- Scientists are discovering volcanoes on worlds we once thought dead. From planets and moons billions of miles away from the sun to our nearest planetary neighbour, today we are discovering volcanoes on alien worlds. Are these worlds where tomorrow we might find life? Are these volcanoes the furnaces of life?
How The Universe Works reveals our grand understanding of the universe using the latest research, the most compelling experts, and the best graphics to continue our exploration of the mysteries of the universe.

That's cool. Both literally and figuratively.
I'm willing to go on a one way journey to this moon... cause anywhere is better than here...
Thank you for making science and knowledge available to anyone interested in learning. 💜
Wonderful Documentary....😊
interesting theory, i respect that. i think this is the unique interesting channel on the whole youtube. and i mean it

Would it burn because its hotter than everything around you or would it still freeze you to death
It's insane to think our planet is the only world that harbours life.
Christians believe God would create life only on Earth, the way your father would create offspring only in your family. Finding intelligent life elsewhere in the universe would be viewed as a betrayal to Christian faith.
And you know this how?
Just look at the odds
I can't stand it when "scientists" think that all you need for life is water. Let's just forget all the chemicals you need as well as temperatures and depth of the liquid needed.
Agreed.
It's got water on that moon or planet, let's open a McDonald's. 😊
6:26 They didn't forget about that stuff
And here: 13:10
It seems kinda click-baity to not mention these are not some deep sea arctic vents. That's seems plausible and feels like it's been exploited since the thumnail doesn't mention anything about space or the universe...
So tell me then Dr. Michio why are we spending resources to explore Mars and not Europa ?
Mars is much closer to the sun than Europa
"vacuum" of space 😂. Like the vacuum of our oceans.
Does anyone actually believe there is life outside of earth?
I struggle to accept there is life on this one
@@kathrynjaneway5346 agreed
They maybe life on other planets or even moons as well.although we haven't found them
The question about life n Europa is a stupid one as Europa is way beyond the Goldie Locks Zone which I science recognizes.
