Oh my god yummy! Will have to try this, thanks River Cottage team!
My mouth is watering looks absolutely delicious
I remember the first river cottage on TV. You're brilliant 😀
very fresh salad there hugh...i love it...
+pypy mascardo Yes it looks so vibrant doesn't it. We're liking the sound and look of this recipe a lot!
Perfection!
Bloody delicious.
Looks delicious 😋
Well this looks great! Very subtle placement of your new book(s) on the mantle.....
Bring back the folk music in the background- so much better!
That looks superb. However I don't like fresh coriander so I might substitute that with flat leaf parsley. Love toasted sesame seeds & the rice wine addition is a great idea. Nice one Fearn !
Indicative of everyday, realistic meals actual people eat. As opposed to plastic fake social media types and their bullshit.
How to use celery? I know it's used in soups or stocks, but I don't like eating it usually. Also how to use up dates and I'd love to see you make asparagus pesto
Nice. Video states full list of ingredients below. Can't see the list. Been removed?
If you put the onion in the ricewine for a few mins then add to the rest you don't get that after taste and breath.
Is he ever coming back on tv
I'd just stick everything into a pita bread instead, no frying required.
If you fry It, no bread required.
Where the heck do i get leftover beef!??
+Henk Boersma I think deli beef sliced thickly might work for this if you haven't made extra for a special dinner.
Any chance of a collab with Barry Lewis? (myvirginkitchen)
+River Cottage Awesome!
Once again, coriander shows up to ruin the party :)
Seems a shame to fry such beautifully cooked beef.
I am not a professional chef or cooking book author but I use a plastic bag for even coating.
Alan Shore Well arent you clever!
You should really invest in a proper microphone!
It's weird that they have such bad sound all of a sudden.

Well it may be a wonderful dish, but it's absolutely no way near Chinese style....
just call it crispy beef, cause its not Chinese ffs
you don't know what you're doing...shame
