Almost bought one of these today at bass pro. I ended up getting the new Lew’s Pro Ti instead. I may have to pick one of these up as well next time i go out! I prefer the winn grips but I’ve been opening up to these combat grips lately.

Great video review, I love Lew's I got the same reel on order I own the Mach 2 baitcaster and the MS 400 spinning combo and plan on replacing ally rods and reels with Lew's , they are the best
Nice review, thanks. Like Lews a lot, the only reels I fish with. Looking at the tournament pro this year, they replaced the Mb with the Mp and prefer the Mb.
Hey! If you can remember, let us know how of this reel casting abilities. I fish in Georgia which has large deep lakes. This is a bit different than fishing in River tributaries for distances is somewhat more important with a deep diver than casting accuracy.(there's no way we can miss the water) ..I think I like the ideal of using this reel as a deep diving asset but I need it to have the ability to cast a 6XD-10XD at least 55-yards on 12 pound test. Thanks!.
Gregory Jones Love the last name lol! I fished a 1/2oz jig last Saturday with Awesome casting range! Also tried it with 1/4 oz swim bait. Absolutely amazing! Was setup for each lure in two cast! The cast range is phenomenal! Buy it, you will be pleased! I have a purchase link in my description that will give me a small cut to help the Channel, Thanks!

How is it holding up? I plan on pairing this up with a megabass faust(Jdm rod). I'll be spoiling it in braid and use it for top water frog/pitching.
So, I just purchased this reel, and I know that getting a new brand of reel is a learning curve, but it seems for me that in order for me to not get a back lash in casting a fluke jr paddle tail is to tighten the adjustment knob so that the line does not actually drop when you engage the bail? TO me that doesnt seem right, any advice?
