🤩 This right here!!! Your mod skills are supa dope! I've had the A1up Star Wars sit down cab in my cart for weeks.🤔 It's probably time to pull the trigger 😁
@@KongsRUs heck yeah! You know this mod is straight up 🔥🔥🔥 Share some love and put a DL pack up in Arcade Brigade 🙌 I know someone who would think it's Cleeeeeeean 🤣
@@KongsRUs oh I've watched it, it's the best star wars mod I've seen, Im just novice and not computer savvy, not knowing what to get or download. What kind of computer that sorta thing. I'd imagine you would really have to know what your doing to comprise such list
@@KongsRUs I'd be happy with just the star wars trilogy mod, but just going to find a computer that would run it would be a challenge for me litterlly no idea
@@danieldiehl3915 I actually recorded a budget PC build tutorial, specific to play these games that should be coming out soon. just need to find some more editing time! really quick, I'm using a Dell optiplex 7010, i5 3470 3.2Ghz, 16GB ram, and a GTX 1650 graphics card. I added another 120GB SSD just to launch windows quicker and this whole Playlist is around 100GB only.
Wow. I Think this is my favorite mod / game play list that I've come across on the net. Very well done & great list of games. I'm expecting my Star Wars A1U to arrive this Thursday. I think I've found the mod I'm going to do. I hope you don't mind if I email you re some of the details. Thanks for this.
Fantastic job! I really would like this myself. Would all of this be doable using something like the Alan-1 yoke instead (yes I know more money) with a decent PC and bigger monitor than the tiny A1UP SW cab. Of course would need a cabinet for it as well.
yes, this playlist would work with an Alan 1 yoke, but I would recommend waiting for the GRS Yoke that will be available on Amazon in December. I'm making a version of my 2.0 playlist that will be configured to work with the GRS yoke as well. stay tuned as I'll be doing a full showcase of my 2.0 playlist this weekend
@@KongsRUs sounds great! Have you ever changed the LCD in the SW cab to a larger one? Would you just need the 20" upgrade kits floating around the web and a new LCD board like you have used for this project?
@@GCS2000 some folks have done the larger 20" upg, but im not the biggest fan as it has resolution limitations. this playlist is ideally set to run on 1920x1080 resolution and the stock A1up can be set to that resolution, even if its a 5:4 ratio monitor. this allows every game to run full screen. the 20" Dell 2007FPB only go to 1600x1200 max and some games will have issues running full screen
I'm thinking of doing something like this on my 1up, but I'm not confident in my ability to drill through the deck and the plexiglass. Now that you've lived with it awhile, how many buttons do you think you need to add to play your playlist?
thanks! I haven't thought about sharing it widely just yet, but good to know there is interest! you can email me at kongsrus.arcade@gmail.com for more info

@@KongsRUs Thanks Kongs! One more question..... concerning Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 running in launchbox on the dolphin emulator, how do you get around the first pop up question about the Memory Slot? I may not have my controls figured correctly out the box. I can scroll up and down but can't make a selection. Are you playing without saving or is there a way to save your progress and how did you set that up?
@@lewdew1237 to be honest, I think I play without saving and have only tested the first stage of rogue 2 to make sure it works. wish I actually had more time to enjoy playing these games! but I'm enjoying the modding process just as much as the end result
once you have it setup on your PC, you can manually add the game and then set the Launch executable file directly to the .exe you are using for it to work.
Thanks that worked! One last question. Are you using the AHK F4 to exit game or did you figure out how to exit using one of the buttons on the Star Wars cab?
Do you have any idea why the controls for up and down would be reversed on the original empire strikes back and ROTJ but not the original Star Wars arcade game?
you can inverse your Y Analog axis in the MAME settings for those games. just hit Tab when the game is running and go to Analog Controls and you can inverse the Y axis. for original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back, you should also turn the sensitivity all the way down to 1 for better controls. ROTJ analog sensitivity at 15 for both x and y axis
Kongs-R-Us tha k you so much! Second question. This deals with the yoke itself. I noticed on games like trilogy arcade that I can’t get the crosshairs to go all the way to the edge of the screen. I noticed this as well for games like battle pod and Batman on telnoparrot. Any suggestions?
@@healtc5069 you may have to calibrate your yoke in Windows first. click on the Windows icon and start typing "Setup USB controller" when the app pops up, open it and check your APAC settings to see if the yoke cursor is centered and test if it goes to the edges. if not, you can use the calibration tool to reset it. hope that helps!
I havent tested this playlist using an internal graphics card so I can't say for sure. any of the classic arcade games using MAME could probably run ok, but none of the newer arcade systems and console games would have a hard time without a dedicated GPU.
I'm having a hard time figuring out how to move my starwars game into a Playlist that has a clear logo already installed . How do you get the Playlist to look good
you can create a new playlist to sort your games however you want, but to get clear logos to show, you have to make sure you've scraped the media from Launchbox Database or Emumovies and that the image type is set to Clear Logo. you can right click the playlist name and edit it to add a clear logo image and video too. I custom made playlist videos and playlist logos so those are unique to my build. I'm using the Unified Refried BigBox theme and in the Views section under Manage Themes, you can set the game view wheel to show images instead of just text name. i should do a BigBox tutorial soon!
i see you are using model 2 emulator as well im having an issue cant seem to get the Thrust master pedals and the yoke to work at the same time one always come up as null. I have configured them one at a time as per arcade control forum with no luck I can have 1 or the other working also having issues with redream can only use port 0 but the pedals show up in another port how did you get these to work thank you.
hey JV, I've had some issues with control mapping for Sega Model 2, and I haven't tried mapping a pedal set yet with the yoke. mostly making it accessible and playable through the yoke and control panel first. when I get to testing out my pedals with it, I'll let you know if I figure it out
also, in general, there's a few emulators that won't let you map multiple controllers to a single user input like redream, so you have to make some input choices to optimize game play. nothing is ever going to be perfect, but at least most games are playable and enjoyable
Wow, can’t wait to get my yoke modded and up and running... you did an absolute unbelievable awesome job on that playlist!! I’m on your list!
