I use the hanging baskets under the top cabinets for getting things off the counter tops but still have them easily accesable for my disabled husband. Realising I could to that was such a gamechanger in our kitchen.
Command hooks are life! I don't have an apartment but in my small home, my kitchen is apartment sized. I like looking at tips like these to help with my cabinets (which are brand new) because I want them to look newer longer. This was a really handy video!
I remember when you used that Joseph Joseph brand spice holder when you where in your last apartment. Time flies and I am glad your back with your hubby, have another son and in your own home. So happy for you for where you are now in your life overall. Cute family! You so deserve it! 🌸 wonderful video! Full of different kitchen organizational ideas! 👏🏻🌸
1. The focus on renter-friendly solutions is a refreshing take on kitchen organization. It's evident that a lot of thought went into selecting products that are both functional and non-invasive. 👏 2. The variety of products showcased, from under-shelf spice organizers to magazine files for under-sink storage, demonstrates a comprehensive approach to tackling small kitchen spaces. The effort put into this curation is commendable. 🌟 Consider This: 1. For those who love cooking, a wall-mounted pot rack can be a stylish and functional addition to your kitchen. It's a great way to utilize vertical space. 2. If you're tech-savvy, smart kitchen gadgets like Wi-Fi-enabled scales or Bluetooth thermometers can make cooking more precise and enjoyable. 3. For small kitchens, a foldable kitchen island on wheels can serve as extra counter space when you need it and can be tucked away when you don't. 4. Consider a ceiling-mounted utensil rack. It's an unconventional but effective way to store pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials without taking up cabinet or counter space. 5. If you're looking to maximize the ability to quickly find items, home organization labels can be a valuable addition. Such labels can help you quickly identify where everything belongs, making the process of putting things away faster and more efficient.
I just got that New tape and a month ago some clear boxes. I am going to try on of your example. 🛎💡THANK YOU ❣️🤯 I like the $31 drawer that one can bend to look into. The one that doesn't fit, I also think it would so useful, it doesn't fit here either. The tea one is also very nice Can get that one either because it doesn't fit.
My apartment kitchen has, once my microwave was placed, 36” of counter space. I needed a dish drying rack. Standard ones are 18” long, leaving a puny 18” work area. I found a two tier dish rack on Amazon, which only takes up 9”. I got a separate utensil drainer that hooks on the front bar.
Thats amazing! I am moving to a new shared apartment and there is literally no storage room for me, so i saw some great hacks here. Really hope I can apply some of those to make more room :)
I rent a 3-room 320sqft studio apartment; the kitchen is a one-side galley kitchen along the walkway to the livingroom/diningroom/bedroom area. I use a paper towel holder meant to slip over the top of a base cabinet door, however I turn it 90-degrees and slip it over the outside of the wall cabinet just to the left of my stove (the bottom edge rests on the cabinet door pull). Renter-friendly, no screws or adhesive, stays in place. Slip changes of paper towel rolls over the open end at the top.
I think you missed a major feature of the Joseph Joseph lazy susan. It's flat on one side so you can fit a larger diameter lazy susan in your upper cabinet and still close the door. Lazy susans are one of my favorite organization tools.
Can I just say that you have great organizing tips and ideas? I just said it! LOL You really would be a great professional organizer! Keep up the great work sweetie!❤️
Thank you for demonstrating the correct way to remove Command hooks. Warning: do NOT buy the Dollar Tree brand hooks. They will take the wall off when removing them (found this out when getting my apartment painted). When placing your hooks inside cabinet doors, make sure they or the object your hanging clear the shelf, so the door closes properly. Pressing firmly for 30 secs and leaving them alone for an hour before hanging whatever really does make a difference in holding power.
I have two kitchen drawers that are 10 x 11. I have nowhere else to put my utensils and my silverware. Is there anything that you may have that I could use it will fit that drawer I live in an RV so my drawers are not very deep and not very wide my counter space is probably 6 inches shorter than most counter spaces cupboard syrup very high so I need things that can be put on and then drop down because I am only 4 foot 10 so I can’t really utilize the second shelf. I can’t reach it I really need help would really appreciate a reply.
@@karendewyke7194 I’m just under 5’ myself, so I can empathize about height and grasp issues. Speaking of height, can you attach things to the walls of your RV? Hanging magnetic knife holders (also good for metal spoons/spatulas and the like) might work. Can you utilize spaces outside your kitchen for kitchen utensils/appliances/non-perishables? I have a small laundry shelving stand in my coat closet that holds my Dutch oven and my rice cooker.
I was wandering if you could do some small bathroom organizing videos becouse we have a small bathroom and I'm having trouble figuring out what to use and how I could use other stuff we have a mirror med cabinet, 1 cabernet and the under the sink cabinet that's it
More than with kitchens, bathrooms are so unique that it's hard to come up with general organization tips. For instance, my bathroom has a combo shower/tub to the right of entry, but the towel bar faces it on the opposite wall, to the left of entry. I put a double hook on the wall next to the shower tile, to hold a bath towel for hair and a bath sheet for body. I put S-hooks on the towel bar to hang 2 laundry bags on (bleachables & colors). This has worked well for 6 years. Also, there are a number of configurations of organizers that slip over the top edge of doors that can face into the bathroom: single hooks, multi-hooks, hang rods, shelving, etc. Glass shower partitions can take some of these over-door hanging organizers. Shower rods can take large S-hooks or extra shower curtain hooks to hang things from. I have in my shower an adjustable tension rod from tub edge to ceiling, that has several adjustable product shelves. I hang an epoxy-coated S-hook off one of those shelves to hand my body pouf and my pumice stone. I think the tension rod would work for a shower stall. If your medicine or under-sink cabinets don't have adjustable or enough shelves, consider curtain tension rods. Two or three would provide support for boxes, bottles or jars you need to store there. Just lay them on their sides. My medicine cabinet has fixed shelves; it's oversize in height and width, shallow in depth. I use a 2-level metal-filigree spice rack to make more room for my vitamins and medication bottles. It sits on the bottom shelf.
I'm living in Australia but from New Zealand, we don't have dollar tree here! 😢 Also kitchens seem to be so much bigger over there from video Ive seen 😮
I have a large command hook outside my glass-designed front door. I must have tried to pull it too fast because now I have nothing to grab onto. So it is stuck there for good.
I said it a couple times but it depends on your cabinets, take your measurements first before you order. It was just too small for my specific dimensions
That Joseph Joseph 7 spice under shelf organizer is no longer $14.99. It’s NOW gone up to $31.75 in 4 months (end of Aug ‘23) & I really wanted it but not for that much. 😢 (being on disability really puts you in tights spots.)
Some Command Hooks have had terrible reviews (with photos!) of destroyed framed pictures falling off within minutes and crashing to the floor (and ripping off paint and plaster as they fell ,too !) For that reason I don't think I'd EVER put anything heavy or valuable onto them !
My ideas are geared towards those with smaller homes to help maximize space. I can still demonstrate how to do that even with a larger kitchen. But that being said - my kitchen is large because we tore down walls and renovated it and to be that way. Our house is small and lacks storage.

