Hi Stuart it is hard to tell if you have over tighten it . Precor had a belt tensioner 20 years ago. Now it is best if you let it slip a little? Then tighten it until the slip goes away
My treadmill belt is in the middle when not in use, but when I run on it after about a few minutes it is on the right scraping the edge making a high pitched whirring sound - any reason for this? I think it’s how I run, but based on this, anything I can do to counter balance this? Or is it safe to not do anything? Should I add more lube? Should I adjust the belt to always go to the left?
One more question. My Sole F85 is creaking like a door when raising the incline. It sounds like the frame and not the motor. Do I need to lubricate the pivot points where the deck inclines?
Hi. I have a 2019 Sole F80. I'm 5'9" and weigh about 175 lb. I have the treadmill on a concrete floor with a thick durable foam pad between the treadmill and the floor. When I run at a 7 mph speed, it is super loud, like ~83 decibels. The sound seems to be mostly my foot hitting the tread mill belt. It seems crazy loud for a treadmill of this quality. Any ideas on what it could be?
I would start with the bolts that hold the base frame to the incline frame. I would also check the screws that mounts the deck to the deck cushions to start
Thank so much for your videos. This solved my belt slipping problem that’s been annoying me for months.

Well yes ! But I would also see my video called squeaking noise on a sole treadmill. To see some more areas that may need lubing
