I agree that it is a bit bleak out there, not my cup of tea at all. Which army base is up in those parts because I noticed the tank crossing signs and the only places that I have seen them is by Salisbury Plain and Bovington Tank Museum.
I hope you managed to get home at a reasonable time and that you managed to get some kip.

I live down south where they run out of land to build on years ago.
So for last 15/20 years they have built endless blocks of ugly flats.
Then the powers that be wonder why crime is skyrocketing & the local community is tearing each others throats out. Duh.
