Of all of the ways Colossus was animated in the X-Men universe, the way they did him in Deadpool was the most accurate to his comic-book appearance, which is cool imo. Also seeing him battle Juggernaut is a wave of nostalgia from the 90's show as well as probably one of the funniest fight scenes in any Marvel movie bc of the way they did it!

Colossus is just such an endearing character in the Deadpool movies, it feels so refreshing. He's not quipping and joking around, but he's not stone cold serious either. Well, he KIND of is, but in a warmer, more endearing way. He cares, not just about protecting people, but also about other heroes and even villains too. Plus his voice perfectly fits. I'm sure he was hell on the CG artists, but I'm glad we got a proper Colossus in movie form.

I just don’t understand how his very brief scene in X-2 got it right, then for the next few movies, got it so wrong with his overall look. He looked like an overdone T-1000 stand in. the problem with the original actor Daniel Cudmore as Peter Rasputin/Colossus is that he never sound like he was Russian he was just an American version of the character just like scarjo as black widow. he had the same issues that Anna Paquin as Marie/Rogue had when she never spoke with a southern accent. that was my only problems with the original trilogy.
Scarjo's Black Widow is Russian and in her case, it makes more than enough sense that she has no accent. Her backstory is all about being an infiltrator, being a spy etc. She was quite literally trained since she was a child. It makes total sense that they would train the accent away.

In the Comics, - his durability is easily his best stat In live-action film, - 3:33 Nega's explosion was actually quite large, yet Colossus got up instantly after to carry Nega and Dust to safety - DP Juggernaut could clear a massive hole into a bridge with a single palm, yet Colossus still got up to his feet after being rampaged. - Cudmore Colossus is also insanely durable. Sentinels could easily hit through a wall of metal Megneto placed, yet Colossus could physically compete with them.
This guy is something. He got his balls crushed, almost choked to death and took a blast of negasonic next to him, then 2 minutes later he's jogging carrying 2 women.
I love how Colossus learns from his fight with Angel Dust, she's way smaller than him yet was able to beat him not just by matching his strength but also through her agility which is why he's hot a lean build in the sequel. Must have beeb a hell of a diet.
I love the very realistic CGI of Colossus in the Deadpool films. Huge respect to Ryan Reynolds for bringing in funds for these films to make them as appealing to the fans as possible.
Spiderman is very strong and agile but there's not much he can do to really hurt Colossus. He can momentarily immobilize him with webs but if Piotr grabs one of them he can throw him to the moon. Peter can dodge all incoming blows but only one would be enough to reduce him to dust
Colossus would have a hard time getting his hands on Spider-Man, but Spider-Man isn't strong enough to do any damage to Colossus. Once Colossus gets his hands on him, it's over.
I'm glad he got a much-needed character arc in Redemption in the Deadpool movies because he deserved more speaking lines in the OG movies & he got his ass kicked way to easy in DoFP

They did everyone just awful in the x men movies but what’s worse was not having colossus fight juggernaut. He was just a cameo. Glad they finally did him Justice in Deadpool
