Friends, this is such a great recipe for the fall and winter. Hope you love it as much as I do! What are some other easy, one-pan chicken recipes you love? Let me know! xo - Lisa
Hi Lisa! Just subscribed. My apologies for asking about a past recipe on a new post, but I need your help before a party. I bought "Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Hulled Sesame Seeds, 2 Lbs - Perfect for Tahini | Gluten-free | Raw" from Amazon to make your tahini sauce. I keep reading that I should soak or rinse sesame seeds before toasting to remove any dirt, sand, or rock debris. Do you do that? If so, how do you get the seeds dry again for toasting? Thank you!
It's so easy to make, but super fancy! Being Italian-American 🇮🇹 from NYC 🗽 this was all the rage in the 1980's-90's. As a kid back then, I just KNEW I was "sophisticated" ordering this when dining out at a restaurant with Family. It's delicious, but probably not ideal for a non-mushroom Foodie 🫤 The playing was perfect; with the fresh green beans & homemade mashed potatoes!

Marsala wine freezes well. I portion it out in the amount required in the recipes so I can use it when I want to make chicken marsala. I do the same thing with white wine for cooking.
Marsala wine comes in two types; sweet & dry. If I'm not mistaken, sweet was used here...and for the upcoming recipe of "Zabaglione," sweet MUST be used, as it's a dessert. Try it!
@@Downshiftologyme tooo!!!I never have a thought it won’t be good, your recipes are amazing and I’m healthy eating all the way-and gotta make the mash potatoes-I steam my potatoes instead of boiling them or I’ll boil them in chicken broth(low sodium) full both or 1/2 water 1/2 broth
I’ve tried several times to replicate the Chicken Marsala from my favorite restaurant, but I believe I’ve never been able to because I don’t use the exact Marsala wine that they do. Excited to try this recipe again with the wine you linked but it’s sold out for now.
An interesting recipe! I love "Scaloppini al Marsala"! However, I prepare them completely differently, but that doesn't matter now. My tip for parsley: Always cut immediately before use and do not leave it lying around, otherwise it can develop a grassy taste. 👍
The white-on-white of your kitchen is really intriguing! The orientation of the island with the back counter and their respective lengths also creates an intriguing work triangle with the refrigerator, (which isn't seen). I would find it extremely inspirational if you could tumble in a few design details; (or show visuals) into your future videos on how you work with and especially the how and why of your design thinking if you created your own kitchen space! Tks!
I hope to make a video with a kitchen tour and home tour in the future. Once I'm done furnishing this place! And hopefully that's sooner rather than later, haha.
Yummy. Definitely a favorite in my house. I make a sausage-stuffed mushroom recipe that uses Marsala, and often use it in my turkey gravy if I don't happen to have any sherry on hand. BTW, the "G" in zabaglione is silent. 🤫😉
While I haven't tried this, I've heard grape juice could work. Or a combo of chicken stock and balsamic vinegar (like 1/2 cup and 1-2 tablespoons). Hope that helps!
@@Downshiftology UPDATE: I ended up trying this dish with grape juice and it worked just as well. It was absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing this dish. 😊

I currently live in Japan, and I missed this dish so much! I'm not sure if I could find cremimi mushrooms, so I might have to do a Japanese fusion with shimeji mushrooms. I can see if my local Don Quijote has marsala wine or any specialty international food store. 😭

Hello from Bombay (Mumbai) India! My partner and I are great fans of your channel and enjoy making (and eating!) your wonderful salads and chicken dishes. However, we dont get Marsala wine in this country. Would Harvey's Bristol Cream sherry be a good substitute? If not, what would you suggest?

Hello, is there an alternative to Marsala? I know its key, however, its really difficult to get in my part of England and when I have seen it on line, it is extremely pricey and I would rather not have to buy a whole bottle for one meal. I have been watching you and your recipes for years and have made many. You have such a relaxing calm presenting style too. Any help would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, mushrooms are the main ingredient in this dish. I'd recommend making one of the other chicken recipes I mention at the end of my video instead.

At first glance I read chicken masala which is a full spicy dish of Pakistan but when I saw it, it was totally different, it can be tried.
