- Join me for a complete upper body resistance band workout to tone the arms, shoulders and upper back. It'll work your core too as you have to resist the movements by stabilising your body whilst standing- great for the core as well as super toned arms. A little warning that this one will make your muscles burn, in a lovely way of course. Suitable for all ages and levels, just adjust the band to make it easier or tougher depending on what feels right for you. Absolutely loved this one. Although I love my regular pilates teacher, she doesn’t often use the resistance band. The resistance band is sooo useful and beneficial. Especially for seniors like me. Allows a greater range of motion. 👍
I love the resistance band workouts. I do Pilates daily with you, and I always do resistance bands and the small ball workouts at least once a week.

Excellent. Caught myself in the mirror yesterday & not happy with flappy triceps even tho I’ve used weights all my life & try to keep fit but at 68yrs I need to work harder & band work will add focus. Thank you 🙏

Great session, thank you! Definitely feel it in my arms, shoulders and back. And I especially appreciate the tip on how often to do it - I try and do 30 minute cardio sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, switching between mat and standing, and do strength sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, but do something every day. I find your exercise tips and prompts so valuable, along with your playlists and tips on how often to do each type of session for best results. I appreciate you putting information in the session titles, so I can look for what I want to work on that day (cardio, strength, balance, flexibility if I’m sore or tight, etc). 👍🏻💛💚💙🤗💪🏼💪🏼

Any place that sells exercise equipment, like Walmart.
Also Amazon Basics on Amazon are reasonable.
Any local athletic/sport type shop will have them.

Hi Coach Rachel! I am a man and just saw this lesson because my grandma does this workout! I didn't think much of this so she challenged me to an armwrestle. I could not even move her arm even using both my arms together 😟

Is this OK to do for someone that has a rotator cuff injury. It feels fine at the minute but once I start lifting weights again it flares up again.
Hi there, yes this should be fine for you. Using the band you’re doing concentric and eccentric strengthening of the arm and shoulders muscles. This kind of resistance work will help rebuild your strength safely. I’d avoid the weight lifting for now as you need to give your body time to heal. Try working with the band for 3 months and see how it feels after that 😊
