All words from the mouth of a man who convinced an entire nation that the world should be pure blooded Germans and every single Jewish individual alive should be eradicated. fun fact: i remeber as they where filming this movie here in germany, berlin, the most scenes you see him on the streets are real footage. They put that guy in this outfit, let him walk around and do his stuff and filming the reactions of the people. thats the reason why you see here in the last scene on the street some peoples eyes censored.
If I was a supreme leader I would end the world myself due to everyone's stupidity, and then die. Unnecessary stupidity at that, things that you could walk around and realize the truth behind but simple bias locks everyone's brain and nobody is open to new ideas they aren't bias about.
You can actually see that many of the scenes where he interacts with random citizens are filmed differently. Thats because they where often essentially actual reactions as those people werent actors but instead passerbys. They just let him roam the streets of berlin dressed as hitler just to see how people would react to his presence xD
It were not only the streets of Berlin. Even when he and his cameraman roamed germany, everything (except for the actual scenes) was not staged. How do i know? watched this movie in class a few months back. first half was hilarious, and gradually it got more and more disturbing. the actor who played hitler did a magnificent job portraying how scary this guy could be
People who knew him wouldn't say he was scary. That's what's scarier. People who came across him said he was quite normal, nothing too intimidating about him. It's just those speeches he gave with passion and fire... all for show. Telling people what they want to hear. Also, the dude had bad gas. Sometimes after meals, he'd leave the table and drop fart bombs and could be heard screaming in the next room from horrible stomach cramps. I remember watching a video of when Hitler met with a Swedish official for some assistance. Hitler hated smoking and the guy sat there right in front of Hitler and smoked his cigarettes. He said he knew Hitler was in deep shyt and needed his help because he didn't say anything to the guy about his smoking. He just sat there lmaooo... Or how if he got anxious or nervous about things he'd bury his knuckles into a desk. The only thing that was scary about him was how he was able to convince people to go along with his agenda to kill people. It also didn't help that there was already an anti-semitism movement in parts of Europe. He had too many yes men around him. Had enough people around him told him those weren't good ideas, I definitely think he would have changed ALOT of things. But that's just my opinion.
In case you didn't know: Most of the street scenes of people waving at Hitler or taking photos with him were actually real. Same for many of the conversations on the tour. Tose people were no actors. They were actually happy and amused to see someone looking like Hitler. Knowing this makes the message of the film much deeper.
Ahh, I was looking for this comment. The last scene when he’s driving through Berlin and people greeted him with the salute was disturbing. Never thought people would actually do that, but I guess there are a lot of weird people.
@@vfnt Doing the Hitler Salute in Public is highly Illegal in Germany. You get arrested on the spot for that in chase you didn't know. Quite sure the Szene where they did the Hitler Salute was not Improvised or else they would go to Prison and the Movie could be canceled real fast...
Although I wouldn´t react as they did,I don´t get why you take is as so weird. They know for 99,999999% that he is not real Hitler. There are videos of people looking like Kim Jong-un,Trump,Putin and many other political figures,in many of them just having fun, while acting like those figures, yet everyone knows (even in case of still living figures it is like 99% chance) that they are not the real ones and people saying ,,All hail the immortal leader" in presence of guy looking like Kim Jong-un doesn´t mean that they are the biggest fans of the North Korea just as waving to guy looking like Hitler doesn´t mean that they read Mein kampf before they go to sleep.
@@vfnt Well, also realize WHY the regular German went along with him all those years ago. While he was doing all those atrocities, he was boosting the German economy, making lives better for the German people, making jobs, bringing food, supplies, resources. The world hates him and rightfully so. But he did a lot for Germany, and that's why they looked the other way while they benefited.
Fun fact: In the scene where Hitler shoots the dog, it is actually quite inaccurate, as it is a known fact that he would never hurt an animal, so it really doesn’t make sense in the movie.
I remember coming across this movie on a whim while vacationing in Italy years ago. It was all fun and games at first but by the end it was terrifyingly serious. Hitler’s final lines on the car ride actually sent a few chills down my spine. There's a deep historical lesson in this movie and if you know the history of Hitler's original rise to power, it's even better.
Alright. I'll give y'all a detailed breakdown cause this video doesn't include some rather critical final moments of the film. The final scene starts with Hitler saying "Everything has a deeper meaning". He then says that the situation (meaning the political/social situation) is great for him "in Germany, Europe, the world." The car ride scene then is interchanged back and forth with a pretty big montage of actual footage from far-right/nationalist rallies, riots and even political speeches from a number of European countries like Germany, Austria, Sweden, Holland, the UK, France, etc. The themes of these montage clips are EXACTLY what you would expect from the far-right. Very populist, nationalistic, anti-immigrant, and with a particular focus on purity and national identity. The very last of these montage clips is from a rally in Germany where the crowd is chanting "We are the people". This chant continues until the screen fades to black but not before Hitler says the following (his final line of the movie): "I can work with this." If you know your history as to how Hitler came to power in Germany back in the 1920s and early 1930s, that's a VERY ominous final sentence from him and it insinuates that he intends to ride his new found fame as well as new and powerful waves of 21st century European right-ring nationalism, populism, fascism, and anti-immigrant ideology all the way back to power in Germany just like he did almost a century prior. We all know what happened after that. The deadliest war in the history of humanity. The film is satire, but serves as a warning as to how dangerous these ideologies are.

