I think I read a fanfiction about that one time. Anakin and Padme, after the death of Sidious, reveal their marriage to the Council, but are eventually forgiven, Anakin becomes the Grand Master, and everybody's happy. It was a good read.
"As the Senate summoned his lightsaber from the floor" This line right here, read with a completely straight face, in a serious fight scene, is the funniest thing I've heard all day.
What If... Anakin hadn't killed Dooku, and stood trial instead? Grievous hadn't escaped in a pod from The Invisible Hand? Anakin had been sent to Utapau instead of Obi-Wan? Anakin had remained at the Jedi Temple while Mace Windu and company arrested Palpatine? ...and so many others.
What if… Anakin had been denied training, returned to Tatoine and became a bounty hunter? Darth Plagus sensed his demise and killed Palpatine, taking Dooku as his apprentice? WINDU fell to the dark side and killed yoda?
To me, the most interesting part about this fan-fict is the effect that timing has on the overall story. Anakin having a darker sith-like reaction sooner ultimately led him to remaining a Jedi in the long run.
The reason that is was he was able to open up to the council and get all his emotions that were going to stay bottled up out allowing a clear mind and made him see who palpatine really was
So true! Just goes to show how dangerous bottled up emotions can be. If Anakin had more therapy sessions with Yoda/obi-wan where they didn’t dismiss his emotions, he would’ve felt like he could be honest, like the Jedi Council was a safe space. If they really embraced their ideology of caring for others, they should’ve included him in that. ❤️ love the fanfic!!
So basically if Anakin DIDN’T take a seat, everyone, (almost everyone) would’ve survived and order 66 NEVER would’ve happened?! Ngl, I did NOT see that one coming and that’s dope as hell
It did happen but it was different because instead of the Chancellor having most of the Jedi in places that they could easily die they were called in more of as backup

Okay this is proof you don’t judge a video by its title. Your stories are always great but I thought this was gonna be a joke story but no it was so much more. This was terrific.
This fan fic illustrates perfectly how flawed the Jedi order’s ways were. Especially how suppressing emotions was harmful to oneself. Even if it allowed Jedi to resist the dark side.
What? Did we watch the same video? It perfectly illustrates how right and good the Jedi's ways were. How Anakin's foolishness cost him his position, yet he could still live a happy life, with Padme perhaps saved by Yoda, all because the Jedi are forgiving and possess solid morals and compassion. The Jedi's ways follow the force, that is spoken in this video. Suppression of emotions is the same as controlling emotions, it's a good thing. Emotions are there to inform you, not control you. How you could take away something so outlandish from this video, is only explainable by a priori bias against the Jedi :(
@@valthiriansunstrider2540 Yes, that’s true, but Mace himself even blended qualities of dark side knowledge with light side, while choosing to follow the Jedi way. I like the way he thinks. If anything follow the Gray Jedi creed.
Instead of learning how to suppress them and not allow them to effect you, they should learn how to use them to their advantage regulate ones emotions to benefit them in battle without losing control of them.
@@valthiriansunstrider2540 the Jedi were always taught to trust in the force. Also, the Jedi were taught to suppress their emotions. Suppressing isn’t the same thing as controlling your emotions. Suppression can lead to an explosion of emotions. Just because you can suppress how you feel, doesn’t mean that you can control it. Several instances in life shows where you can suppress your emotions only to a certain point until you break. Controlling your emotions is hearing how you feel. If something makes you mad, you fix it. If something makes you sad, you fix it. If it’s outlandish, why did it make you feel that way? Instead, the Jedi are taught to suppress those emotions and bury them away as they are not needed. Mace Windu goes against what the Jedi want and yet still enforces it to the end. He’s the biggest hypocrite out of all the Jedi. If anything, Jolee Bindo is the perfect example of what the force wants. They want you to live your life and it’s okay to feel emotions such as anger. Learn to control it through good methods like Mace does. It seems you have a very biased opinion of the Jedi that is they can do no wrong and were always in the right. They even started to fear the visions of the future the force gave because it could lead to negative emotions like fear and anger so they started to not even listen to the force itself all because of negative emotions. Luke Skywalker instilled much better Jedi values in Legends than any Jedi has ever done. They were allowed to feel and love because having feelings is okay and what makes them a person. Anakin wasn’t foolish in the slightest. The Jedi tried to suppress how he felt and kept him under lock and key because he had all of these emotions. If the Jedi allowed them to feel like a person should, he could have simply went to the Jedi about his problems and they could have helped him. Anakin wouldn’t have fallen to the darkside and Padme would still be alive. Padme and Anakin would still be raising Luke and Leia to be the best Jedi they could be as well. People would fall to the darkside yes, but as shown in the shows even a master can still fall while trying to suppress their emotions

