I got a Berkey over a year ago. We were buying bottled water and wasting money and plastic for years. The Berkey was a great investment. Just make sure you follow the filter instructions and regular cleaning and it will be your best friend! 🤗

We will be doing a much needed kitchen remodel. Our kitchen is from the 70s so it needs to be updated. We bought our house 5 years ago so i have been patiently waiting for this redo. Im also going to be doing a big purge this spring ☺️

I really wish I had the energy and inspiration to start spring cleaning too. It one of my Favorit things to do!!
But because I have several autoimmune illnesses that have got much worse this year.
I haven left the house more than 10 times in 2 years because I’m on chemo.
I lost my mom a year ago so I sat by her deathbed and organized and attended her funeral, and have been to a few doctors appointments.
I’m also in chronically pain from a botched surgery in 2010 and unfortunately is on disability because of that ,with a very low income.
The last month and a half I have had a serious sinus infection that has spread to my ears, eyes and my nose ( made a hole in my nose wall ..
I’ve been completely bedridden for two months now..
It’s still a lot of snow here too and very cold😭
Usually my daughter and I do the spring cleaning in the mid of march as her birthday is on the 26th and mine on the 28th, so we like to celebrate on the 27th in a clean beautiful house.
Ceiling, walls, cupboards , appliances and everything usually gets cleaned . We change out sofa covers, curtains and rugs, throws and throw pillows and buy lots of spring flowers to decorate .
This year with my illness and my daughter just loosing her babies two weeks ago which was beyond horrible😓 ( she had a multiple pregnancy that went wrong and she had to remove the deceased fetuses)
she’s still full time in school and work two jobs, so seeing her hurt both mentally and physically makes my heart bleed🥺
we also had to put our 14 year old dog down after a stroke ended him up paralyzed three weeks ago .
Several of our 6 cats have also needed to go to the vet costing us over $1000, so my savings are now all gone.
It’s all very scary…
These last few months have really been overwhelming😥
The price of electricity has increased with from 6 cent per kWh to $1kwh after Christmas this year , gas prices are now doubled to $12 a gallon.
It’s crazy here in every way.
Depression , illness and economically challenges like we have never seen before are devastating
So I don’t know if we are able to do our beloved spring cleaning or birthday party this year.
I really only want to stay in my bed all day long😓 so does my daughter💔💔💔
Usually we have a small garden too, but if our health does not improve soon I’m afraid that won’t happen, even though that would have helped economically and it’s such a miracle to watch little seed become lots of delicious food.
Sorry for the rant , just had to get it out somewhere😰

I had the worst morning sickness ( all day sickness) and ate bagels every day both times. I have two kids and wash laundry once a week. I feel like that is rare. Why do you wash laundry every day? Is it because you prefer smaller loads? We only ever have 4 loads and then bedding if we wash bedding that week.
I’m sorry you had morning sickness as well:( praise God for bagels! Lol also I don’t necessarily wash everyyy single day… but regularly! I guess we create a lot of laundry?! It makes it easier for us to do small loads and weirdly enough, Dan actually likes it this way too:)
So happy to watch your videos! Your house is looking amazing!! Did you ever do a before and after video? I’m excited to paint my party door a forest green color and add knobs to my white kitchen cabinet. Some have those long thin gold ones but I’m adding marble and gem ones to the others. Kind of boho-y I guess. I got the idea from Selena and chef show on HBO max. Her kitchen is so pretty! Have a wonderful spring break:)

Home made pie crust is the best! Well…I’m a big homemade food tasting the best lol also i want To do garlic this year and this is giving me hope lol that maybe i can Grow some haha they looked so cute and can’t wait to see y’all harvesting it later on.

Lmao it’s hilarious to me that you mention the bagel because I went from never eating breakfast to having to have something basically right after I wake up to stop the nausea and my go-to was/is a bagel. My house needs a good all-around cleaning but I have zero energy and zero motivation 😩🤣🤣so that will be my spring project probably lol slowly but surely
