Definitely enjoying this one so far. The whole Elder Dragon war and making friends with as many of the Dragons as possible is rather fun to watch - especially since I'm fairly sure it cannot last forever.
Our first annex....benevolent vassalization! Nicely done. Regarding Tomes, I really don't see the chaos or nature tomes working RP wise. I could see a bit of marterium affinity though, with all the metal and alchemy based stuff. We are a GOLDEN dragon after all. Now that we have defensive packs with one of the "baddies" we're sure to be dragged into a war sooner or later. Probably sooner. Still, I like that we're friendly with everyone but the Destroyer. 5/6 dragons unified in a way, that's pretty great.
As good dragon, nature tomes can be justified by wanting to help lesser creatures, or take care of them, Dragons aren't animals, but, Wyverns and Slithers are. Also, For a Dragon, others can be considered to be lesser beings\ animals.
Interesting series. You might want to think about some research improvement, and grabbing some astral affinity. RP-wise, astral should be easy to justify. It's magic. Tome of amplification is very strong for archers and skirmishers. Also astral affinity will give you more points for combat spells.
It'd be cool imo if you, recorded or not, took a few moments to polish up heroes with some customisation options. Just to make them a bit more special to root for than ai generated off the production line.
Me thinks you worry WAYYY to much about finishing units off when they already can't do anything. The most egregious example is at 52:36, where that support unit was completely locked down by multiple melee units and couldn't move away without dying, yet you still committed your sun priest to finishing it off when it would have been more useful doing ANYTHING else.
"And that's why we don't raze. Because we're benevolent"
Sounds like some twisted advertisement

You could use Tier 1 Wyverns as an additional scouts, they can fly and you can summon them, where needed.
Another amazing episode. Will watch the next one.

Excited to see where you go with this playthrough. Thank you for the great content.
Given how you constantly find yourself bottlenecked by gold, I'm surprised you don't build more gold-production buildings.
I'm sure Bahad`dur would prefer open hand order over closed fist order but there's also a dragon war happening
I guess that's where Fangir ran away to from the Growth
It seems to me that the two 'Alliences' of Dragons, both have 1 member who would be more easily swayed than their compatriots...

For the Golden Dawn!
