Damn, this is a great ending for all of us. I didn't think most was possible to do, but I am a believer now. I will keep playing until I get to the end.
Very nice ending probably the best outcome for a good chaos lord The effort required must be insane I haven't tried a Nyrissa romance run yet and have only ever completed the game once recently because I bought this when it launched and it was too buggy to complete I never new Tartuk could be spared and get this cool ending slide
I just finished my first ever playthrough. For some reason I knew that Nyrissa was an option for romance so I started hitting for her (I do not know about you guys, but this voice!). Unfortunately I did not know that you need Tartuk to be alive so I did not had enough arguments to lift the curse. So in order to save Nyrissa from Lantern King my protagonist took his offer in order to save her. Tragic ending, not exactly what I wanted but still good enough. After watching this video I found some things that I will try in a new playthrough someday
After seeing the best endings of Wrath of the Righteous, it just doesn't live up to kingmaker. Kingmaker was so thorough and comprehensive here that it leaves Wrath of the Righteous feeling a bit bland and empty by comparison. Both are unbelievable games but I think Kingmaker still has the most satisfyingly comprehensive endings! Which is a bit sad given the thematic potential of the endings in Wrath of the Righteous.
Cool ending, still prefer my own choices of course. Mine had a lot similarities to yours, though I didn't romance Nyrissa, but allied with her against the Latern King instead. Some minor differences of course here or there. It was tough to get that ending, but I am good with it. I kind of expected the last battle to be longer.
MY Ending is that Tristan was killed by Jaetal who was mind controlled by Nyrissa). Amiri got desperate and mad for her friend's dead and still wander in the first world, never came back. Valerie married with common farmer and have 2 kids. I finished and complete all companion' endings. But I don't get a perfect ending.
If you had Jaethal abandon her deity she won’t kill him, and Tristian probably won’t kill her either. Amiri has to have a strong trust with the main character to stay put. As for Valerie I believe you have to convince her that she needed to be more respectful of religious people (probably by being one yourself) to not only remove the glaive scar on her face, but to also get her best ending.
@@ilsensine1 yeah its interesting.. im playing right now, i have no interest in romancing Nyrissa, Kalikke and Kanerrah are my babes.. i also raised dead elven girl with Jaethal, i hope i dont lose any companion in the end
@@ilsensine1 what reddit post? i was LG to start but that is a no go to save the kobolds and mites. so then did NG, but you also have to be chaotic for tartuk AND lawful for jhod and kasten (then patched this latter so you HAVE to be lawful to order him back to the capital)

The timers in this game forbade me from finishing it TWICE. Plus Amiri's questline bugging and some extremely bad and not entertaining battles at Nyrissa's castle near the end...It's the only game, hopefully the last, that I ve played twice, that I loved, reached the ending but chose not to finish it because I was not allowed to , the way I wanted...and strived to. And no, I prefer watching the endings than using cheats or ignoring kingdom management. The devs deigned me incompetent to play how they wanted, so I agreed 😕
I've done her quests every which way and never gotten that. But then I always romance Nyrissa. So I'm sure it has something to do with that. Maybe starting and then breaking off a romance with her, if I had to guess.
@@ilsensine1 I just beat the game (and I also romanced Nyrissa) I can tell you now the way to get that ending. You have to ignore her quest entirely, as in not do it at all. I get the letter from her captain I didn't show it to her (although I think I could've showed it to her without any thing changing since she still knew somehow) waited out the quest she had a minor complaint when it failed but nothing else. Her not meeting with the knight lead to a chain reaction where since she wasn't scarred in the first place she wasn't tempted at all by Nyrissa leading her to survive the HatoT and since she didn't complete her quest in the negative way either she doesn't take her Lawful Zealotry to it's most extreme and become a Hellknight.
@@cyberninjazero5659 Thanks! I figured she just died if you didn't do the quest at all. I probably still consider it a less optimal ending than the "muse" ending, but it's interesting.
@@ilsensine1 I like it because it gives her what she wants at the beginning (I never did the last part of her quest so if there's character development in it that changes this I don't know). She's living a quiet life not bothered by admirers and on top of that she even gets to settle down and start a family.
I had a +100 hours long saved file that got corrupted. I aint gonna play again so here i am. Almost shed a tear.
I say give it some time and then fire it back up as a new race/class.

Thanks! Last time I did a playthrough was after the final DLC, and I don't think I encountered any bugs, so it's pretty solid now.
Actually if you spare Tartuk, he can even be recruited as a companion in the final chapter if you have the neutral alignment.

Is Tartuks ending different if he joins you as a companion in the last chapter or is it the same, when he is just your vassal?

Recently bought this game and I am loving it, haven’t beat kingmaker yet but I am working on it, one I beat it, I’m gonna move onto the dlcs

this is the exact ending i got except nyrissa is not in my kingdom and i favored mages instead of soldiers.

You have to manage your alignment as in the reddit post. I started with neutral good.

ah rats, i got a near perfect ending. Just no narissa romance.
The timers in this game forbade me from finishing it TWICE. Plus Amiri's questline bugging and some extremely bad and not entertaining battles at Nyrissa's castle near the end...It's the only game, hopefully the last, that I ve played twice, that I loved, reached the ending but chose not to finish it because I was not allowed to , the way I wanted...and strived to. Would have loved to watch my own ending but the game crashes like crazy on PS4... Trash devs should sell the rights.
These kinds of games are often ill-suited for consoles. All I can say is that it had some bugs at launch but they were fixed and it works great on PC.
