That looks wonderful. This is a must try (even without using leftovers).

A great idea Hugh. We'll be giving it a go with our left over roast dinner veg!

i could see this used as a nice filling for egg rolls using a bit of cooked ground chicken or pork.

Looks very nice, I need to try this I think. Ande also. yesterday we picked 12kg of Mispeln (Ilive in Northern Germany) English Medlars, It would be nice if there was a food tube on these strange and exotic fruits, I need to Blett them apparently, which we shall do on our balcony, to get the benefit of the early frosts. We also have Sweet chestnuts, apples and quinces which are all now in season, so any ideas very welcome. Earlier in the Summer we were in Norway and picking wild mushrooms, Raspberries, a speciality called Cloudberries and Blueberries, but there is also a speciality there called Brown cheese, which is made from Whey apparently, which is quite amazingly good, a special dish there is Waffles, served hot with sour cream and Blueberry preserve, it is too die for! later in Poland we did another tour, where more wild mushrooms and berries were in abundance. I think an exploration of these things would be a very interesting series.

These are not cashews, but rather cashew nuts. Cashews are fruits with an orange to red skin and a yellow pulp, and the nut attached to the bottom.
