Judith Fenske : Dollar Tree 🌲 and Dollar General usually have them in Spring and Summer in different sizes. I have some with and without handles for drinks and still can use them with lids. Small salt and pepper shakers also.
I like that you’re in an apartment because I am too and all those other organization videos (which are great), have so much more space than I do. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
In my small coat closet turned into a pantry with shelves I used a clear see through over the door shoe holder. It holds my tin foil and baggies and such. Also easy snack area for grandkids. Extra spices. Rolled kitchen towels. So much more.
Do u put ur spices on that magnetic stove shelf ? My spice bottles get SO HOT when I use my oven, I've been wondering if thats ok or not for the spices to heat up like that
@@bridgettdent4416 The spices are likely losing their potency or 'flavor' much faster than normal and they are probably subjected to greater moisture than sitting in a cabinet somewhere. Ideally would be a cool dry place but I mean if you don't think its a big problem then it doesn't really matter
I really love some of these ideas and will be implementing them in my small kitchen. (Some, I've already incorporated for years!) One thing I do that might be helpful...I use command hooks on the inside of an upper cabinet door and hang my measuring spoons and cups (with handles) separately on their own individual hook. One, it gets them out of a drawer. Two, I can easily locate and use the measurement tool I need without having to take them off of a ring. Three. I can hang multiples of the ones I use frequently in a same recipe (ie tsp, tblsp, cup, and half cup) to speed up prep time.
Great idea ! I’ll have to do that, mine are a tangled mess in my , few and small drawers in my equally small kitchen LOL 😆. Thanks for sharing that ! God Bless !
I would switch dishes and coffee mugs with the food cabinet. I would set up my food in baskets at the entry, setting it up like a market, and even label that area as the market. For sanitary reasons I don’t like dishes and cups exposed.
She's great..good practical ideas. I've moved into a very small kitchen. One of the smallest I've ever been in ..you have given me ideas that are not always picture perfect but they work!
Ladies, when you’re young and just starting out you do the best you can with what you have. I commend this young lady. She also want ideas and said leave them below. ✌🏾and happiness
1. I keep all extra cutlery and dishes for when I have people over, in the dinning room. 2. I have a lazy susan in my pantry because its very deep, and the stuff in the back would get lost. 3. ‘Depotting’ all your ingredients into jars that are alike, makes your kitchen look way better, and forces you to remember what you have. 4. Plan. For example, how often do you wish to go to the supermarket, and how often do you drive by a supermarket? I plan my groceries shopping to cover me for that time, so I don’t have to keep extra food around that ai don’t know when I’ll use.
I hung a grate from the ceiling above my kitchen sink in my apartment using S hooks to hang all my pots, frying pans and all their lids. This freed up one entire cabinet space to use for other things. It was the best organizational investment I made for my small kitchen.
Hi good on you, awesome ideas 💡. I live in the tropics so heat and dust are bad here . Always cleaning top of fridge and upper cabinets . Good hack is I store all my flours , breadcrumbs, baking stuff icing sugar etc in zip lock bags in the freezer shelves it’s so much better and freed up space .Also lasts for ages no more weevils or bugs 👍👍
If you have Sil-Pat or other silicone baking mats, you can roll those around your rolling pin so that they’re all taking up the same amount of space together.
Mikki Wachtel My silicone mats are only used in certain one quarter sheet pans I put the mat in the pan once they are both dry and they stack on their sides. But, I use a wine bottle for rolling out stuff.
I use large shallow plastic containers in my lower cabinets to make pull out drawers. I am building an appliance tower for all my appliances, so I can keep essential ones plugged in and ready to use but out of sight. Only 18” wide, but to the ceiling. Love your ideas!
Great tips! My kitchen isn’t small, but it’s awkwardly arranged. I can use several of these tips. Your video also reminds me of my old single days in tiny apartments. Enjoy this phase! 🥰
Aw, thanks for your kind words!! Awkward space can be just as difficult as small space! My bathroom, for instance, is huge, but most of the space is taken up by where you open the door so there's not a lot to be done with it!
I have a small bathroom. I hung a $3 frosted basket (Target), big enough for two rolls of toilet paper (and space for mini-pads) right above and slightly in front of my toilet. It’s low enough to reach for the new roll of tp while I’m sitting down.
My best tip from my first kitchen which was ridiculously tiny (about 20 square feet): I decided to only keep things in the kitchen that I needed for cooking, not for eating/drinking. Plates, silverware, mugs, coffee machine... all of that was on a shelf next to my dining table in another room. It looked strange because we are told to keep this stuff in the kitchen, but the dining area is really where you are using it, so why not keep it there?
