Saw these guys open for Clapton when I was 25 about 8 years ago, my ex and I were the youngest one there. They played this song. I was the only person in the crowd that hopped up and freaked out that they were playing a Dead song. The older folk and my ex looked at me like I was a mad man. Long live Los Lobos and the Dead!
We have seen Bertha almost every time Los Lobos has played in the Twin Cities area.So many venues over the years, it's like a beautiful heartbeat dancing great time every time.Thank You !
Los Lobos are bloody amazing. Hildago is a tremendous player. Any style of music or, any degree of difficulty...they knock it out of the park. To think that I saw this band playing in a Vancouver club that held maybe 200 people in 1981...
Have had the pleasure of working with these guys a number of times, hands down some of the nicest, most humble musicians I've ever worked with. Put on an amazing show and go above and beyond every time.
Ya know I never really listened to them until I listened to Deadicated , and I just watched the video, it brought tears of joy to my eyes 🤘🤘💯💯 they're really good 😊
they played buffalo ny a cpl yrs ago for free and thunder and lighting shut dwn the show so being as cool as they r they took it around the corner to the tap room( lil bar ) just rocked it I didn't go bcuz of rain ......buddies of mine did they rocked it all nite wtf that's cool as hell in my book !!! cool band
As much as I love Los Lobos this Bertha/Good Lovin from duke 78 has some pep in its step. Give it a watch and tell me if you agree ua-cam.com/video/FWg8xmf4zoM/v-deo.html
One of the greatest American bands of all time. Still killing it
These guys have flown under the radar and been making beautiful music for decades. Consummate professionals.

Look for the documentary filmed in the early/mid-70s but released around 79/80 that captures the original days of Los Lobos. It's fantastic!

One America’s greatest homegrown bands. ViVa Los lobos
Wish Los Lobos would play more of the GD's music today!
They play Not Fade Away and Bertha regularly.
@@Victusprouser NFA isnt a dead song, it's a buddy holly song
They released a cover of "West L.A. Fadeaway" on their 2010 album, Tin Can Trust.
@@Steely_Fran Thanks for the heads up, will check that out!
@@rperkins723 No problem. I'm glad I could help out a fellow Grateful Dead and Los Lobos fan.

Loved the Furthur fest and Hidalgo a beast on guitar
both he and Rojas are great players . . . Los Lobos is still one of the USA's best bands . .
DH doesn’t get nearly enough love. He’s one of the most underrated guitarists ever.
We call him The Franchise
The greatest living band in the USA.
Great version of Bertha!

One of the few bands that can pull off GD covers.
As well as Brian Wilson's Sail On Sailor. They do a fantastic job with that song also.
Thank's...Like this much
Awesome! 😊
I love the Deadicated album.
I watch and listen to Conrad play and I wonder why I never hear kudos for him?
Seriously. He's really good, and always seems to be having the time of his life onstage.
Incredible

Interesting statement. Curious if you ever saw the Dead play?

Love how Hildalgo dressed as Jerry -
Wearing a black shirt and jeans means dressing like jerry?
Santa is totally copying his beard also
Close your eyes...and imagine it's Jerry and Bob☮️🎼🎸😊

Very fun piece, but my jaw is hanging watching that bassist. Good grief . . .
これだけふっくらと間の取れるロッカーはいない、No1ロッカー・イン・アメリカ!!!
The drummer on the left looks a lot like Mickey. ?^)
Victor Bisetti, I think.