@@willreading4958 well, hang on now. I feel like they've done a great job with both Mandalorian and Book Of Boba Fett. If you mean the sequel trilogy, then I kinda see your point ...it was... messy
This, this is the way I wanted this "What If..." to end. Anakin and his family deserve a happy ending for once. The story of the Skywalkers has always been fraught with hardship, sadness, and darkness. It feels good to have Anakin get all the good things for once.
yea, they are all great, but anakin is such a rare one, and its quite hard, very odd cadence. he really nails it. cant think of anyone else who does one, even the clone wars series VO did something way different... now i want theory to dub over a clonewars episode lol
OH MY GOD!! You actually included my segment??? I can't believe it dude! I was just writing it because it's how I felt after watching part 1 at the time, but I never thought you'd include it, especially not in such a large capacity! THANK YOU! You're so sweet! :")
@@11bluekitkats Where SWT was talking about how Anakin was just sitting there in Palpatine's office, watching as the Jedi are taking on the sith Lord in what appears to be a fiery blur of colors. My segment also dove into Anakin's conflict: he now knows that Chancellor Palpatine is evil, but does he truly have the knowledge of saving Padme? But what about those in the order? He is most certainly not friends with most of them (except for Kenobi of course), but turning on them for the mere chance of getting knowledge on how to save Padme wouldn't be good either... What to do?
If your brain hasn't died fixing the damage a lightsaber did with space magic would probably save em. Those other dudes were probably past their due date lol
Also, as much as I like the idea they just let Anakin walk off into the sunset and live his life with Padme, I feel they'd be more cautious and if not a sure ally consider him a 'loose end' that could go Sith any moment. I imagine they'd go with a similar treatment to Revan (KotOR) and cut him off from the force. Admittedly though, outside of KotOR I haven't really heard of anything like that, and not being aware if cross media lore would be considered canon, that may or may not even be an option.
I don’t think Anakin would be kicked out of the order. I think they’d see that they need to change their ways and that Anakin would leave on his own terms. But still great job man I loved it
@@cuddlecakes7153 can you imagine if Anakin traveled to one of Yavin's Sith Temples? Exar Kun all over and again and Palpatine would have been shitting himself
I would imagine the Jedi order would expel Anakin from the order. The Jedi are fickle; especially Mace Windu. They would argue that they couldn’t trust Anakin. However, they have given reason for Anakin to not trust them as well. I imagine Anakin would be given a choice, to forgo his attachments or to leave the Jedi Order. It would take a while for the Jedi Order to change. Anakin and Obi-Wan would remain brothers and friends. I could see the Order recruiting Anakin for special assignment like they did for Ahsoka Tano when she went to Mandalore to arrest Maul.
Even after all these years, these fan fictions-these theories, are just as phenomenal as ever. Videos like this help keep my passion for Star Wars alive. Thank you for all of your hard work over the years!
I love that Yoda revived Obi Wan. Personally I love obi wan he’s my favorite character and seeing yoda one of the best force users bring him back is priceless. I would love to see these in movies.
Honestly, It is bullshit. It makes death meaningless. Like if you can always bring back somebody, what is the point of battles. Somebody has to die and obi wan should have been dead. That way the story could continue as Anakin now didn't have his master and still had part of the dark side in him, being sad and angry because of the death. Making him search for a revival technique again through the dark side.
It’s a bit hypocritical, though, considering that Yoda is the one who told Anakin to just let go and let his loved one die. After 800 years of losing friends and loved ones and fellow Jedi, I guess Yoda developed a policy of treating everyone like an expendable goldfish
The emotions I felt from the end of this story almost made me cry. This, this is ending that every Star Wars fan wishes they got. That every Star Wars fan watches revenge of the sith over and over again to see if just maybe, anikan will change his mind. Amazing work my friend.