his last line in the movie still sends chills, it shows all the riots, all the protests, all the anti-islam, and hitler only comments "i can work with this"
Hitler actually liked the Islam religion wishing their default religion was Islam and hated the Christian religion for being meek and weak. Hitler's ideology found more in common with the Islam religion than the Christian religion.

watched this movie in class a few months back. first half was hilarious, and gradually it got more and more disturbing. the actor who played hitler did a magnificent job portraying how scary this guy could be
People who knew him wouldn't say he was scary.
Anyone know what is name in beggining of the video?

I remember coming across this movie on a whim while vacationing in Italy years ago. It was all fun and games at first but by the end it was terrifyingly serious. Hitler’s final lines on the car ride actually sent a few chills down my spine. IT IS A DAMN FINE FILM.
what were his last lines?
@@maileya4193 I want to know his last lines also
Putting this here so i get notified of his last lines
Alright. I'll give y'all a detailed breakdown cause this video doesn't include some rather critical final moments of the film.
The final scene starts with Hitler saying "Everything has a deeper meaning". He then says that the situation (meaning the political/social situation) is great for him "in Germany, Europe, the world."
The car ride scene then is interchanged back and forth with a pretty big montage of actual footage from far-right/nationalist rallies, riots and even political speeches from a number of European countries like Germany, Austria, Sweden, Holland, the UK, France, etc. The themes of these montage clips are EXACTLY what you would expect from the far-right. Very populist, nationalistic, anti-immigrant, and with a particular focus on purity and national identity.
The very last of these montage clips is from a rally in Germany where the crowd is chanting "We are the people". This chant continues until the screen fades to black but not before Hitler says the following (his final line of the movie):
"I can work with this."
If you know your history as to how Hitler came to power in Germany back in the 1920s and early 1930s, that's a VERY ominous final sentence from him and it insinuates that he intends to ride his new found fame as well as new and powerful waves of 21st century European right-ring nationalism, populism, fascism, and anti-immigrant ideology all the way back to power in Germany just like he did almost a century prior. We all know what happened after that. The deadliest war in the history of humanity.
The film is satire, but serves as a warning as to how dangerous these ideologies are.
That’s fucking daring. We need more films like this.

if this really happened, all he would say is I TOLD YOU SO

FYI: This film was actually filmed in public with public interactions just like Borat did in the US. This means must interactions weren`t actors playing but real reactions from real people. As in the scene where he meets the NPD (extreme far right party in Germany and weirdly close to NSDAP) leader, he really belittles him, makes fun of him and shows everyone the stupidity of their idea of races etc..
I got that impression. I don't know how I never heard of this movie before.
there’s actually an italian version of the movie, telling the story of a reborn mussolini, and it’s chilling to see people saluting him and smiling at him in support on the main streets of rome
Yeah some camera angles gave it away lol
@@chiaras6019 chilling? what’s so chilling about Mussolini?
@@iraqoid i was about to take the bait but ive been working on not reacting to trolls like you. Have a nice day my Fascist friend.

The best Amazing part and maybe even scary is the first speech he gives in tv which is right on point probably for mostly any nation nowadays ,makes you think he could rise up right back again if he was to appear or someone like him