Hi catherine thankyou so much for this another great video definitely needed some of this stuff since we also have small space ❤️ have a great day
Thank you for watching!
Your kitchen is actually large.
Hi Catherine!
Hi!!
I was wandering if you could do some small bathroom organizing videos becouse we have a small bathroom and I'm having trouble figuring out what to use and how I could use other stuff we have a mirror med cabinet, 1 cabernet and the under the sink cabinet that's it
Absolutely! I do have a recent bathroom organization video on my channel but I plan to do one of this style as well!
More than with kitchens, bathrooms are so unique that it's hard to come up with general organization tips.

I'm living in Australia but from New Zealand, we don't have dollar tree here! 😢

Oh no!! Yes our new kitchen is much bigger than our old one!
I have a large command hook outside my glass-designed front door. I must have tried to pull it too fast because now I have nothing to grab onto. So it is stuck there for good.
Hi, can you also shop Ikea?
I buy everything from the container store. I know there pricey but I'm addicted to their products.😂
Same 😅 I’ll need to save up to make a video about their best organizers
A lot of people might need to declutter some of those metal water bottles, lol.
HAHA yes, it’s me! I’m people
What was the price on the paper towel holder and where is it from?
Where can i buy what you show here i cant find many things on amazon
No utility drawer? Ma’am I think you mean JUNK drawer 😂😂 Great ideas in this one!
Hahaha 🤣 yep!
H&M home?!? Only shop I have near. Any good things there?!?
I’ll look!!
12:20 and how do you close the cabinet door???
I said it a couple times but it depends on your cabinets, take your measurements first before you order. It was just too small for my specific dimensions

@@CatherineElaine even though Command have special hooks specifically FOR hanging pictures (for which I saw those reviews !)
TEMU🎉❤😂
I want to try Temu!
You should hang measure cups facing in or they can get dirty
😢
It was just an example! I didn’t leave mine like this 😊
Why do people with large kitchens claim their kitchen is small? This is the second video I have seen like this.
My ideas are geared towards those with smaller homes to help maximize space. I can still demonstrate how to do that even with a larger kitchen. But that being said - my kitchen is large because we tore down walls and renovated it and to be that way. Our house is small and lacks storage.
@@CatherineElaine I live in an 1124 square foot home. My kitchen is not even half that size.
@@OntheOutskirts our home is smaller actually! Our kitchen/dining/living area are the majority of the sq footage. Our bedrooms and bathroom are tiny
Command hooks DO NOT stay up especially in humid states
Girl, come on. That's NOT a small kitchen...
Someone is acting like they are you saying I want to talk to you on Telegram , I got that message myself.
Ugh 😩 I don’t understand why people do that!!!
