That's awesome I have been watching scanner Danner here recently got a long crank issue that was showing a cam position sensor code but not a cel. Shop replaced it and checked wires and thinks it's the Ecu. I'm going to try to check the wires before I go for the ECU replacement.
Got a 2005 buick lacrosse crank no start no spark. Replaced CKP sensor, replaced failing catalytic converter, checked battery and cables. Had autozone test the ICM (said was good...) ran codes got a bunch of codes relating to map maf crank etc. Used an inline ignition spark tester to verify there is no spark going to the plugs. I'm thinking the autozone tester isn't accurate and I'm needing a new ICM but could be wrong. Any help at all? Im going crazy...

I discovered after rodents ate wires/coating in my vehicle that some wire coating is made of soy. Hmm, so rats eat that. Who knew?

Should be able to just repin harness connector of bad wires.
A lot of the time you can’t rewire certain things cause it’ll then throw resistance codes
