Hi Chris, I visited Rodeo Drive three years ago (today.) It was really something to experience - a lot different from the main street in my little mining town! I have to say that the product specialist at the Porsche Design store that I chatted with was absolutely wonderful to me. Such a nice lady, friendly, warm and interested. Thanks, Ⓜ️
Nice tour, Chris. Last time I was on Rodeo Drive, Bijan's yellow Rolls Royce was parked right in front of the store! This was many years ago right before he passed away. I believe the store was located on the other side of Rodeo Drive at that time.
Hi Chris. Thank you for the beautiful walking tour of Rodeo Drive. If you don't look at the names of the stores, you would think it was just another shopping area. Gotta be super high end if you need to make an appointment just to go into the store. The street just of the main drag is beautiful and goes remind me of some European cities.
A nice stop on our way to Santa Monica. Interesting to see what the "rich people" have to wear. Doesen`t look good. Thank you for the nice nice vid. Greetings
We were here last month and saw Ted Danson driving a very upmarket car. I had the feeling the majority of people there were tourists with the occasional rich or famous person out shopping. Great and insightful video as always though Chris.
That looks really nice especially with all the palm trees along the road. I'm the same way - there would be no way I could afford anything on Rodeo Drive. However, it is cool to at least walk down it. It reminds me of some of the high end shopping streets I've seen in Europe except that Rodeo Drive allows vehicles.
[North] Rodeo Drive is definitely among the best touristic / window shopping attractions of LA / Beverly Hills; albeit, most of us can’t even afford to set foot in those by-appointment stores - especially at establishments like the House of Bijan, catering to the presidents, royalties, and billionaires. Still, nothing could live up to the idea of the glamorous LA more than Rodeo Drive - certainly not Hollywood Blvd. Thanks for the comprehensive walking tour. Even though I’m quite familiar with the place, I could honestly say that I still picked up some new insights into the post pandemic Rodeo Drive scene. In the old days the place was frequented by a more glamorous crowd; nowadays, it looks like the demographics of the window shoppers has changed quite a bit.
Hi Chris, i will be travelling to LA, LV and NY from Singapore this Christmas. your videos are really helping me make informed decisions on my trip itinerary. just wondering if u would consider making short videos in teaching us international drivers on how to drive at LA. im planning to rent a car but im not too confident in driving on the left hand side of the car. also r there any tips on how do i observe traffic rules in LA or LV especially in parkings. its so confusing! Anyway keep up the great content! love them.
Thank you so much, Chris! Great seeing these streets that I am always driving on. I was going to fly out this month for my B-Day and decided not to due to the crazy air travel cancellations, pilot shortages, covid call out sick employees and all the rest! Love watching your Cali videos. Thank you. CAB 😍
This video felt very expensive. 😄But interesting too. Actually I tend to go out more for walks after seeing your video. I feel like you must be taking at least 20 000 steps every day. 🤗Anyway as you walk around all the boutiques do you feel tempted to buy something? Sometimes it’s just nice to look from a safe distance. Just looking.😅😃👀💸💸
...a little info about the LV store you showed and mentioned. Did you know that this specific store has been run between 1997 and 2017 AT A LOSS because of the costs! Yes, but it was so important for the brand to have this address that it was worth it! I know it from a former girlfriend who was head of the then five LV stores in HongKong, and she know that this store in the US was the only one (worldwide) that was run at a loss year after year, but the leadership was ok with that. Said that, I don't know if it was the same for any of the other high end stores or brands on the street...
My wife and I just visited today. First time since 10 years ago maybe. Lot of things still the same. What really surprised me was, with all the post covid inflation I was expecting exorbitant increases in prices for lot of the luxury items, but generally the prices remained the same for many things.
45 years ago I visited at night, it was packed and beautiful!! Now I only see regular folks, tourists!! Which means these high end stores will close soon. All people shop online, or will have private home visits for the wealthy. Sort of your own Door Dash!! Even malls are closing. Regular people go out for something to do, but only to select stores. I still enjoy Goodwill.💓😎🌴northern California..peace.
Rodeo Drive story, my mom and I were given tickets to a magazine launch of a now defunct magazine called Cookie ( it didn't have anything any recipes for home made Oreos or Snickerdoodles) ,this was in 2008, a few months before we went to Paris (becones pertinent in a little bit) and Spain on vacation. We got to Beverly Hills and parked just off of Rodeo Dr to make our way to Van Cleef and Arpels where the launch was taking place, a red brand new Mercedes parked in front of us and the driver Was the actor and rapper Romeo who's dad is rapper Master P. No I didn't get Romeo's autograph. After the launch we walked around Rodeo Dr , the pary that's just off Wilshire and went in Louis Vuitton, we walked in and walked out omn matter of 90 sec. Months later , My mom took a picture of me in front the flagship LV store on the Champs Elysees in Paris which was fine by me son6ce 1) I had no interest in going in and 2) , the store was closed anyway sonce ot was after six in the evening.
I guess my net worth is considered wealthy but I have zero interest in shopping Rodeo drive and paying retail for the privilege. I get a huge hodi todi vibe which I can not stand.
As the song goes: "Yeah I'm rollin' down Rodeo wit a shotgun These people ain't seen a brown skin man Since their grandparents bought one" ❤❤❤ Now i see what they talked about 😂
Thought after your LAX vid you'd be international by now. Aren't you pronouncing "Rodeo" wrong? 🤣 Did this walk years ago, very nice place, but very pricey. Parked by the cupcake place because I could afford one of those. I bought my Patek Philippe in Thailand, much cheaper.😁

Yup! A Rodeo Drive institution!
Simply enjoyed this tour. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated! ❣

Thanks Jeff! The Yellow Rolls Royce is still around. It just wasn't there the day I shot this
Thanks for the tour. Never had a chance to go. Do locals go often? A lot of the stores are similar to the ones at Ala Moana and Waikiki.
Hey Chris. Nah. Locals don't go here much. It's fun every 5 years or so :)

Indeed. It is reminiscent of a European shopping street

@@YellowProductions there is one in Fort Worth and I’ll be there this week!
This is made on 12/22/16 to celebrate the anniversary of the Yellow Productions channel. I am so happy
The hotel is Regent Beverly Wilshire.
Thanks for the correction
Funny I lived in LA for 8 years and didnt have the chance to visit this place until last week. lol
LA is a big place!
How does Rodeo Drive compare to shopping in London New Bond Street?
My wife and I just visited today. First time since 10 years ago maybe. Lot of things still the same. What really surprised me was, with all the post covid inflation I was expecting exorbitant increases in prices for lot of the luxury items, but generally the prices remained the same for many things.
Best to park underground in lots
I just got home from a trip to LA, and I visited Rodeo Drive. Such a beautiful place especially as a GTA player 😂.
8:54 you Kris Jennered us here 😂

At what point in this video is the shop visited by Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman? Or was that a Hollywood set?
The rent must be in the high five figures monthly in the Rodeo neighborhood!
I don't understand why it's so popular. Just a bunch of overpriced shopping. Thanks for the vid, I know I'll never visit :)
Exactly where I’ll leave when I grow up
Been there done that
Why would anyone live in the snow as an adult when this beautiful place exist. America at its best

That and Hollywood Blvd are where locals are never seen. I'm sure all cities have these tourist traps.
8:25 she had earbuds in
You tease. Now I want to go to Beverly Hills. lol The only people that can afford to shop there are IT Professionals. hee hee :-)
Rodeo drive was like meh . it was not what I imagine or what I was looking for … I rather stay at Disney and eat Mexican food 🤷♂️