I had downsized to small apartment and not enough space for the things I have for kitchen. I want to get a kitchen hutch and place all my cooking pans and dishes there. I will do like you, only keep what I need for cooking in my small kitchen.
smts1966 check out consignment shops that have furniture (not all do) for hutches. Another option for plates, linens, and the like, is a dresser, similar to what our grandparents used to use. If kept outside the kitchen, it fits lr/dr decor better than a wire rolling stand.
The paper towels....at Walmart you can get one that mounts under the cupboard above you sink and the roll has a mechanism that allows you to only get one at a time without unrolling the whole thing...and you can do it one handed😊👍
I currently have a cart that has a tablecloth covering my juicer, breadmachine, blender, food processor, and toaster oven. Would love an appliance garage but this keeps them accessible and dust free. Sadly it now lives behind dining table, but #smallkitchenmeansnospace
If you use them often enough to need to be stored where they’re really easy to access, they’ll probably not get too dusty between uses. If not, you’re probably right that this solution won’t work for you. I’d recommend the back of deep shelves or the top shelf in a closet for rarely used bulky things.
@@notavailable5911 they make covers for my mixer... toaster... blender.. by now the my have added more appliances. Sooo just wash in the hottest setting possible!
Potatoes and onions should be kept closer to the floor so they are cooler. Top shelf in cabinet is too warm, potatoes will not last. Very nice video and wonderful ideas!
Be sure to not store food directly on the floor. Very unsanitary even in the cleanest of kitchens. This point is driven home over and over in safe Serv classes for getting your food handlers card.
@@flaminggale4344 Really? You think that's something I hadn't considered? Perhaps companies should put their measurements correctly on their online advertisements.
I actually have a similar lower cabinet situation (with the shelf in the back). I use the shelf to store my toaster, blender, crock pot, and waffle iron. I installed two drawers on the bottom part of the cabinet, and I use that as my pantry space. It cost about a $100 dollars, but it was totally worth it!
When I was younger and poorer, I used large produce boxes, like the big green ones at Aldis. I covered the fronts with matching paper and put my things inside. I could get to the stuff at the far back and it was free, plus they're Very sturdy. They lasted over 10 years of me living in that house.
@@kyfarm yes - I was about to suggest something similar: for people who cannot install drawers (due to financial restraints, rental units/restrictions, or simply don't have the skills/tools) you can create "drawer alternatives" such as totes, baskets, bins, or even a good size cardboard box (bonus: make it look nice by covering it with adhesive shelf liner paper / contact paper)!!! I use a shoe box to keep all my popcorn making supplies. And in my deep corner cabinet, where things get shoved to the back and disappear forever, I use white plastic dish tubs to store less-frequently used things, but they're easy to locate and retrieve, since everything stays contained. I also put a battery operated "puck light" in that cabinet.
Wow! Lots of great ideas! Love the Joseph Joseph cutlery tray! I have two kitchen drawer units on casters which make a very useful island, 4 drawers each. Moving next week and this will be the 4th time they save the kitchen storage. And my new apartment has a linen closet - it will be the Pantry. Maybe a few linens ... You're doing fine ( love the outtakes 💖). I DO suggest moving your plates into the kitchen though. Really, *really* don't like all the outside hall dirt coming in & landing on your plates & mugs!
@UCcIdONgY480Lhn65br5nWEg Hi Laura! I just returned from the store. I've got my hooks and I'll be getting started on hanging my kitchen utensils under the cabinet as you did. And I'm doing the same arrangement on the large pots and smaller ones on the door. You've inspired me. 😊👍😊
Thank you so much for these ideas. I don't really have cabinets like yours (mine are two-level that go all the way to the doors), so I can't really hang baskets or stuff on the back of the doors without losing shelf space. I also don't have space above my cabinets (I sure wish I did!), although I'm getting older and not as agile (and bad knees) so climbing step ladders is not an option for me anyway, lol. My entire wall behind my single countertop is backsplashed tiles, so the idea of Command Strip Hooks is one I will definitely be using for my utensils! Love the spice rack idea too.... if I can find one that I can attach to the tiles. Definitely going to take more advantage of the over-the-fridge space too! Thanks for some GREAT ideas!!! Just one question.... are you related to Joan Cusack? You kind of remind me of her! LOVED the bloopers.... this whole video made me feel like I was watching a REAL person rather than some unattainable June Cleaver of kitchendom! TFS!
