Everything would change, and there's evidence to prove it as Darth Vader himself goes over this very scenario in the book Rise of Darth Vader. Palpatine Vs. Mace Windu would take a giant spin. I think the biggest mistake was telling him he was the chosen one to begin with . They should have just told him he had great potential and trained him to be a well rounded Jedi pushing all aspects of his potential to their peak instead of letting his “status” boost his ego and then told him he was the chosen one once he was actually ready to receive the knowledge . Maybe after he actually had become a master
Also keeping him with the younger padawans after he had completed the lessons, they shoulda let him advance at his own rate.
If they honestly believed he was the chosen one they should’ve let him discover it himself through the force. Just goes to show what little faith the jedi order actually had in the force at this point and how willing they were to assume it was working for them and not the other way around.

If he hadn’t put aside the Code to kill the unarmed Palpatine, Anakin would never have sliced his hand off and would not have fallen to the Dark Side, Order 66 wouldn’t happen, Empire doesn’t rise, Anakin would leave the Order honourably etc etc
Lancaster1517 Well, Mace never wanted Anakin to be trained as a Jedi, and he ordered him not to come along for what he himself told Palpatine was an arrest. It was only after Palpatine showed his true power in killing the other three Jedi, and Anakin showed up in the middle of the situation, that Mace decided Palpatine had to be destroyed without a trial. Yoda came to the exact same conclusion, and tried to destroy Palpatine himself. It was Anakin's own selfish decision to side with Palpatine that led to his fall to the Dark Side, not Mace Windu
Don't pin that on Anakin. Windu used the same logic as Palpatine did, "He's too dangerous to be kept alive.", proving to Anakin that the Jedi were hypocrites that were willing to break their own rules without care, when he lived in constant fear that his rule-breaking would be discovered. Hell, if Windu had just done his damned job and arrested Palpatine without trying to break the Code and kill an unarmed and defeated prisoner, then Anakin wouldn't have been put into the position of choosing the Jedi or Padme in a split second. If Anakin gets a chance to think it over, he doesn't aid in Windu's murder, he doesn't convince himself that he needs to completely destroy the Jedi for Padme to live and Order 66 never goes through.

That Brings Balance To The Force
So When The Jedi Took Over He Joined The Empire To Bring Balance But, His Greed For Power Overtook Him And Then He Decided To Take Over But Then His Son Freed Him From The Greed He Had, And Later Brings Balance To Both The Jedi And The Empire When He Threw Palpatine In The Core.

Although you’re one of the first to believe so, it’s actually quite plausible.
well that is generally how a Jedi could become a master either through normal procedures or something impressive like routing out a sith lord(though it should have been obvious with his fascination with Palageius)

In Episodes 1, 2 and 3. Anakin was always eager to further himself. Anakin wanted to begin his jedi training as soon as possible in episode 1. After 10 years of training Anakin wanted to be granted a Jedi Knight in Episode 2 and wanted to be granted a Jedi Master in Episode 3. Anakin's impatince and nightmares of Padme's death caused him to panic, turn to Darth Vader and destroy his family of Jedi.

Havok1988 the jedi weren't really his family. They treated him like shit. I'm glad that he got his revenge in episode 3.
I feel like during one of his sessions with Anakin, Qui-Gon would remind him of the small piece of advice he gave before the podrace in Mos Espa all those years ago: "Concentrate on the moment. Feel, don't think. Use your instincts." And Anakin could realize that he could take those words of advice and apply them to everything around him--It was his confusion with his visions of _possible_ futures, and thus overthinking on those visions that made him turn to the Dark Side in the first place, that made him consider sinning with the best intentions.

This is definitely a plausible theory based on this change in events and I wish that we could have seen it in the movies but oh well.

1. What if Jango Fett killed Mace Windu on Geonosis?

3. What if Anakin and Obi-Wan's duel took place on a different planet?

He wasn't really bullied. The Chancellor specifically requested an individual to be on the council which had never been done before. They only didn't flat out deny the request because they wanted to counter spy on Palpatine using Anakin. If anything, Anakin's reaction, mental state, and impatience should tell you all that you need to know about why he wasn't truly a master

Not really. If he would have been granted to the rank of master he would have still used the sith holocrons, which would have polluted him turning him to the darkside either way. He was too impressionable and relied too much on emotion.

Anakin was doomed to dark side even if he gain the rank of Master. He had a lot of passion. With passion comes strong emotions. Anakin had so much power that it was almost unlimited. Also with his terrible past as a slave and losing his mother. Remember, Anakin was conceived through the force. The Dark Side perhaps, since it was Plagueis who made that happen. So Anakin was created by the dark side. Like I said, he was doomed from the start.
The darkside over indulges , when it comes to their emotions. the jedi don't indulge at all. both are extremes are harmful. Anakin would become more grey jedi, had he been granted the rank of master.

