Hi Mate, great to see you in Edinburgh. I love that city. No idea how long you are in town but if you have time, check out this Italian Deli across the road called Valvona & Crolla. It has been around forever and has some great produce in there. I am not suggesting that you do a food eating video there but just to see the place and what it sells. People always talk about how posh Edinburgh is but I've not really found it different than any other city. It has posh areas and it has rough parts. I wouldn't call Pilton, Niddrie, Dalkeith, Sighthill or Wester Hailes posh.
I have a new suggestion for Danny, I know how much he enjoys batter done right and I challenge Danny to try the exceptionally aerated batter and superb fish at Seafresh in Conisbrough near Doncaster. The Large cod is a must!! The chips are spectacular too! Let me know if you decide to come over my way guys!!

There’s a place on the outskirts of Edinburgh called south Queensferry, there’s another down the hatch with more American themed menu, the burgers are really nice and they have a lot of buffalo sauce dishes. There’s also a place there called the Bodrum which do really nice hoagie wraps

Danny, if you’re still in central Scotland please go and try the 3 little pigs in Falkirk. You won’t be disappointed. It’s hard to recommend something from the menu because it’s all amazing. Make sure to have a go at the cookie pies 💯
Need to go to Kebab Mahal in Nicholson Square in Edinburgh, won best take away in Scotland a few times. Get the Karahi Gohst and Karahi Murgh. Both are fantastic 😋
Nah, used to be good years ago, you just have to avoid the rats just outside in Nicholson Square.. And the curries in Scotland are shit compared to what he'll get in Leeds and especially Bradford.

Edinburgh is a lovely place to visit. And a load of places to eat. Glasgow really surprised us very enjoyable. As was Elgin and Glen Eagles Hotel for afternoon tea. Elgin area is maybe our favourite area. Stayed at the Kellas Estate really a nice spot next to the trout fishing lakes.,

A "Hoagie" in America refers to a sandwich made from Italian cuts of meat with, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion on a "hoagie" ( crusty, Italian bread) roll . It's usually has a squirt of vinaigrette made from red wine vinegar, olive oil and Italian herbs, on the ingredients. You ate a version of a hoagie when you were in NYC. It is more universally called a "submarine sandwich" because of it's shape. In my opinion, the success or failure of the sandwich is all in the quality of the bread. It should be crusty, a bit chewy, and have a great aroma.
A hoagie in airdrie (not Canadian airdre, the crap Scottish one 😂) is like a pita bread with loads of cheap junk in it like donar kebab meat , frozen chips , salad and sauce, it’s horrendous

There is a ghost kitchen up in Aberdeen that does the beef dip as a side with a brisket bun. Oh, so good !

A "Hoagie" in America refers to a sandwich made from Italian cuts of meat with, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion on a "hoagie" ( crusty, Italian bread) roll . It's usually has a squirt of vinaigrette made from red wine vinegar, olive oil and Italian herbs, on the ingredients. You ate a version of a hoagie when you were in NYC. It is more universally called a "submarine sandwich" because of it's shape. In my opinion, the success or failure of the sandwich is all in the quality of the bread. It should be crusty, a bit chewy, and have a great aroma.

A hoagie in airdrie (not Canadian airdre, the crap Scottish one 😂) is like a pita bread with loads of cheap junk in it like donar kebab meat , frozen chips , salad and sauce, it’s horrendous

There’s one in South Queensferry as well 🤤 You can order anything on the menu and be a happy bunny! Not exactly Scottish 😋 But utterly delicious.
