Shimoda certainly know how to make a quality bag. My camera bag is important to me and I can honestly say the Shimoda bag I won is the best camera bag I’ve ever owned. Love it so much. Thankyou Sarah

Ooo, thanks for the rundown on these new Shimoda bags; they look gorgeous and perfect for my urban exploring needs. My problem is every Shimoda bag seems ideal for me. 😅
Denise and I hope you’re doing well. We’re on an American Southwest road trip and just left Zion, NP; we’re currently exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and thinking how cool a yellow dress framed by the arches would be - also making great use of our Shimodas!! 😁😁

You both would love this bag.. especially for those London outings 😁

Thanks ! great review !what about this colourway; is it very sensitive to marks and smudges? the bottom? and does the backpack stand on its own?

Discovered your channel by accident which makes me slightly mad (algorithms). Your channel has such great content! Subscribed and planning to look through as much videos I can. Love your style.

I just received the 20L and I will be doing a review very soon. I did an unboxing video a few days ago, the 20 L rear panel will not hold a 14 laptop or even 12.9 iPad. Laptop would have to go in the front and a 14 inch MacBook Pro squeezes in nicely.

I'm glad they are offering a simpler bag: sometimes the outdoor bags are so complex, it ruins the photography experience.

I do not have a shopping gene. If my wife was a photographer we would be broke. She would be all in on your choices over the years. It looks really nice but I would rather waist my money on GEAR! Ooo did I say waist?🤔🤔🤔🤔🙃🙃🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sarah the Enabler!! Lol

Sarah, can you fit a 16inch Macbook Pro easily in the back door/flap? I would prefer to keep my laptop in the laptop sleeve of the backdoor so that when I lie the bag down, the laptop doesn't get crushed under the weight of cameras and the whole backpack.

Would a a7r3 with a battery grip attached fit in there and also be able to get it out of the side access?

I blew up the video on a large screen and spotted the 25L tag near the side pocket. But, Sarah, Im curious what size laptop you are sliding into the back pocket ... 16 or 14"? Im trying to determine this so that I buy the correct size. Thanks! @@rubelukeable

Shimoda makes great bags. But, I've never liked the shade of blue that is used for the interior.

Can you use your Explore v2 Hip belt in the Urban Explore? (maybe the colors don't match?)

    • @sarahlyndsay
      @sarahlyndsay  10 місяців тому

No hip belt for the Urban bag and yes if you could, they would be different colours.

Saw on other review that you can use the hip belt from the explore v2 on this urban model

I’ll have to watch!! It’s nothing I’ve tried with the bag, nor will I use it that way.

Shimoda is a great company. But it is much too expensive. For instance, Lowepro products are at least as good as Shimoda, but much less expensive. I use Lowepro for at least 30 years and still can use my first backback - even I have some new ones, of course.

I have been through 3 lowepro bags. All have spoilt zipper after anout one year. Shimoda bag is indeed expensive, but i am happy with my after using lowepro and peak design
