I was in Guanajuato for the Thanksgiving break and visited several other cities/towns while there, including Leon, San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo and Atotonilco. I would have to say that the city of Guanajuato is much prettier and there are way more things to do. It is one of my top places to visit in Mexico, right there with Mexico City, Playa del Carmen, Oaxaca and Merida.
I hope more people discover how great Guanajuato is. Of course, at the same time wishing that it doesn't lose what makes it so appealing. Thank you for watching and for the comment!

We loved Guanajuato! We also went to Diego Rivera’s house, which is now a museum. There was also a beautiful municipal building in the middle of the town. We skipped the mummy museum. That is not for me. Where are you off to next? Happy travels.

Wow! This city seems like a must stop. The mummy museum looked so interesting and the view of town from the hill was unbelievable!
There is so much there! From the Mummy Museum, to the funicular, to those tunnels. I so wish that I had stayed there longer!
I could live there! its on my list for the very near future!
