Mercedes also really has a pretty singing voice, she was amazing in White Swan, I hope there will be a little bit of her singing in the new Kittie record.
This is so sad, I miss Trish.
This is so moving it's almost unbearable. Anyone who hasn't watched Origins/Evolutions, go and do so now - this band is, for me at least, the most overlooked of the late-90s/early-00s era. So excited to hear they are working on a new record because the last two were really building to something, taking all those melodeath influences hinted at on Until the End and finessing them into something heavy, hooky and well crafted.
It's lovely to see Tara and Ivy still working with Morgan and Mercedes; after all these years and line-up changes, they're still together and close.
Being in the UK, it's unlikely I'll ever get to see them now - I was too young when Spit came out, but caught them on the tour for In the Black - but thank you, ladies, your music has lifted me at my lowest and sustained me at my highest.

Yeah I love this acoustic version! I was actually watching this whole concert yesterday (Live at the London Music Hall) which has MOST of all the past members (Fallon Bowman, Jennifer Arroyo, etc) representing the different incarnations of the band from now going back to the very early days!

I was never a big fan of Kittie growing up but damn this is such a good performance! And the lead singer really aged beautifully as well
Have you heard their 2 new songs just released from their upcoming album "Fire" on Sumerian Records? "Eyes Wide Open" (all screams/growls) and "We Are Shadows" (clean vocals w/ some harsh vocals thrown in). They're back w/ a VENGEANCE!!!
