As bad as the movie is, this concept doesn’t actually sound bad and in fact actually sounds kinda scary to be in the situation. Anything that involves being stranded due to a creature stalking the area such as The Shallows and Tremors can be scary
I agree 💯 actually I didn't think it was bad movie at all tbh because the concept was different unlike anything I had seen before and if you think about there is proof that many marine life has been undiscovered and the what if a jellyfish was this size and it's egg was taken out the water so when it hatched hungry instead of eating stuff in the ocean it's eats whatever is near it's egg and now wants flesh and if you study Abit about jellyfish you'll find out how dangerous their tentacles are in the small size they are so if they where huge some of this may be possible and that's kinda creepy which is why I liked the movie I mean it's not amazing but I'd say it wasn't bad and Jamie Kennedy as a cop added some humor to it imo
Honestly the ending of it being a giant jelly fish really impressed me, this movie concept was really thought out even if it had zero budget backing it

**SPOILER ALERT** Although this movie is obviously fiction and all, they actually managed to get a lot of the jellyfish scientifically correct! The “strings” that came up out of the sand are what i assume to be the Jellyfish’ Nematocysts. Which are usually these small harpoon like organs on the tentacles which fire out venom irl. Another thing i are the bioluminescent tentacles which jellyfish use to attract prey. Props on them for that at least lol Keep up the great work guys, I look forward to it everyday :)

I saw this movie and it scared the crap out of me about a killer beach and a cop who was a total jerk and I felt sorry for these poor kids for what they went through losing they're friends.
keep in mind, these were probably the kids who were lucky enough to not sleep near or on the sand. There are no signs the other party goes actually left, they were probably all eaten.