You'd be amazed of what you can do with both video and audio clips these days. In "The Force Awakens", there was a moment in Rey's Force Vision where she hears Obi-Wan Kenobi call out her name and saying "these are your first steps". The "calling out her name" part came from an edit of Alec Guinness's use of the word "afraid" in A New Hope. Alec Guinness had the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the classic trilogy.

This "What if?" scenario is quite interesting indeed. I remember reading in the "Revenge of the Sith" novel about Anakin needing access to the restricted section of the archives out of need to uncover the secret to the power that Darth Plagueis supposedly had before his death. Being granted the rank of Master definitely would have helped prevent Anakin's turn to the Dark Side. Being promised to be taught how to commune with Qui-Gon Jinn through The Force also would go quite a ways to overcoming his own fears. Being the one who originally found him, Anakin would have no trouble at all opening up to Qui-Gon about his inner turmoil. First step is always the hardest. Becoming aware that Palpatine had been behind the invasion of Naboo, the training of Darth Maul, and the death of Qui-Gon Jinn would give Anakin incentive to allow the final blow to be dealt to the Sith Lord, thus allowing justice to be done for every single life that was lost due to Palpatine's conspiracy. Wasn't just the lives of Jedi that were lost. Many lives on Naboo were lost, since the conspiracy started there when the Trade Federation agreed to both the blockade and the subsequent invasion. Many guards from Naboo's capital city, Theed, as well as many Gungan warriors died during the battle that took place. By means of Count Dooku, Palpatine was able to orchestrate the Separatist movement and the Clone Wars. Since he had been behind said events, the probability of Palpatine inducing the nightmares Anakin had about Padme through the Dark Side of The Force would have been high and furthermore child's play for the Sith Lord. As stated in the classic trilogy, any children Anakin Skywalker has would pose a great threat due to being strong in The Force. While under normal circumstances his and Padme's marriage and subsequent birth of Luke and Leia would have gotten Anakin expelled from the Jedi order, his actions in exposing Palpatine as Darth Sidious and reporting it to the Jedi Council would allow the blow to be softened since that same disobedience is what led to the exposure of the last Sith Lord that had been in existence at the time of Revenge of the Sith.

another reason he wanted to attain the rank of Jedi Master, you must realize that for nearly his entire life Anakin was treated as nothing more than a slave. He has been used for his abilities and reduced to a state of servitude on multiple occasions shortly before he was freed by Qui-gon; the only person who in his life had valued Anakin as a person. After Qui-gons' death Anakin was ceremoniously taken in as an apprentice to Qui-gons' recently ascended former student Obi-wan Kenobi, at the insistence of the Jedi Council per Qui-gons' last wish to have Anakin be trained in the ways of the Force. This in of itself is an ambitious goal worthy of anyone to undertake, however to succeed in reaching the end goal requires one to follow the vastly restrictive tenants required by the Order; tenants that either restricted or forbade Anakins development in many ways.
Put simply to a Slave, one could consider the Jedi Order to be just a gilded cage; another prison where if you fail here, you would be nothing.
Anakin sought out his little mercies of freedom by seeking to make a family of his own despite the fact that the council openly forbade romantic attachments and possibly familial attachments (just look at Lorn Pavan, formerly a clerk working for the Jedi Temple who eventually fostered a son, Jax Pavan; who was discovered to be Force Sensitive. After agreeing to have Jax be trained by the Jedi, Lorn was systematically FIRED by the Order because of the philosophy of forbidding Younglings from contacting their families, Lorn Pavan would hate the Jedi because of this). Anakin knowing that the only possible way he could achieve his goals of becoming truly free would be to become a Jedi Master on the Council from all of his constant achievements and strides he made for the sake of the Order. He already proven himself many times before the Clone Wars erupted, when the war began; General Anakin Skywalker systematically became the epitome "Poster Boy" for the Jedi Order and being highly beloved by the Republic he fights so hard to defend against all threats. He is the most powerful Force Sensitive in the current age, and as such believes that because of this Anakin would find himself becoming a Jedi Master much easier and possibly be granted a seat on the Council where he would have the power to reshape tenants of the Jedi Order for the better not just for himself but for others that are like him. ("Had you said the word, I would have left the Jedi Order." -Obi-Wan to Satine after her proclamation of love for the former)
Anakin was granted the position on the Jedi Council, but was denied the rank of Jedi Master because he was impulsive and considered to be not yet ready for the responsibility despite the fact that he knew the burdens of command and respect, having led the 501st into hell and back during his tenure in the Clone Wars, and for having a padawan of his own that he had trained and raised; almost to the rank of Jedi Knight. Despite all of this, and the premonitions of his wifes' death looming on the horizon of the future, Anakin was underneath large amounts of stress on his mind that by being allowed on the Council but denied the Rank of Jedi Master made him feel as though he was nothing more than a tool, or more appropriately: a slave.

