And the 2nd best part is the melted 1” circle of original vinyl that’s now highlighting your badly repaired hole like a flaming target yelling at you to “look here!”
I never saw you before but I just want to thank you because all other videos were absolutely and incredible fails you are the only one who made sense and actually showed me how to get this done correctly thank you kind sir!
I'm fucking crying laughing. While he said, "were going to get this metal WARM on this wood." I'm thinking why the fuck is he burning the metal so damn hot!!!lmfao. Im guessing he even waited a min thinking he got it to hot and still went and made the fucking hole worse!!! LMFAO. THEN DOESNT EVEN SHOW THE OUTCOME AFTER. "USING THIS BULLSHIT PDODUCT TO CLEAN THE SURROUNDING AREA " LMFAO. OH FUCK ME. I needed this shit today, good shit Bob the Builder!
Is this a joke... Imagine the look on the face of the car owner! "Err... That's different... Well, the hole has gone... Send me the bill" Goes out and buys a "Please remember you seatbelt!" sticker for a buck.

Wow. What a waste of time on a terrible repair attempt. I think it looks even worse now since you can see a much bigger damaged area now. I have seen vinyl patching that has come out pretty damn good but I would reupholster the door panel before I did this to it.
That's call DO IT YOUR SELF. As a car recon tech. Just to repair that hole you need besides to clean the area you need to apply compound or vinyl fill and then iron or heat gun the area using Teflon. And cold block after iron it. And Do, a second step of vinyl fill and come with the texture pad and dye the area. That it. But was a good video too thanks
You showed the right side of door at the end but you repaired the left side. As well you clearly see the indentation for that hole and it's dull not shiny circular spot.. horrible job
I have the exact same kit, nowhere in the instructions does it say apply heat to the pattern compression tool. It says it takes one hour to dry apply 3x, so will take three hours to cure all up. What a shockingly stupid video. Dumb is dumb I guess. That is not personal to the video poster but he has consolidated his position by not pulling the video down. Or changing it. Alternatively he has some axe to grid with the producer of the product or the business owner.......
FLOL This video and comments. I know its 12 yrs ago but even the repair kit looks shit and should be left on the shops shelf. Please, someone, add Benny Hill music. Please
LOL, I saw the hole you failed to fill then you put the camera on a different undamaged area to pretend you fixed it. I smell fraud and a lawsuit. Lies.
Best part is the last shot of a completely different part of the door.
exactly not even close to correctly fixing
And the 2nd best part is the melted 1” circle of original vinyl that’s now highlighting your badly repaired hole like a flaming target yelling at you to “look here!”
You guys just don't get art
Absolutely, because the damage part after repairing have circle heat mark it make look more weird.
How to fix 1 mm diameter hole by covering it with a 10 mm diameter thin layer of not matching paint.
Hahah
I can’t stop laughing cause now it looks worse than when started. lmao.
Worse…
Exactly 😂😂😂
Hahaaaaa!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 quit playing mannn!!! made my day I cant stop cracking up watching this video!!!!
I never saw you before but I just want to thank you because all other videos were absolutely and incredible fails you are the only one who made sense and actually showed me how to get this done correctly thank you kind sir!
Probably my favourite Tim & Eric sketch
He melted the good vinyl around the hole. What a dork! LOLOLOL

That textured paper was a real joke 😂
Is there an updated version of this video?! This was a long time ago and soo many what not to do things.
Great. You removed the torn part off which could have been glued back into place and replaced it with an ugly ring burn. FAIL!
Is this a joke? Like tongue in cheek humor? I hope not. Your failure here is of superb quality. Excellent work.
Looks worse
I agree. I'd rather have the tiny hole than a huge miscolored circle shape of melted vinyl. It's so obvious that it was repaired.
I would give this a thumbs up,
Just the tool you used to heat the vinyl should have been smaller
4:00 to 4:11 = some magic happens?
Is this a joke... Imagine the look on the face of the car owner! "Err... That's different... Well, the hole has gone...
Send me the bill"
Goes out and buys a "Please remember you seatbelt!" sticker for a buck.
Just the smallest amount of super glue would have been so much better.
I was really hyped at first bc of the brick (looking to make repairs on my own) but man...
LMFAO at these comments! Dude, youtube will call you out if your a hack, lol!
nice repair bro
Thanks bob!
Son of Benny Hill tries his luck at a toyota dealer fixing holes . lol!!😁
Amazing! Will this work on a cut as well in the vinyl?
Better to just put a sticker over it.
atnfn real shit man that's what I did lmao
A bandaid

who the hell would give this a thumbs up?
I'm weak on that intro tho 🤣🤣
Lol
You put your hand over the repair and showed a completely different part of the door !!! I was just about to give you your own tv show . But not now
I did anyone else notice that when he showed the end result it was on the other side of the door lol
Searching for an actual vinyl fix, and this pops up. I can't help it watch it several times. Why pan to the lock? It's so bad it's good.
why does this video lint come up first on google
I immediately know this video will be shit when I see "ehow"
🤣 🤣 🤣 what a _HATCHET JOB!!!_
it's as bad as all the comments say...
can't believe you posted this!!!
Now looks like a car cigarette lighter was pressed into it.. hahaha!
After removing the applicator, he paused when he saw the burn ring.. Lolzz, wasn't expecting that was he
What a Shit repair! Done more damage than anything and it was so bad they had to show a different part of the interior lol 😂🤣😂🤣 great Camera Trick 👍
Lol
So many ways this can go wrong

instructions unclear. car on fire.
a car on fire is still better than the repair he did
Come on guys, he did repair the tear, even if it does look like dog shit.
That's a pretty shitty fix. I would be pissed if that was the result I got after paying someone to fix a cut that small on my shit.
I didn't read the comments until after the video, now I've pmsl
This might be the most epic video on UA-cam. Absolutely brilliant. Not.
What the heck was that repair!? It's ten times worse for God sake.
Benny hill music and this video would be complete.
Man people were trolling ages ago
the hole wasn't filled, and the disk shaped vinyl filler all around it looks like ass
lousy job
Hahaha. This was funny.
Mr Bob u ruined that door buy melting the surrounding area
Whoops !!!!!
Hi
realy? the last shot was not of the repair area lol
horrible filming with the panning. you melted a circle onto the vinyl. hmmmm
You showed the right side of door at the end but you repaired the left side. As well you clearly see the indentation for that hole and it's dull not shiny circular spot.. horrible job
Why did he apply AN EXTREMELY HOT PIECE OF METAL directly to it 🤣🤣 omg total fail
too much heat using a torch
sexual relation men and woman of China

he made sure not to focus
on the results
He didn't focus on anything. The camera was all over the place.
thanks..
please take off your finger when you cut with the razor.. it looks dangerous.
It's "torn" not tore.
Fatal error :)
This is definitely not the way to do it lol

This is literally the worst "how to" result I've ever seen! 😂
😂

Terrible job...I hope you did NOT charge for it.....
Bruh...that looks like shit. Actually worse than prior to the "repair"...
what the FAK.........😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That looks awful.
