He did what all these car salesmen seem to do, he revved it while the cold start routine was still going and it was clearly not even in sport exhaust.
I owned a 2020 M2. It sounded better than it seems on these videos. I actually got compliments on the exhaust quite a bit.

I had the 2020 M2 but traded it in on the new RS3 earlier this year. I'd go with another M2, but they've gotta improve the stereo. Those HK speakers are junk for a car that expensive. The B&O in the Audi is infinitely better and believe it or not, you get sick of listening to the exhaust once in a while.