This is spot on. The fact that Anakin was born into slavery isn't discussed often enough when his character is being discussed. Throughout his life Anakin is never free. We see in Return of The Jedi that he still maintains the mindset of a slave: 'I must obey my master'.

The inhibitor chips that all the clones had implanted would have been removed for the safety of the Jedi. At that point, there was no risk of Anakin turning to the Dark Side so he'd have no objection to the removal of the chips. Rex mentioned in Rebels that he and two others removed their chips.

Palpatine controlled the courts, so the trial would have to be through the Jedi council, which in turn would only feed into Palpatine's "the Jedi are actually self serving scumbags" propaganda narrative. Remember, public opinion of the Jedi was at an all-time low during the Clone Wars.

Except that's not _entirely_ the case. Sure, the Jedi were good intentioned, but in their many peacekeeping missions they often failed to solve the underlying problems causing unrest in the first place.
And then there was the whole thing with their general hostility towards other force sensitive orders - not just the Sith, but basically EVERYONE who was a force sensitive but not a Jedi was seen as a threat whether they were trained or not.
And of course, the Jedi were extremely clandestine. If you want a real-world comparison, the Freemasons would be a good example. They have greatly helped many people in need, but the general public regards them with distrust at best.
And of course, on the flip side of the coin Palpatine was actively running misinformation campaigns against the Jedi.

Sidious was going to rule the galaxy with or without Anakin. He thought of and started his plans long before Anakin came along or was even aware of his existence. It might have taken longer or shorter, Maul still with him or someone else but the results would be the same: The Empire would form, Sidious would be Emperor, Jedi destroyed, Death Star would be built, more planets than just Alderaan would be destroyed .

Assuming their ages are the same as the normal version, and Obi-Wan ends up in the Vader suit? Anakin would probably defeat Darth Obi Wan in their first encounter honestly. He was still in his thirties at the time of A New Hope, so he would still be in pretty good physical condition, plus have access to all his force abilities and have reached his full potential which he couldn’t do as Vader. Meanwhile Darth Obi is older and more limited physically and force-wise. The only thing that might save him is Anakin hesitating to kill his old master.
Obi Wan wouldnt be as big a threat as Anakin would be, considering the extreme skill gap a fully realized Chosen One would have. Obi Wan would also be way weaker as a Sith considering what kind of person he is

Earlier Jedi had families and some only ever began their path as adults. The council are full of shit.
+Elyseon The reason the Council forbade family was in an attempt to minimize attachment. This was put in place because one of the most difficult things a Jedi had to learn was to accept loss, and some kinds of attachments are just too strong to make that possible. Anakin was exceptionally bad at Letting Go of People and in the end this is why he turned, because he feared losing Padme. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering...

They forbade attachments because attachments would diminish the hold of the council's dogma on Jedi minds. You take children from their parents at a young age, fill their heads with your version of reality for decades, and suddenly they find someone to care for on a personal level and start thinking for themselves. One of the greatest Jedi of the Old Republic era, Nomi Sunrider, only even took up training after her Jedi husband was murdered, and she wouldn't touch the dark side with a ten foot pole despite all the crap she went through. Like her, there were probably countless others. Did you ever notice how as soon as someone starts openly disagreeing with the Jedi council, they're quickly branded as "falling to the dark side"? If you need another example, just look at all the Jedi who ran off with Revan to defend the Republic while the order was content to meditate and twiddle their thumbs. The so-called defenders of the Republic, sitting around doing nothing and forbidding their students from doing anything because of some crap about not meeting aggression with aggression... while millions died.
The problem with Anakin was a compound issue. First the need to keep secrets, given the order's policy. Then the growing distance between him and the council for various reasons, chief of which, the way they ignored his emotional issues and just spouted platitudes at him when he needed help and advice. Then his anger and ego problems, coupled with his growing fear after what happened to his mother (whom the Jedi could very well have taken off that sand pit but didn't bother helping because all they cared about was the Force sensitive kid), and the creepy old guy telling him what he wanted to hear. No matter how badly Lucas tried to make the Jedi seem like the good guys, they still did a lot of stupid or outright dubious crap.

Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Stoners, so high and so lit, he could use the Force to influence the marijuana to create...blunts. He had such a knowledge of the Lit Side, he could even keep the ones he cared about...from being caught by the police. He became so high, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his blunt...which, eventually of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his friend everything he knew. Then his friend called the police while he was sleeping. Ironic. He could save others from the police...but not himself.
