My guess is a stiffer suspension (than the new highland), new 20" Überturbine style wheels, EV specific performance tires, 2.8 second 0-60, upgraded brakes and new software features for the Performance version.

Roadster has no meaning, this car with Plaid is a perfect hyper car, writing this for years. But without stalks and sonic sensors it's highly inferior and outdated for driving

Also buttons replacing stalks isn't a big deal, atleast in the US. And what are sonic sensors?

Loving this new design. Tiny changes that make a huge difference for the better. Have to be honest was never that big a fan of the Model 3s but these new ones are definitely on the wish list for me!

Not that bad. Roundabouts are stupid, for that I have a s3xy button on the bottom of my steeringwheel to indicate right which makes it already a lot better.
For the rest, you get used to it fast.
Would I prefer stalks however? Yes.
More annoying is the autopilot wheel button not always working immediatly (at least in mine), as well for enganging and disengaging.
For the wipers I also have 2 s3xy buttons below the touch screen to increase / decrease, automatic wipers still suck.

Btw, I like roundabouts. They are much more convenient, than traffic lights. They are omnipresent here in Germany.
@@iBackBeat I was also very sceptical, but after using it for 3 weeks now, it's not worse at all. Except for roundabouts (which as said I solved with the extra button). So if you mean with "much worse" that part, I agree, for the rest it's not too bad.
If I could chose, I would chose stalks again (because those also work in roundabouts).
And you get used to it after a single drive.

I love the look of my 2018 Model 3 and nothing else has come close to being better for me personally until now. Looking forward to seeing the updated Model 3 with their newer color options on the roads.

Road noise is greatly reduced. Its a different car than previous model 3.
It's a great car, I was already able to drive it. The suspension is way softer, but too soft on higher speeds IMO.
Everything feels better, even closing the frunk and noise in general is dramatically reduced.

I just got the M3 LR highland here in Australia and it's so bloody good. Best car I've ever driven! It's so smooth and quiet, fast as hell and so comfortable. Tesla has created the best vehicle on the road by far!

I bought Model 3 six years ago then put 60,000 miles on it in 2 years. Nothing short of revolutionary way to get around. I Bought Model Y 3 years ago and have 111,000 smiles on it. It's just amazing what Tesla has done. I will never go back to ice as soon as I get my Cybertruck I am done.
Safe to say you've never driven any other car in your life before😂 Tesla was the worst manufacturer in 2022 and #15 in 2023, all they make is junk. No debating it
Ordering the refresh y as soon as its out. I have heard great things about this refresh 3 from friends in Europe who have them.

Love it. I've had 3 Teslas. No stalks is a deal breaker for me in the UK though. Tesla vision is just about bearable.

No they don’t have them anymore and it’s all touch screen now like the model S and X

Automatic wiper still sucks.
Indicators are mainly annoying in roundabouts, have added s3xy button at bootom of steering wheel to indicate right to solve that.
Also for increasing / decreasing wiper speed I have 2 s3xy buttons.
For the rest is indicating not too bad with the buttons.
Engaging autopilot with the wheel button is also not always working immediatly and then you have to press again.
No parking sensors either

Missing 2 things only: HUD and indicator stalk!? < Speaking from experience, since i already own this car here in Norway. Otherwise great car :)
Using indicator for exiting roundabouts are pretty hard in the new upgrade.
Tesla should do a top gear style series with tesla cars with different challenges and tests, lap times special guests. Camping tests, hill climbs, offorad, road trips, moving house, powering a home, robo taxi test, peter griffin sat nav voice, police style cybertruck ect the content would be fantastic especially on X
Our Model S is ten years old, but still feels new. How many people can say that about their car. Tesla really did set the bar high with what a car can and should be.
And if the last ten years has been this amazing, imagine what the next ten years will be like.

hows the battery? I'd imagine it being difficult to sell an electric car that is 10 years old, because of the cost of battery replacement
I brought a $5000 hatchback back in 2007. To this day, it feels and drives as though its new. Tesla did not set bar in what a car should be, it has however created a cult of fanboys that will overlook battery degradation, the lack of a dashboard, lack of physical buttons, the high insurance rates and repair costs. I am pretty sure my hatchback will last another 10+ years, I doubt you can say the same for your tesla.
I bet that battery is getting rough. Might need to spend the $20,000+ to fix that.

A HUD would be awesome! I bought an aftermarket version. It really makes a difference in focus speed for the eyes; when looking down then back at the road. Plus I can see it day or night.

What would be better at least to get more range is to put a proper transmission in it. Single speed gearbox is very wasteful. At highway cruising speeds a transmission is better.

The Model 3 is one of the very best EVs for efficiency. All EVs with 2-speed gearboxes have worse efficiency.
@@logitech4873 Not true. At high speeds you need something to keep the motor from having to work so hard to sustain that speed. Gearing helps.

I and my wife have been on the fence about changing to the new Model 3. Yet, Tesla sort of lets us down a bit. Here is why. Same batteries for the trims, same power output, same drive units, same motors, still without power front trunk lid (when it rains, you close the front trunk lid, your hands gets dirty and wet. When it is hot, it burns the skin of your fingers.) No stalks on either side of steering wheel; when adjusting wiper speed and side mirrors, have to fumble via different menu on the center screen while taking eyes off the road ahead doing that. The future is interesting per Tesla design, or lack of design to save costs. The interior still looks pretty much the same. No radar, no distance sensors, still performing worse in many youtube videos compared to older Model 3 with sensors on bumpers. No cross-traffic alert when you back up from parking spaces. The range for the longest range is down from 353 miles in 2023 to just 341 in 2024.
Hmmmm interesting conclusion. Not sure what review you’ve seen but the new model 3 is a big step up from current model 3. Let me explain: new acoustic glass all the way around, improved interior with higher quality material, new seats, new suspensions for better ride, ventilated front seats, new sound system, vision system released, and more….
The removal of the stalks is a BIG deal for me.
