I silently laughed when you said let´s see how to remove the sensors . All kidding aside , I have never swapped or had 3 sensors fail at the same time . Good that your client has parts on hand .
I've had to do the the same job on my Volvo XC90 and the rear bumper has to be removed to get to the sensors like on the Disco 3. I had a faulty sensor. The one I bought on Amazon was the wrong part so I ended up getting a used genuine Volvo sensor on eBay and it fixed the problem.
Great job, and I hope I can fix my problem . My landrover is moody and sometimes won't crank, and radio + ac and heat don't work .parking sensor flashing
Super easy fix. Turn it on and put your ear up to each and you will hear a ticking sound from each beeper. If you don't hear anything that is the bad one.
That's another way... The only issue with some systems, is that if is detected that one sensor is faulty, the whole system is disabled... stopping activating the remaining good ones... But yes, loads of systems you can do it that way... 👍👍👍
Depends on how many sensors need replacing, where you buy them from, and who does it... Also, even though the sensors are the most common failure, you need to investigate first, in case it is something else... 👍👍👍
hello, my freelander car parking sensor eye was broken, I changed it, now there is a sound in all of them, but it still gives an error, can we reset it or what could be the problem, thank you
Again, scan the car... there is a few possibilities, anything I would suggest would be pure guess work... A scan should point you in the right direction... 👍👍👍
Hi, I had parking aid unavailable. Faults were all 4 back sensors (one of them said historic the others said intermittent). Replaced the historic, sensor that seemed to be playing up. Problem still remains. Scanned again, now says a different sensor and control module. Wiring on one sensor looks frayed. Replace wiring look next?
Hi, sorry I'm writing here, I swap cluster on mercedes w203 with cluster w209, now the problem is on cluster w209 don t show milege but everythink works, the quastion is can you add the milege from w203 cluster to w209 cluster, or maybe virginise the w209 cluster and coding , thank you, wait you reapond. I can come to you for me is no problem.
Hello, i have a similar problem, my sensors do not work in range rover sport 2009, they do not click and do not come on when reverse or button is on, moreover light on the button is still on and button do not react. I cannot connect it via the diagnostic equipment, computer just do not show this module for cumminicate. Can you help ?
@@LMAutoRepairs all of these has been already checked, can lines at the module are 2.9V, other are 12V and ground is also good, i have checked it on 2 modules
OK... The voltage at the CAN lines can be deceiving... scope would be better... if you have power and grounds, and communication lines are good at the module, that leaves a bad module as the issue...
Don't thing so.. unless you have really tiny and thin arms... To be fair, is quite straight forward, the removal of the bumper... Thank you for watching!👍👍👍
I presume you are earning a living by repairing vehicles from home by your comments that a customer brought you a bumper to remove sensors from. I do hope that you have your premises registered as a business and that you are paying business rates on the premises

Im new to range rovers and the one I've bought has parking sensor light flashing. How much does it cost for replacement sensors?
Depends on how many sensors need replacing, where you buy them from, and who does it...

Very good 👏

No resetting procedure that I am aware of...
You most likely have other issues...
Scan the car, and see what is reporting...
👍👍👍

I would say proper check/measure wiring, repair or replace...
👍👍👍
Replaced wiring harness and rear sensors, fault still remains and without parking aid :(
Stop replacing parts without actually diagnose what is wrong...
A waste of time and money...
@@LMAutoRepairs what other diagnostic is there? Codes have been read and report same thing, rear left sensor fault. Main dealer?
Have you measure the wiring from the sensor to the module?

Hi mate I have the same flashing light but my sensors all seem to work they all make a clicking but I have no beeping sound frome inside any idea?
A wiring issue?
It is difficult to say...
Scan the car and go from there!
👍👍👍
Mostly like the speaker inside the trunk. Had to replace mine on my LR3

Check fuses to start with...
If all good, check powers and grounds at the module... then communication lines...

any other way to change the sensor without removing the bumper

Guessing it's cheaper to buy second hand bumper with sensors than to buy three original sensors
😅
Indeed!...

Mines just started doing this