My husband and I just downsized to senior apartments and the kitchen is half the size as my old one. Your video, as well as a some of the other comments below, gave me some great ideas on how to get it organized. Thank you!
Small kitchen here, too. I use a large but cheap basket on top of fridge for bags of chips and snacks. A peg board is handy for everything from pans to strainers, colanders, etc Also a tall and wide over-the-door shelf baskets holds many canned goods or any shelf foods that are easily accessible and hidden out of the way on back side of kitchen door. A floating shelf is holding my electric water kettle and spare utensil holder. I store dish cloths and pie crust cloth in my clear round cake cover inverted. I store torani syrups ( or wine)in their boxes under my 5 gallon drinking water in the water's wood stand. And store pots/pans on large s/s hanging pot rack. Plus hanging wine glass rack frees up tons of cabinet space. Vertical or bust, right??
I use the borrow from your neighbours tip in my place. I live alone in an apartment with a tiny kitchen and cause my linen closet is right next to my kitchen I use a shelf to keep my bulky appliances I don’t use all the time (crockpot, stand mixer etc). It works perfect cause I live alone so the appliances fit easily and aren’t taking up valuable real estate in my kitchen cabinets / on my benches
This was by far the best video I have ever seen for small kitchen organization and addressing the no pantry issue! Love it and learned a lot. Just moved my instant pot, my cupcake caboodle and my cake caboodle to the top of my fridge Thank you!
Don't feel bad I had a whole set of those "airtight" containers from Oxo, they are NOT airtight. I gave them all to my friend who really wanted them and switched all my storage to glass. It's healthier for us and the environment. Plus it actually IS airtight. Great video. Thank you. You gave me some new ideas. :)
I really like mason jars because you can vaccum seal them using a canning lid attachment. A little time consuming but if you have large amounts of baking ingredients to use on occassion it keeps them fresh between uses.
The thing I worry about with glass is that I had a storage container made of blue glass and I used it for sugar. One day I noticed a crunch in something I was eating, and it was blue shattered glass. This container was very sturdy, too. So I have no idea how that happened but it was startling.
@@kathleenlastname9171 wow! Was it an antique blue glass jar? Maybe that’s why?? They are supposed to be able to St snd up Vs Hi heat I’ve had 0 problem!!
@@kathleenlastname9171 thats not good! I have cracked many bottoms of Mason jars by putting silverware in them (while in the sink before I washed them)
Most of the things I have in my OXO containers don't really need to be completely airtight (salt, white sugar, oatmeal) However, I found out NOT to store brown sugar in them because the sugar does dry out and get hard whereas it didn't it the cheap plastic container I used to have!
If you need extra shelf space, consider magnets! You can buy magnetic shelves that attach to the side or front of your fridge. Just don’t put anything too heavy in them! They make little magnetic spice jars that you can put on the fridge, too
Ooh, good idea! I keep all of mine in that drawer under the oven - I think it's actually meant for proofing, but that's where my mom and sisters often kept pans so for the longest time I would've assumed that's what it was for! ;)
@@tashalorentz3756 actually some newer ovens that drawer is for storage only. LOL I guess companies were like we're just going to put a drawer in bc no one ever uses it except for storage anyways!! I know I grew up the same way & unfortunately I can't use it with my gas oven though it's too small & it's the broiler. Thinking about getting one that's just got storage bc why not I'd rather have it just for that anyways! Much more useful IMO.
I love hanging my paper towels under a cabinet. You can also mount the paper towel holder to a wall or use a magnetic one on the side of the fridge. (They even make one with a little shelf as well!)
I love your budget-friendly ideas! Your space is so cute and I was able to get tons of good ideas for my own kitchen! Thanks so much for inspiring me when I don’t have tons of money to spend. You are so awesome!
Definitely more relatable than the Instagram perfect videos of people’s perfect kitchen organization that makes no sense how do they keep everything so clean that’s not realistic!!! Thank you for the actual useful tips !!
Oh yes I help clean out my sister-in-law's House old farm house and got lots of glass jars gallon size big mouth. I love those. Now I'm storing all my dry goods in those to keep mice out of them.
So, I am renting a small older house built in 1956. The kitchen drawers and cabinets are sticking from the amount of paint from redoing, as well as the old/tight fitting of cabinet doors. They are definitely different than the newer kitchen cabinets as well as all of the slide/pull out drawer/pull cabinet additions available. Do you happen to have any other tips and tricks beside the command hooks for storage on the inside of older cabinet doors? Some of the current recommendations are making the old kitchen doors not close. Also, how do you optimize little counter space as well as little outlet options?
