- Powered by the same 3.0 twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine as the BMW M3 and M4, the new BMW M2, also offered with a manual transmission, raises the bar on performance and driving experience. The new BMW M2 boasts a striking and aggressive design, characterized by its bold front fascia with large air intakes, signature kidney grille, and distinctive M series badges. The athletic proportions and aerodynamic lines give it a commanding presence on the road, also emphasized by the large alloy wheels in differentiated sizes (19 inches at front, 20 inches at the back) that can be combined with racing tires upon request. Every single change on the body is the result of extensive studies to improve air intake and flow exactly where is needed, to help cool the mechanical parts under thermal stress, as well as to improve aerodynamic efficiency.
The new BMW M2 provides outstanding performance, with a 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds for the version with the eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and just two-tenths of a second more with the six-speed manual transmission. Inside, the M2 offers a driver-focused cabin that is designed for performance. The interior is finished with high-quality materials, including leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and soft-touch plastics. The front sport seats are heated and power-adjustable, and provide excellent support during sporty driving.

Gonna be looking back at it and see how wrong you were. Even when the F87 launched people hated it. Same thing went for the A90 Supra and M4. People hated it at first, but then loved it.
@@kreapys8096 Nope, everybody loved the F87. There is not a single review of the F87 online that has really negative things to say about it. Every second review of the G87 is, gee, great car but it looks like crap.
@@Krasshirsch Again that was when the car first came out. People’s opinions on Bimmer and reddit forums are changing. It’s not ugly, it just caters to different taste. Also there’s only a few reviews of the car where I’ve seen people openly say that the rear is crap. A-lot of them just say it’s controversial.
@@Krasshirsch When I first heard about the car I will admit I didn’t like the rear. But after seeing it irl, I have to say it looked pretty nice. A Squared, boxy, almost retro-looking rear.