This was very entertaining. Thanks for making it. A side note: If Luke and Leia had been trained at birth, they would have been very formidable. His father began training as a child, but Luke was a full grown adult before he ever touched a lightsaber. Imagine if he trained in the force for over a decade before that point?

Might be a few days late but this video's a banger, I wish Disney was at least 1/10th as good as you are when it comes to Star Wars movies. You kept continuity, try to assess each characters psychology and history to write the future that would've been. This "movie" touched my soul and honestly felt more canon-like than any of the sequel movies. Hopefully if they make episodes 10-12 you'll be a part of their staff and then your what ifs for episodes 10-12 could be alternative timelines that were actually discussed and explain why you didn't go down that path. That'd be awesome.
This comment doesn't really make sense but I get what you're trying to say. It would be cool if Theory could become a creator for a star wars 'what if' series, but I think he's fine how he is on youtube. I don't know what you mean by "if they make episodes 10-12" of the Skywalker saga and him being apart of it because that makes absolutely no sense due to the fact that 1. the saga is literally over, and 2. you can't just add non-canon movies to a saga...? And also what do you mean by him explaining why he didn't go down a certain path? He's had no control over star wars? Plus he's just a youtuber who makes amazing star wars fan fictions,
@@sneakysnake6617 he means that if he was apart of the staff making a theoretical episodes 10-12, he could also make “what-ifs” of alternate timelines that the staff actually discussed and like explaining at the end why they ultimately didn’t go that route

The fact that Mace Windu NEVER flinched or stood up when Anakin was being disrespectful and about to go ham, shows that THIS Jedi master is cooler than the other side of the pillow 😎👍
Mace Windu learned that he must control this emotions - he learned it during his experience in Family Court when engaged in a lawsuit against his ex-wife before he became a Jedi he learned the force will become very unbalanced and there will be terrible consequences if let his mouth go Mace Windu: "teach you this power i will"
I think Yoda being the one to save someone from death with the force is very poetic. Palpatine promised Anakin these powers and used them to manipulate Anakin, so Yoda executing force life or whatever it's called after all these events unfolded is extremely poetic.
Applauding your storytelling and voice acting. I also wanted to point out how this “What If…” scenario, when coupled with what actually happened, illuminates how the fear that sometimes pushes us into making our worst decisions heavily distorts what might actually happen if we come forward with truth. It’s important to sometimes remember that we don’t have all the answers, and for that reason, we are just as justified in asking “what if everything goes right?” Take care, and thanks again for the video! May the Force be with you :)
Hearing this actually makes Anakin make a little more sense to me. I've always thought "How did he not see through this snake oil salesman? He thinks he can magically save lives?" but he grew up on Tattooine, in the sticks. He was a kid from BFE, his formative years were not in the templt, they were spent in chains, believing in superstition. He was just an easily missed rube.
@Carter Anakin is also called the chosen on by a group of respected wizards. Of course he thinks he can save people, he the choose the one that can balance the force.
Best one yet. This totally deserves to be filmed and played on the big screen. The very last lines gave me chills. Seriously, more people need to be made aware of and to watch this.
The main hole in this fan fiction is that in the movie, Palpatine hadn't mentioned the tragedy of Darth Plaguis to Anakin yet, he doesn't mention it untill after Anakin is told to spy on Palpatine which is after the grand council meeting, so it wouldn't have went down like this
Asking Anakin to spy on the Chancellor is one significant difference between the novelization and the film, ROTS. I never understood why the difference existed, because it changes everything about Anakin’s fall to the dark side. In the novelization, Anakin is not asked to spy on the Chancellor. Anakin is asked to observe the Chancellor because the Jedi Council suspected that the Sith Lord, the same Sith Lord that Dooku had told Kenobi about on Geonosis, was hiding among Palpatine’s inner circle. The Jedi Council had never really suspected Palpatine of being a Sith Lord because he was already Chancellor of the known galaxy. Instead, the Jedi Council suspected Palpatine was under the control of the Sith Lord. In the scene in the film where Anakin accuses Obi-Wan and the Council of asking him to spy on the Chancellor, ends very differently in the novel. Instead of Anakin walking away angry with the Council, Obi-Wan had convinced Anakin that he would actually be protecting the Chancellor from the Sith Lord, which was a role that Anakin eagerly accepted. Anakin discovers where the Sith Lord is hiding in the same way, both in the film and the novel, and he immediately reports to Master Windu that he has found the Sith Lord.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I wish anakin could’ve stayed with the order but it’s also so wholesome to see him and padme live in peace while he trains his two children and obi-wan still being a big part in his life. 10/10 as usual
I love this. Only one thing bothers me. George Lucas confirmed Mace actually did beat Palps in combat, and that was one on one. It feels like with Yoda and Kenobi it should’ve been even easier lol, but this does make for a great story
Not necessarily. You ever heard the phrase "too many cooks in the kitchen". 1 on one he only needs to focus on who he's fighting, but in a group, they each have to watch for the others and they could get in each others way.
@@jacobhargiss3839 thats a good point. Part of me feels like those three would have enough chemistry to make it work, but hey thats a really good point they could just be in each others way lol
I think Palpatine may have also let Mace disarm him, as he felt great conflict in Anakin - and knew that Anakin couldn't let him die if he was to save Padme. He essentially forced an ultimate resolve onto him. If Anakin wasn't there, it's hard to say who would have won - but I'd lean in favour of Palpatine despite Windu's mastery of vaapad.