Unfortunately, nothing too earthshattering down there. I don't have too many products that I store so I just set them all under. I'm very interested in some sliding drawers like these (www.amazon.com/Simple-Houseware-Sliding-Cabinet-Organizer/dp/B01N6UE7OF/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=two+tiered+basket+drawer&qid=1572297930&sr=8-5) an over the cabinet basket - or what I'd really love is a slide out trash can!! But the cabinets were too small for a hanging basket, and I'm not sure how the apartment complex would feel about me screwing in a trashcan to their cabinet lol
Terrific ideas! I just keep thinking how great the kitchen would look with some updated hardware on the cabinets. Some metal handles would really look wonderful!
This was really helpful! Thank you!🌞 One suggestion, please film under the cabinet on the left where you can't see from the camera angle. Same goes for the pantry. I would like to see it from the front.
I added Command hooks inside my upper cabinet doors. Wonderful for hanging excess utensils. Also put up a clip so it will hold my recipes. Also great for measuring cups and spoons. You did a great job with your space. It took me years to get my things better organized: so great job!
If you keep flour and other grain products near the ceiling, where heat rises, or even in a cabinet along an outside wall, especially in a warm climate, you will likely have flour weevils (aka mealy bugs), especially in the spring. I solve this problem by freezing these items for a couple of days when I bring them home. I include soup mixes, dry milk, pasta, and similar products-anything dry that's ground or processed and likely to be around for awhile-in this category. Works 100% of the time.
@@klmjtr Do you mean not in food? I had ants really bad coming in by the kitchen sink, I tried diatomateous earth and it worked for the remainder of the season. I sprinkled it where they were coming in. Feed stores sell it by the lb. Or kg for us Canadian.
Wow! I learned so much. I also have a tiny kitchen but I got some great ideas here. I especially love the top of cabinet storage idea. I have some large pots I don't use very often that I keep my potatoes in.
I love your ideas, I would add an over the sink rack, it is a game changer for prep space when limited in a small kitchen. I discovered how practical when I first tried my stations for chicken Parm prep and it cut the time down emencely. One for single sink or two for a double, I have 2 and leave one up all the time ❤️
Another good idea for corner cabinets is lazy susans since the space is a corner and a bit awkward. I have all of my oils and vinegars on one. I also like refrigerator bins for waters and sodas.
I loved my lazy Susan that somehow didn't come with me on one of my last moves. They are so handy, and my plastic one for icing cakes just isn't that good. I need to buy the wooden one from Ikea next time!
Ha. Thanks for sharing your tips. The going through our pantry and cabinets to get rid of the foods and ingredients' has assisted immensely. Of course, you'd think it's simple but the "go-go-go" life hands us at times we tend to forget the simple lol. Anyway, thanks again!

Thank you for this fantastic and most importantly realistic view of your kitchen organization! I've just moved into a 1b from a 2b apartment and am learning how to work with less counter space as well as less drawer and cabinet space in my kitchen. Your video is much appreciated!
Thank you! My husband and I are in the process of downsizing and the kitchen in our new place is much smaller and I am moving from a kitchen that we had customized for us with drawers. Glad to see your options for the base cabinets.
Hello, you can also add shelf’s in your closet to give you more space to store things. I was thinking about adding shelf’s to my hall closet for extra storage. Love the Joseph, Joseph, and storage for your dish towels. Thanks for the tips.
I would love to add some closet shelves! Unfortunately the way that the apartment already had the shelves, they have these support bars that take up quite a lot of space under each shelf - but I do think if I could find the right set it's a great idea. I'm really unsure what the intent was when this kitchen was designed for where to put a trashcan. Maybe where my coffee station is? There just isn't a great place anywhere
@@tashalorentz3756 definitely NOT where your coffee station is. Who wants to be greeted with a trash can when they walk in to visit or after work? However, under the sink could work for a small can.
I like that idea of using tension rods for hanging cups etc, but how much weight can they handle? Since I'm in an apartment, I don't want to put nail holes everywhere.
You know, I have to tell you. I have NEVER spent this much time looking at comments, and responses to comments.

Oh yes I have one for my knives butcher knives, one for paring knives underneath the cabinets and 14 other metal utensils. Very handy I love those
Only you need wall space being spaced for what you want to hang.
