    The way the larger pendulum determines the scale that the smaller pendulum uses, and itself plays a bass note is genius.

    I always played this song when I fed my kitten a bottle at nighttime. She would fall asleep instantly when I put her on my bed when she was full. This song was her lullaby, and when I miss her, I listen to this. She died to pneumonia as I rushed to the nearest animal hospital but was too late. Rip pookie ♡

    I'm a teacher and I've found your videos the most effective resource so far for calming my students after they come in from the yard or during breaks between lessons, especially those with autism/ADHD. Personally, I'd consider this video your best, but they're all useful to offer variety. I wonder if it would be possible to create shorter 10 or 5 minutes versions of your videos with some kind of visual countdown timer that I could set to run? If they could fade out at the end to gently let students come back to awareness that would perfect. Thanks for everything!

      You can create your own short videos by leaving a comment with your timestamps, come back and click on the timestamp then limit your play time to 10 or 5 minutes. He did his work, we can do ours. I'm not condescending, think at what else he can come up with if he's doing what he does best.

    I haven't listened to more than a few minutes, but the vibe is like...listening to the flow of time at different points. Like floating down a river where some points are slower and others are faster. Some are sadder and others happier. Some smoother and others rockier. It's like listening to a ballad of the multiverse, falling through universes as you listen to a single melody contained within all of them. And you feel at one with said melody, despite your changing environments. Or like watching a static night sky as the seasons shift around you. Just the visual representations I see in my mind's eye while listening. It's lovely, thank you for this piece!

    This is the music of our physical world. It is physics and science of motion, velocity, gravity-basic building blocks that affect us from moment to moment, each and everyday-translated into the language of sound and music. It is beautiful and majestic and peaceful yet is calculated, specifically unique, and oh so natural. It is the music of math. There is beauty and divinity in the physical world around us, hiding within plain site. Reminiscent of how spheres and traingles are often utilized in religious depictions and arcitecture..the various divine shapes and sacred geometry. I could go on and on, but--like us humans--this music is infinitely unique yet unbelievably precise, silimar, and calculated...it is awestrikingly beautiful.

    This is the most exquisite piece of art I have ever found and experienced.
    It's like you're seeing the beauty of mathematics combined with our emotions and physical feelings. Something that I often marvel at to myself. To me, this video / Musical Performance represents the sublime accuracy of our understanding of the construction of precise geometry and angular mathematics.
    And you've brought those ethereal geometries into our realities through utterly extraordinary sound. The arbitrary correspondent resonant amplitudes you chose for that sound, combined with the differing gravitational masses of each pendulum head, along with the multiple lengths of all the pendulum strings, and finally with the apparent initial acceleration of each pendulum swing, are simply stunning to me, and draw a smile across my face.
    Thank you for your performance. And thank you for your amazing creativity!! Bravo! Bravo!! Bravissimo!!!

    Words truly can't describe how beautiful this sounds. The inconsistently timed notes, the heavenly atmosphere, the mesmerizing, almost hypnotic sound. It's like something about it just reels me in. I feel so at ease and tranquil listening to this. A part of me feels so at peace just listening and being here in the moment. It's almost as if just listening to it makes everything at the moment slow down and feel less stressful. That's just talking about the sound of this masterpiece! The visual aspect is just as soothing and mesmerizing! It's all so simple yet so intricate! This makes me very happy. This is so amazing!❤❤❤

    This has me thinking about if the ocean and the stars swapped places. A beautiful dark ocean filled with blues and purples. An ever-present glow within their waters, celestia just lapping at your skin. All while above you is a literal expansive sea. All the sea caves and trenches seem to lead to another world. If only you could swim further, swim faster it'd all feel in reach. But alas, you are stuck with the glowing ocean and your heavy heart. Wishing you could do more, feel more in your life as time slips away.

    This is like the rythm of the universe. Everthing is connected and seperate at the same time. Its like a dance. Every small entity has its own rhythm but then suddenly something bigger hits every once in a while, while harmonizing with the smaller happenings. The line in the middle makes up the present moment of like right now. And there is beutiful chaos in all of it but it keeps having its own rhythm, sometimes being more symmetrical, sometimes less. And like with life there are moments when everything fits perfectly in some moments of a life. 4:01 is like something major important happening like the first kiss. And to a certain degree everything is unpredictible because its so many factors adding up every time the circles swing up again, it sounds different everytime. And like in life there are gaps when nothing is in order and all is completely out of rhythm but the rhythm keeps going on. And unexpectedly boom, harmony. The polyrhythms are so inspiring and hypnotizing because some unexpected sound or form arises all the time, something beautifully unexpected out of nothing, creating, like the universe.

    If I'm correct and the "swings" aren't randomized at any point, if you like one sound/constellation in particular, the time between that and the next one should be: the time + 15 minutes and 34 seconds. What an amazing video, relaxing and dreamy for sure!

      Woah, how did you do the math?

    • @hikaruhoshi
      @hikaruhoshi Рік тому

      @@ZkullShot well, looking at one "special" event in the video (for example 00:08) and looking for the next time it happens (15:42). Then it's basically 15:42 minus 8 seconds, which results in 15 minutes and 34 seconds (time of end - time of start = variation in time)

    • @dylanyoungs8313
      @dylanyoungs8313 Рік тому +1

      @@hikaruhoshi Out of curiosity, do you think the white 'bass' pendulums are correctly modelled, They don't seem to ever get closer to eachother. Is this because their frequencies are so long that it would take forever for them to synchronise, or because they are 'faked' for listening pleasure?

    • @hikaruhoshi
      @hikaruhoshi Рік тому +4

      @@dylanyoungs8313I found out something interesting. In theory, if the time for one swing (for each pendulum) is always the same, all the swings will NEVER sync. So, ALL "bass" pendulums take about 33 seconds (probably plus some milliseconds as the time sometimes was 34, I measured it like the "constellations") to move from center - left or right - center or about 1 minute and 6 seconds to move one full swing (c - l - c - r - c or c - r - c - l - c). In conclusion, the swings probably CAN'T and will NEVER synchronize (as my measurement of time is very loose, they maybe could, but after a veeeery long time, but if the amount of milliseconds/microsesconds... are also the same, they will truly NEVER sync). This is also why they never seem to get closer.
