I've renovated 3 houses while living in them and girl, it's the worst. I hate living in a construction zone, and with dust and everything so unorganized! It makes you crazy. You guys are getting very close, it'll start turning a corner and you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel! It is nice living in a house that you made your own, just that much more satisfying.

I think the cabinets will turn out great! The table looks beautiful! The cookie dough looked delicious. I love making my chocolate chip cookie recipe and it has oat flour. A little hardy and good. I hope you and your family have a great week!

Ooooh good to know! I tried the fermented salsa from them and didn’t love it… I think it scared me from trying more! But you’ve just inspired me! Lol
@@NikkiPhillippi Yeah I wasn't crazy about the salsa either. The pickles are really good though. They also do a cranberry chutney in around Thanksgiving that is amazing!

This might be a weird compliment but I’ve always loved the way you chop things 😅 it makes all your food look so rustic and homemade and also has motivated me to not worry about perfection as much when I cook so I’ve been more bold and enthusiastic when I cook! 🙌

Don't you love all the little coffee shops in north Idaho and hows there's not a Starbucks on every corner. There's this one in hayden called milk and honey. And oh my goodness their pistachio frap with white coffee is so amazing!!!

My appetite gets really funky and it's hard to eat when my B12 is low and also if I am processing a lot of emotions. Praying it gets better for you! I know how hard it is when something as human as eating becomes a challenge, especially if cooking is something you enjoy too.
Edit: Question for you, you have mentioned a lot that items were left in Nashville. Does this mean you don't have them anymore at all or you have them but that would require going back and hauling everything to your new place and that just isn't possible for right now?
Dude. It’s totally emotions that have knocked my eating/appetite off! I know now that anxiety does that to me… I just forget cuz it’s been so long since that’s been an issue…
Also in regards to the stuff not moving… it’s a combo of a few things actually… miscommunication with the moving company (😞) and also not ordering the right amount of moving pods….& not feeling like we had the time or money to change things… being “cancelled” literally exploded my whole world… I was mentally and emotionally a mess and so we made some decisions that in retrospect we wouldn’t have made…but we were just doing our best at the time…🤷🏻♀️ it’s fine cuz I know it all worked out how it should… but it’s still surprising sometimes realizing how much we don’t have with us here now😬☹️
@@NikkiPhillippi Moving under that level of anxiety and pain is unimaginable. Moving, especially moving to another state is hard enough as it is without all the added chaos that was going on. I’m sorry things got left behind. Something you actually helped me recognize in myself through your videos was recognizing how much my home impacts me and provides a lot of joy and peace. It’s not at all about the things themselves exactly but about the habits or atmosphere your home gives back to you. When you put so much thought and time cultivating a home with things that bring you joy like plants, a smoker/bbq, or a musical instruments not having your home feel like home effects us homebody people more.
I had to move in with my mom due to the craziness of 2020 and the lost of income and so literally my whole life sat in the garage and it took me a while to realize that I emotionally never felt at home, like I would be in my home, there. I was incredibly grateful to have a place to stay but allowing myself to see “oh, I’m really sad that I probably won’t feel “at home” till I’m in my own place again” was really validating for me. I relate to parts of your story and what you have been going through so hearing you mention how you didn’t have so much of your home with you resonated with me. I’m excited for you that you guys are in your own space again and over time you will create your homey safe place again. 🤍🤍🤍