Where did the spice jars come from? Tiny and glass. Yes"
Judith Fenske : Dollar Tree 🌲 and Dollar General usually have them in Spring and Summer in different sizes. I have some with and without handles for drinks and still can use them with lids. Small salt and pepper shakers also.
I have been wanting to get a magnetic knife holder, too. This kitchen is even smaller than mine. I am reorganizing right now.
I JUST told my Fiancé that we should turn our small coat closet into our pantry! We live in AZ so we don't even have that many coats 😆
I loved you sharing your bloopers! They were so natural and funny I LOL.
Those clear over the door shoe holders are a godsend, whether for kitchens or bathrooms.
There's a "magnetic stove shelf" that can give you added storage. There's also a magnetic shelf that you can attach to a refrigerator.
Yes spices do go bad
I use a magnetic bar mounted on the wall above my work space for knives.
God Bless !
Love this! Thanks for sharing!
@10:55--would've been really nice to have seen a front view of her coffee bar/entryway!
I agree 100%
Thank you! It’s such an obvious thing, it makes me that “hack” really looks.
True, but I'm willing to bet that she would have had to stand out in the shared hall to film it.
Not everyone is a lady…
Thanks
@@BenSwagnerd sorry did not mean to offend ✌🏾
I loved this video because it is real life for some of us. My kitchen is a bit larger but storage space is at a premium. Thanks for sharing.
These tips are ACTUALLY useful for small space, thank you so much! also I really needed to hear that "your drawers don't need to look like art"
Mikki Wachtel
My silicone mats are only used in certain one quarter sheet pans I put the mat in the pan once they are both dry and they stack on their sides. But, I use a wine bottle for rolling out stuff.
Great tip!!! Now to find my sil pads lol I reorganized my kitchen last week. Sil pads are MIA 🤦♀️🤔
Ooo! Great idea!
I use large shallow plastic containers in my lower cabinets to make pull out drawers. I am building an appliance tower for all my appliances, so I can keep essential ones plugged in and ready to use but out of sight. Only 18” wide, but to the ceiling. Love your ideas!
Hello how are you doing 👋👋☺️👋
Love that idea
LOVE what you've done with your kitchen! I would hang the paper towels on the wall to the right of the sink to get it up and out of the way.
Your garbage bags too!! You can get a dowel or and then buy the hooked “L”bracket! Does a primo job!
6:00 is there a wood version of the Joseph Joseph silverware organizer?
My best tip from my first kitchen which was ridiculously tiny (about 20 square feet): I decided to only keep things in the kitchen that I needed for cooking, not for eating/drinking. Plates, silverware, mugs, coffee machine... all of that was on a shelf next to my dining table in another room. It looked strange because we are told to keep this stuff in the kitchen, but the dining area is really where you are using it, so why not keep it there?
Smart!
I had downsized to small apartment and not enough space for the things I have for kitchen. I want to get a kitchen hutch and place all my cooking pans and dishes there. I will do like you, only keep what I need for cooking in my small kitchen.
Great point!
smts1966 check out consignment shops that have furniture (not all do) for hutches. Another option for plates, linens, and the like, is a dresser, similar to what our grandparents used to use. If kept outside the kitchen, it fits lr/dr decor better than a wire rolling stand.
Great video! Some excellent storage tips. My kitchen is small and I’m always checking out new ideas to maximise my storage.
Glad it was helpful!
The paper towels....at Walmart you can get one that mounts under the cupboard above you sink and the roll has a mechanism that allows you to only get one at a time without unrolling the whole thing...and you can do it one handed😊👍
Andrea Read Do you remember the price?
-- it was around $10🥰
Thanks ! Gitn one !
Instead of a trash can I bought from amazon an over the door trash bag holder. Saves space
That silverware organizer is exactly what I didn’t know I needed! Just ordered! Thanks for sharing!
Me too! Love it!! I ordered the one that only holds silverware since my drawer is a bit small.
What a wonderful young lady! Instead of whining, she finds solutions.
I’d like to store my bigger appliances on top of the fridge but they have to be covered or they get really dusty.
Ah, good point! Those spaces are tricky! Thankfully a lot of my bigger appliances come with lids :)
We keep cereal up there and empty egg cartons 😂
@@notavailable5911 they make covers for my mixer... toaster... blender.. by now the my have added more appliances. Sooo just wash in the hottest setting possible!
Potatoes and onions should be kept closer to the floor so they are cooler. Top shelf in cabinet is too warm, potatoes will not last. Very nice video and wonderful ideas!
Be sure to not store food directly on the floor. Very unsanitary even in the cleanest of kitchens. This point is driven home over and over in safe Serv classes for getting your food handlers card.