Would be great! Or a What if type of series. Think time travel is a very difficult thing to do in Star Wars and different timelines as it isn’t like the MCU. Long as it’s done correctly why not a multiverse or a what if type of scenario. Long as it doesn’t break the actual timeline of events. It would be really cool. Maybe in some alternate timeline Anakin didn’t join the sith and became he’s full potential as the chosen one . Stuff like that there’s no problem with long as it don’t break the actual timeline.

I love that Yoda revived Obi Wan. Personally I love obi wan he’s my favorite character and seeing yoda one of the best force users bring him back is priceless. I would love to see these in movies.
This was a great piece of the story that should have been in origional.

Plus he's just a youtuber who makes amazing star wars fan fictions,
@@sneakysnake6617 he means that if he was apart of the staff making a theoretical episodes 10-12, he could also make “what-ifs” of alternate timelines that the staff actually discussed and like explaining at the end why they ultimately didn’t go that route

he learned the force will become very unbalanced and there will be terrible consequences if let his mouth go
Mace Windu: "teach you this power i will"
Any ending Anakin stays on the good side is good for me, Every time I watch the movies I always wish somehow the movies will just change
I love how a tiny decision like this would affect the entire story of star wars, Great work Theory! (:
and it honestly makes sense too
I think Yoda being the one to save someone from death with the force is very poetic. Palpatine promised Anakin these powers and used them to manipulate Anakin, so Yoda executing force life or whatever it's called after all these events unfolded is extremely poetic.
It’s poetic considering Yoda is the one who told Anakin to just let go and let Padme die.
Applauding your storytelling and voice acting. I also wanted to point out how this “What If…” scenario, when coupled with what actually happened, illuminates how the fear that sometimes pushes us into making our worst decisions heavily distorts what might actually happen if we come forward with truth. It’s important to sometimes remember that we don’t have all the answers, and for that reason, we are just as justified in asking “what if everything goes right?”
Take care, and thanks again for the video! May the Force be with you :)
Hearing this actually makes Anakin make a little more sense to me. I've always thought "How did he not see through this snake oil salesman? He thinks he can magically save lives?" but he grew up on Tattooine, in the sticks. Well its only 1 day old and already 100k views so I guess it will soon have a lot of attrntion

