Good work guys, I hope the developers know they are doing good work, and we appreciate it. This game came out with promise, but that's about it. Now, well now this game has caused arguments with my partner and I because of how much I want to play when I get back from work, keep it up.
@@dimitriostsiampalis364 What do you see as something that Vic 2 did better? I had a lot of things I enjoyed more in Vic 1 than 2, but I warmed to Vic 3 a long time ago, and it's only getting better. One thing I would like to see is better opportunities to affect the ideas of your pops (and leaders) without cheesing so dang much :) One big issue I have now is convoy raiding; it's kind of ridiculous to run a 22k "lingering convoy damage" when you have 2k convoys total. Worse, until you eliminate almost all of that, any state not land-connected to your market capital is completely cut off from all other states, even neighbouring ones. And there doesn't seem to be a way to accelerate that recovery either. But of course, have a revolution or something and poof, it's magically gone. I suppose it's supposed to represent a sort of obligation... or convoys actually representing a _production_ of new convoys (i.e. you have 30 years worth of convoy production destroyed in the war). But it's silly how little control you have over any of that - if you can't protect your convoys, you're out of luck for the next 10-20 years; tripling your ports does nothing to alleviate that, even though they of course contribute to your economy immediately if you _don't_ have lingering convoy damage. You can't restrict convoy usage in war (or even just trade), and there doesn't seem to be any way to reduce that destruction other than by using your navy... which will just be smashed aside by the established naval powers, and a few weeks of war will tank your economy (and people's livelihood) for a decade or two.
Cool to see the game improving. We need the hability to make constructions in subjects, it would value more the subjects instead of just annexing up them
Looks great! I greatly appreciate the new UI, the look easy to digest but also contain a lot of info, which is good! The new pop system sounds good too for performance! I'm also quite pleased with the new diplomatic play UI, it'll be great to get more detailed info on who and why will be joining plays. Keep up the great work!

Sounds like a lot of reasonable and nice changes, however I'll be fully convinced if you took proper care of MP. Since the AI doesn't manage to really develop proper economies over time it is necessary to play MP for an interesting endgame. However, our weekly MP round suffers from instability and terrible server performances - it takes us min 15 minutes for 9 players to load the savegame that is maybe 100MB max. Desyncs happen too often and force the hotjoin of the dropping player - another 5 minutes. It seems to be working way better for other games like HoI, please try to reach these standards for V3 too. Thanks a lot
Great work, except for removing prestige stacking via playwrights that wasn't game breaking at all and it was a nice way to increase your prestige if you are a small nation without a lot of expansion opportunities
prestige effects whether you're a minor nation or a major nation. I think it's fair for smaller nations to not be considered a major nation unless you're having a huge gdp
You should add provincials governments for federations. Interest of corporation. Multinational companies like Standard oil as playable entities. Criminal organisation who can commit assassinations like in Sarajevo. The game would be perfect!
Definitely, this is my favorite game. I would love for them to add new industries and resources, such as in the Cold War mod, where some resources could be gas, which has been exploited since 1821, or copper and uranium. I feel like the potential this game can offer is too much. :D
I hope that with this new patch, you'll be able to take it easy (definitely, more easily than the 1.5 release was) and be able to do stuff again like the jam you did a long time ago.
I think you need a rework for interest groups and political systems to add even if sound pretty unhistorical one of those political systems like Corporatocracy and share stock voting as goverment laws, also introduce syndicalism and workers unions and reconceptualize companies and private business as owners of an industry with stock market value you can invest and capitalist can invest and manage such company. But that would be in a DLC probably i wish to see rockefeller as a CEO of is own company and interact with him USA goverment thought, tax him regulate him or legislate him or simply subsidize him and his industries and ser what factories he own ect...!
Meh, I don't think it was enacted anywhere, maybe in greek city states but it's quite a stretch and I don't know a single theorist that advocated for this. Atleast technocracy was advocated by someone even if I wouldn't have put it in the game especially when we already have oligarchy and one party states. I would prefer something with no notable influence in the world but a theoretical backing, such as georgist land tax and better religious laws since there are tons of variations (french and kemalist laicité, concordats like in Italy, orthodox symphony). Also there's still no prohibition in the game which is a major flaw considering the importance of it in the united states in this period (and islamic law)

can anyone explain to me how migration works now ? I seem to be having an issue where my pop would rather stay in a province and be unemployed, instead of switching provinces and work

That nerf to renowned playwright is really unnessesary. It was a nice way to get started with small nations and irrelevant later into the game.

Construction bug fix. When?
The bug is possibly fixed indirectly due to all the other fixes in the game. Generalist gaming mentioned that pdx couldn't replicate the bug in 1.6
