This is one of my most played solo games of late. The solo A.I. is extremely punishing but it does feel like playing against a dynamic player. A couple of house rules I have I have implemented when playing solo are: I don’t draw Automa cards for contaminated survivors on the A.I.’s convoy at the start of the round. I give myself one item card at the beginning of the game. I feel this helps balance things and it also makes thematic sense regarding the non drawing of Automa card for contaminated survivors.
Played about 6 times solo now. I finally have everything memorized so i don't have to refer to the rules. This video helped a lot. Cant wait for my first 4 player game at our house con this summer.
I hate that Automa card also! Being punished for playing well never sits right with me especially when the AI is already so challenging as is. It made me stop my first game before I even finished. I'll give it a second chance though. Looking forward to the rest of your playthrough.

It's worth pushing on, the game is great 🙂 that AI card can hurt I just get glad to have Loot and try to consider Fame an added Bonus I'm sure to lose
I believe that when the automa moves it must use the abilities of its action cards
It does yes. I forgot about it a bit but corrected it at the end of turns
