Have you noticed how young these Gen Jones/X parents look? They look amazing & still have the moves! You’re only as old as you feel & these guys feel super young to me. Love them!
I absolutely love this!!! Not only are they parents… but you can also see their “Teenage Self “ come out. Hope the kids really appreciate and remember they were once their age too!! Awesome 👏🏻
The 70's, 80's and part of the 90's were the best if not the greatest ever! The music sounded and still sound better in the Night Club's, radio, tapes and vinyl! All the New Wave, Funk, Soul/R&B, Reggae, Ska, Punk, Speed Metal, Rap/Hip-hop, Rockabilly, Rock, Soft Rock and Metal. Yes even some Disco! Nothing comes close to those eras of music, especially to dance to, when guys and gals, men and women would look for a good dance partner. I still have great Night Club music on vinyl 12" to rival a music station! Thank you for the great uplifting video!
The 80's were the best time to grow up in, so good to go for a night out and just dance... all night and have fun, nobody bothered who looked like what or how somebody danced... Good times!
We often think our parents are uptight fuddy duddies who are not cool..but seeing these 80s dance offs...man they can move...such rythmn, grace and style. Impressed much😊
I was 19 in 1980, dance clubs were awesome and we all danced like this back then. I was born in 1961 and I am 63 now but can still dance like it's still the 80s, just not as long 😀
I absolutely love these videos! The music was fantastic and you can see they're transported straight back to their youth when dancing. Bloody brilliant x 👏🥰
That's exactly how I would put it. I can see nights out and the next day getting ready for work, laughing with my sisters, rushing out the house. It's not just the one memory it's all of it.
The New Wave music of the 80s was the best. Most of the women are dancing the exact same way I danced: lean in and kick out! (See also Molly Ringwald in Breakfast Club.)
Well I can 2 step, waltz, and a little break dance, but I probably wouldn't get back up from that these days. These were all pretty accurate from what I remember.
@@OurBNetwork Pretty good representation here of a realistic crowd back in the day. "Situation" came from Yaz's 1982 album "Upstairs at Eric's" which is a key '80s New Wave reference. One of the duo was a member of Depeche Mode - too many to list but "People are People" was big in clubs a couple years after this. 😎✌️ ua-cam.com/video/MUijJbEyMiI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

First dad was a boss
You can tell he was the man in his day.
Oh yeah! He still has the moves 🕺
Dad : How do you think you got here 😎
He definitely still has it going on.
🤩💯
I absolutely love this!!! Not only are they parents… but you can also see their “Teenage Self “ come out. Hope the kids really appreciate and remember they were once their age too!! Awesome 👏🏻
So awesome! You can see them become young again in that moment ❤

All of these are so re-watchable. They are so happy to show off their moves

Pity that the huge banner obscures their faces !!!
Most annoying, put me off watching
You'll be ok
I thought the same thing I want to see their faces.

Loved the 80s! Simpler times and great music!
We are so lucky to be teen in the 80s. I would never change my birth year. Best decade ever , exp 80-85

My grandma graduated in 1927, my dad in 1957 and me in 1987- the I messed it up with my son- 😅
Love it! I'm glad I grew up in the 70's and 80's
That lady at the end is legend. Did my exact moves back then.
She was like, "Shit, honey! I was just dancing like this 5 minutes ago!"
One of my favourite tracks and yes we danced like this all night at least 3 nights a week plus it only cost £8 including the taxi home 😂😂
lol @ Taxi and not Uber 😂
@@natalyd9674 there was no such thing as uber then🤣🤣 we had to stand in line for the next cab to come 🤣
Should bring all these folks together for a dance party! I bet they would have a blast!💥
Last mom in the burgundy, gone girl 😂❤️
Everyone I watch leaves me with a smile😅.
It's like riding a bike. It all comes back to you 😂❤ We all danced similar in the 80s
Yup you never forgets
Riding a bike lol.
Yes!!!!
Keep dancing folks and using all the great moves. Excellent for fitness and mental health too. 😊
Man merkt wie Sie glücklich sind und mit der Musik in die Zeit zurückreisen wenn Sie tanzen. Super !!
I absolutely love these videos! The music was fantastic and you can see they're transported straight back to their youth when dancing. Bloody brilliant x 👏🥰
Great moves everyone! Thanks for the smiles y'all gave me! The Dad at 2:18 was my fave - Happy 4th! OX
Yessss his dancing was great!
The sequin dress mom never danced in the 80s, she was under the bleachers with the quarterback….
The fist lady had that “Solid Gold Dancer/The Go Go’s moves
That first guy was incredible!! they were all good though
Look how they all grin and have fun. I’m grinning, watching, remembering.
Awesome parents awesome 80s❤
Fantastic. And you never need a duck face and duck tail😂🎉
How I wish I never “ran away “ from the 80”s…best musical decade ever!
I simply adore the one at 0.52. You can see that she tries to remember
Going through brain rolodex
ANYONE ,What is the name of that song ??The golden getting into it w/ lady was sweet..
Small Town Boy by The Bronski Beat. I think the “Age of Consent” was one of the best albums of the 80’s!
Makes me feel..... Homesick
That's exactly how I would put it. I can see nights out and the next day getting ready for work, laughing with my sisters, rushing out the house. It's not just the one memory it's all of it.
they're all on fire! so great 😁
Small Town Boy--Bronski Beat They have Happy Feet!!
thanks 🫶
Dang! We had it going on. I'm so proud to be part of that era! 70s & 80s. Dance on sisters and brothers.
@1:13 that shipped sailed a long time ago. Those boots and that dress 😂😂😂
Da kommen Erinnerungen in mir hoch und ich tanze immer noch so wie in den 80ern!🎉❤
Why the hell is that banner covering their faces???😡
Barefoot sweatpants guy in his glorious wine room.........
Mom @00:28 secretly fanned farts on the dance floor 😂
😆 don't do that
My thoughts exactly!
At the very cusp of Gen X here. 🙋🏼♀️They still got it and they all look great for Gen Xers as well!! ❤
Thank goodness there isn’t a big yellow heading covering their faces. lol
I was either slam dancing or country line stepping.
Long sleeves killed it!
For sure
Uh yeah, this explains everything about how I still dance 🤣🤣
The first dad was getting down! Forsure he was a stud and pulling ladies back in the day
White kids could move in the 80s because that Bogota Bullion was raw uncut and in everythinggggg no cringe no bones just a slave to the synth babyyyy

Bronski Beat!!!!
The yellow bug letters is a joke?

I want to see these ppl’s faces not, “80s Dance Challenge” editing priorities, mate!
Aside from that terrible decision this was very enjoyable.
lol 80s
I don’t see anybody doing the cabbage patch
I have no idea how Gen Z youngsters dance these days. Is it very different? Are there any videos?
