How in the world could 53 people not like this video?? What are they not liking?? I just can't imagine! I feel like there is so much wisdom here! I LOVE the self-regulation part.... I TOTALLY need that, I'm have a very intense, reactive personality, and I've been praying for more self-control... I love the picture of sitting in a rocking chair with my difficult emotions! Did you know that the act of rocking back and forth actually changes brain chemistry?? It either lowers cortisol, or increases dopamine, or both or something good like that!

She is teaching truth and kindness...the devil doesn't like either. There is people given over to evil sadly.

Thank you I watched this twice my heart sanked when my son was 2 I left crayons out and he wrote all over the walls and I reacted in such a way I’m too embarrassed to say and I appreciate the tip he is 4 now and your videos have helped me a lot to be different and I pray one day I can sit and apologies to him and he can understand. Thank you as a stay at home mom of 2 toddler boys I’ve grown and Gods put your videos so I can press in on the prayer I ask to be the mother he wants me to be for the boys he gave me.

I was never taught self regulation and never realized this until I had children. I struggle to teach them because I don't really know what to teach. I wish I had recognized this much sooner because I feel like it's too late to change what they've already learned for the last 8 & 6 years. We've been trying to learn together but it's a struggle. I try to help my daughters but once they're angry it's like there's no getting through to them. But then if I'm upset, my 6 yr old will remind me... "take 5 mommy". I feel like she helps me more than I've helped her. I won't ever stop trying to do better though.

I always start judging myself every time I hear something like this. "Our children are a reflection of ourselves." My 10 year old and his attitude is crazy but I'm nothing like that. His father is, but his dad is home maybe a week or 2 out of the month. How can we work on that. I need help.

I’ve been binge-watching your videos! You are generous and amazing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and journey. Quick question: how old do you recommend starting the kids out with the 14-day strategy you shared? As well as making bed (chores) and self-regulation? Can you please expand on your journey/experience with your kids on these aspects? Or maybe I’ve missed a video or two you’ve already done on these? If so please let me know. Thanks!

Amazing thank you Jady. And how is that your 2 year old waited patiently for you to finish for almost ten min? It’s scary how this isn’t it taught in school and the changing myself to be a good role model for my growing kids is tough. Thank you for your kind reminders and gentle way of teaching and encouraging us parents.

The bed is the first thing that I teach our children. I have bought myself a pretty bedspread that has motivated me to make my bed each day...to say thank you to the Lord for the blessing of a beautiful bed.