She will realize that the onions are to high when they start to sprout. She is learning and that’s the way it is ✌🏾
This was incredibly informative, thank you! That Joseph Joseph drawer organizer is such an awesome item.
If it will fit. I bought one and it wouldn't for in any drawer in my kitchen.
@@chayton1001 they have one with just the utensil section too
@@jelemil That sounds good. I was thinking that a section like that could be used for cooking utensils too - or would the handles be too long?
@@chayton1001 You should measure your drawer before buying something
@@kyfarm noi
@@katiegleaves3792I like your idea! Thank you:)
She may want to look at a closed unit (either a hutch or dresser from a consignment or thrift store), rather than open shelving.
Amazing Ideas! You have given me great tips and solutions to my small kitchen dilemmas.
Especially freeing up my counter tops. Thanks a million!
Yay!!
TFS!
One of the better organizational video. Awesome job!
recycle glass jars for storage instead of plastics
Agree.
I got all my large jars from a nursing home. They are the same size as her large plastic ones and the home was fine with recycling them for me.
Mine are large pickle jars. The adhesive from the labels comes off easily with a little oil.
I use jam jars..

My husband and I just downsized to senior apartments and the kitchen is half the size as my old one. Your video, as well as a some of the other comments below, gave me some great ideas on how to get it organized. Thank you!
Nicely done and your definitely the friend I would love to help me with my kitchen to resolve my storage issues. Thanks for the storage tips.
Lovely friendly lady with a lovely normal kitchen :) this was a pleasure to watch. No extravagance, just down to earth practical guidance. Loved it.
Just bought a camper, these ideas are perfect!
That kitchen is *extremely* small. Wow! Really impressed with the organisation
Thank you so much 😊
Small kitchen here, too.
BEST small kitchen organization I have seen so far! Kudos girl! God bless
Oooh, yes, the linen closet is a great option! I don't actually have a linen closet, but I might've taken some of that space for my kitchen if I did!
They make little magnetic spice jars that you can put on the fridge, too
I need to get that. My spices are on a lazy Susan now, but it’s still a jumbled mess.
The things you get to have on your desk for file folders are great for organizing sheet pans and similar flat items.
Kristy Moore I thought it was for keeping something warm while something else is cooking but idk

I love the pot and pan storage, but after washing they are wet, so don’t I need to wait for them to dry before putting in the cabinet?

Oh yes I help clean out my sister-in-law's House old farm house and got lots of glass jars gallon size big mouth. I love those. Now I'm storing all my dry goods in those to keep mice out of them.
So do I, most glass jars and bottles are reused.
I re-use smuckers Peanut butter jars, In different sizes to give tier look.
Finally someone with a true small kitchen thank you 😊
I'm moving into an apartment that has less than half the cabinet space and no pantry. Obviously I've been stressing. This video has some great ideas.
Great video,it gave me some ideas and inspired me to solve some space problems. Thank you!

Id Love to see the coffee station head on...not just from side. Great idea.
Terrific ideas! I just keep thinking how great the kitchen would look with some updated hardware on the cabinets. Some metal handles would really look wonderful!

This video is so informative! Also, I love the outtakes you put at the end. The struggle is real 💪🏽 Thank you for all the great ideas!
I added Command hooks inside my upper cabinet doors. Wonderful for hanging excess utensils. Also put up a clip so it will hold my recipes. Also great for measuring cups and spoons.
You did a great job with your space. It took me years to get my things better organized: so great job!
So clever! I love the idea of using hooks to hang measuring cups and spoons!
This was great! I got so much from this! My kitchen is even smaller! I was used to huge kitchens until we moved to an apartments. Thank you!

Thanks for the tips and the heads up, Mary!
Bay leaves are working great here im in an old farmhouse. So many bugs!
I freeze them too. Really helps!
Jacalli do bay leaves work for ants?
@@klmjtr Do you mean not in food? I had ants really bad coming in by the kitchen sink, I tried diatomateous earth and it worked for the remainder of the season. I sprinkled it where they were coming in. Feed stores sell it by the lb. Or kg for us Canadian.
This is great and all but how do I scale this to a family of 3 or 4? (We have somewhat more space but not a huge amount)
These are some really good tips! Thanks for sharing

I used small tension rods and hooks and placed it under the cabinets
I like that idea of using tension rods for hanging cups etc, but how much weight can they handle? Since I'm in an apartment, I don't want to put nail holes everywhere.
