Season of ghosts is probably the best AP paizo has ever published I’m really confused as to why there is no buzz for it 1) its sandbox style - relatively limited railroad (and the railroading makes sense in context ) 2) they didn’t rush it - the adventure page count and length “works” 3) they accepted the limitations they imposed on themselves (unlike AoA, etc) - it has a theme, and a place and it just does that - the story “makes sense” 4) they are comfortable having social interactions with important NPCs 5) the “eastern” flavor is an accompaniment to the adventure… with tweaking you could put it anywhere If they can keep this level of quality going forward we’re in for a good run of adventures You’re in a for a treat when you play!
It's also AP that would be most damaged by spoilers, so many people don't talk about it to keep the secrets secure. Frankly, the fact so many people respect the story so much, they don't want to spoil it for anyone, is admirable archievemnt by itself. Not great marketing, tho. :)
Glad to see this part 2! Thanks for posting this!
I’m running SoG at the moment. It’s our first pf2e campaign (coming from 5e). Enjoying it.
