanks for the inspiration.❤
Thank you. Out of all the projects I have done, I've never crocheted a hat! This looks lovely 😍 and lightweight 🎉
Oh how fun! Hats are one of my favorites to make :)
@@bhookedcrochet I knitted what seems like hundreds. I'm just looking for a nice yarn 🤗
Love this hat! I have two granddaughters, 4 and 5 yrs old. Would love to make the hat for them. Thank you for all your patterns and videos.
Great job. I love wearing hats in all seasons so will definitely be putting this one on my list. Thank you for sharing and giving us great instructions.
Beautiful! Great timing as I can hear all the geese flying overhead so hat weather is definitely soon to be here. I'm going to make this today.
Love this hat. I'm going to go through my yarn stash and find some two ply yarn and make it.
What a cool hat. I wear hats at work and I'm always looking for fun ones. This one fits the vibe 👌
Super cute hat! Think I’ll make one for my daughter. Thank you! 🦋
Fun pattern for sure. Great teaching like always! Continued blessings!
Thank you, Bonnie! 💙

That made an awesome camo pattern. I need one of those for hunting.
It really did! I wish this yarn was still available!
Thank you for this tutorial and pattern. Just lovely 💟
❤ this tutorial I’m still working on mine and loving it 😊 THANKS AGAIN 🙏
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Love this hat AND that it’s a way to use some of my nice 2 weight yarn! Thanks for the great tutorial and written pattern.
Glad you like it!
That’s a beautiful hat ❤❤❤
Love this pattern it’s beautiful ❤❤ Thank you so much 😊
Love this pattern.. oh and also your voice ❤️
Thank you for sharing. 😊
Craft is awesome ❤ i loved it
Really cute hat!
absolutely lovely pattern!❤ I'm making one for a dear friend going through chemo. It looks in the pics to be loose around the brim, should I have my 4th round gauge be a little less than 4 1/2"? I really want this to fit snugg and comfy😊
Thank you so much for doing this! Do you have a pattern for toddlers?
Love!!😍 Thank you!
Besuty hat. I used to be able to read a pattern really well, but now I prefer videos. I’m getting old and lazy. Lol. 😂
Very pretty hat Brittany. It has such lovely drape! I won a large yarn giveaway and I have a couple of hanks of sport weight but also a lot of fingering weight. Do you think this could be made in fingering weight? I ask because you mentioned Patons Lace, and lace weight is even thinner. But that could just be the name of the yarn. And if so, what hook size would you recommend. I live in the northeast and tend to use worsted or bulky weight more because it gets so cold. Thanks for another great pattern and tutorial!🧡
I'm only watching this to see how easy it would be to send to my beginner crochet friend. Just a suggestion, if you're teaching someone to do this on a UA-cam video, a light solid color, such as tan, would be better for beginners to be able to see. Otherwise, this video is very helpful, and I love your videos. I may try to make this for myself.
I love this little hat and plan to make one. I have a question about the yarn ….. when you say #2 do you mean a sport weight yarn? Thanks for a lovely pattern. 😍
Yes! Sport weight, fine weight or #2 are some of the ways you might see it on a yarn label. Just depends on what brand and where it's made.
Awesome 👍🏾
I really enjoy your channel and I love this hat. What head circumference in inches does this pattern fit? To me, that’s as important as the gauge. Thanks!
The answer is in the description box
This hat has some stretch to it so it'll fit 18"-22" circumference. You can always find this info in the pattern as well :)
@@bhookedcrochet thanks! I need it to fit a 23” head so if my measurement that should be 4 1/2” is 5 1/2” I inches I think it would work.
How many rows of half double crochet stitch in the back bars?
Could you do a doll sized of this hat? I need for a Blythe doll
Where is Row 20?
End of R6 should have a 62st count, not 72. Or Else I’ve lost my grip on remedial math.
Not for beginners.
I am so going to make a bunch of these with 2 weight yarns I have no idea what to use it for. Can this hat be colour controlled? 💜🧶🧶🧶