Windu: "Congratulations Master Anakin. By showing patience, understanding and respect for your superiors commands, you passed the test."
Also, I love how perfect you made Anakin's monotone voice and his completely dumb reactions, where it takes him forever to figure out even the most simple things.
I don’t think his reactions were dumb. He was just confused and didn’t know which side he should take
he was conflicted - manipulated - his visions of Padme dying were planted by Sideos as a seed to bring Anakin to his side.
Why does everyone forget that Hayden was acting according to Lucas’s direction in order to have a cadence similar to what we know as Darth Vader?
@@barnabasranch5415 ye
@@barnabasranch5415 I dont think anyone forgot that... I think thats why this is a FAN FIC and what actually happened in ROTS happened... Lmao
I would love to see this as a movie because of how perfect it was made and told
WOOWWWW. The narration was good enough on it's own, but the impressions of each character's accents from the actual movies is astonishing. Truly great work. Thank you. I was completely enthralled in the story and felt like it was a very plausible alternative ending.
This was the most transformative What If I've seen in Star Wars lore... And I've been watching them non stop for 3 days. No wonder you're the largest channel dedicated to it.
Morale of the story: when someone tells you to take a seat, counterattack. It will all end up better that way.
What if Chris Hanson asks you to take a seat?
@@LarryMyster I've been waiting for that reference.
You. Are an absolute legend man. I was so mind blown with this story and it was actually really uplifting knowing that there was a happy ending to it all. Star Wars should hire you to write stories because you absolutely killed this. Somewhere in the Multiverse this definitely happened.
Mind blowing!!
I love how he incorporated maul and talon at the end. NGL, almost teared up on this one. This was a beautiful story theory. Keep up the awesome work bro
What an amazing and well-thought alternate ending. I can see all the careful thought put into this, and I love that Yoda saved Kenobi in the end, which correlates to Anakin wanting to prevent Padme from dying! I would have absolutely loved to see this in the movie. Amazing job!
"Anything he needs the Jedi can deliver." This is such a nice quote
Loved it! In my minds eye, this is how I envisioned Episode 3 would end. With Anakin staying in the light and helping to defeat Palpatine.
Bravo! 👍🏻👍🏻
I love the idea that Yoda could always bring people back from the dead, but never bothered because he didn't feel like trying.
It’s like revifiy from dnd. Only works if they’ve only been dead under 10 minutes
And sacrifices a chunk of their own life source - so it’s gotta be necessary
Yoda didn't feel like trying because there is no try

Really good job 👍🏽! I felt like a little kid again, putting in my cassette that would read me my Star Wars book. “When you hear this chime, turn the page.” I miss the 80’s. 👍🏽
Anakin: *Smiling*
Obi Wan: ``DID YOU LOSE YOUR LIGHTSABER AGAIN?!?! I KNOW THAT LOOK!!!``
We aren’t gonna talk about how perfect SWT’s impressions are? Really ties the narration together and makes it 100x better. Bravo.
You can just make your comment without saying "we aren't going to talk about" and people will still agree with you.

Technically Anakin never officially finished his trial to reach the rank of Knight (Grand Master Yoda later deemed this trial as complete but by that point he had been a Knight for quite some time) plus considering one of trials to pass from Knighthood to Masterhood is graduating your Padawan to the rank of Knight and Ashoka was expelled from the order before her trials
Wow... I just wanna say, that was the coolest Star Wars what if I've ever heard/seen. I was deeply invested and felt as if I was there watching the scenes themselves. Honestly felt like a movie and brought emotions out of me, almost to tears. Great story telling, voice acting, and painting of a picture through words. Thank you for this video. I always wished things didn't turn out the way they did with Anakin, and that was a better ending than I could've imagined. Again, from a real Star Wars nerd to another, thank you.
