I believe the demons Stolas was referring to are the succubus and incubus demons. In case you don't know Nux, they are the ones with wings. And also, based on what we saw in that flashback, it could also explain Barbie's hatred towards Blitzø!
Whoever said this is the best episode of this fine series no no it's not it's near the level of when striker returns i'm giving my full opinion i do not think these people that call fans do it
Fizz having survived a horrific fire and still being able to live a good life can be something so personal, especially as someone who survived a fire and is covered in skin grafts.
Stolas doesn't want Blitz to feel trapped by their relationship. He wants Blitz to understand that he truly loves him. In essence, Stolas is giving him his freedom.
@@UltimateGamerCCBlitzo TECHNICALLY cares about him, but he refuses to believe those feelings or show them openly because he thinks STOLAS doesn't care about him. Istg someone needs to just sit them down in a room and have them talk about their feelings and everything would be solved.
it's not that he doesnt care about Stolas, it's that he believes Stolas doesnt care about him, it's ironic that they feel similarly AND think similarly. but yes, you are right that they need to talk things out, especially now with the Asmodean Crystal in play.@@CrispyCousy
@@UltimateGamerCCIt's funny how Stolas never realized he had all the power in the relationship, while Blitz felt powerless the whole time why slowly falling for him. It's, poetic?
yeah, what started as Blitz not wanting to just dash out on his friend, to REALLY enjoying the sex, to craving the attention that he was getting from Stolas. then the night at Ozzie's really painted the wrong picture.@@hehhehhehheh-wn7zz
Honestly I kinda liked how they reconciled so quickly. It showed how easy Blitzø can clean up ALL of his problems if he just talked to people instead of digging his grave deeper.
Fizz and Blitzø's situation with each other was made worse by lack of communication. If they could've just talked sooner, Blitzø and Fizz could've been best friends by now. But Blitzø was never able to explain his perspective to Fizz which only put salt in Fizz's wounds
I do think it's a bit more complicated than that though, Yes him and Fizz were able to make up by actually having time to have a serious conversation, but that obviously didn't work with his sister. He tried to set up for it but she want's nothing to do with him.
@demikus it's implied Blitzø and Barbie lost their mother in the fire and explosion in Oops so it could be that. Like how Fizz blamed Blitzø for everything that went wrong as from his POV it looked like he intentionally did it, Barbie could've had a similar POV seeing Blitzø intentionally start the fire and piecing together from the evidence presented that he killed their mother
@@demikusyeah but he accidentally caused the death of their mother which hits deeper. Sometimes, making up with a broken family is harder because whatever happens with family is more personal. Things can be a lot worse with family. Barbie became an addict and had to go to rehab and she blames Blitz for it all. Accident or no, their mother is dead, seeing blitz is painful, she never learned to cope with the accident that blitz caused which resulted in their mothers death, she became an addict, she had to go to rehab, and the last we see blitz with barb he didn’t respect her wish and even got her out of a job and probably believes her brother is just going to keep ruining her life somehow with that mindset she developed. Sure it’s an accident what happened to their mom, but sometimes accidents don’t mean a thing to a lot of people. It’s harder for some to forgive an accident that caused someone’s death or permanent injury/handicap. It can be easier to forgive an accident that resulted in injury or handicap, but not the death of a family member. For fizz, his life isn’t ruined because of how he benefits from his new lover, Ozzie. He has someone who cares for him and understands. So in other words, Fizz has a more positive outlook with his trauma. He basically said “if this event didn’t take place, I wouldn’t have what I have now.” Barb doesn’t have the same luxury as Fizz. She never learned to cope and just now got out of rehab and is currently unemployed because her brother killed her meal ticket. Fizz didn’t really forgive Blitz yet, he did say “accident or not, you can’t expect me to just forgive you. It’s been so long”, but it’s a start to their healing arc. There was a misunderstanding between fizz and blitz which got cleared up once they communicated. However, there is no misunderstanding between blitz and barb, but rather a mother they can never get back.
Brandon really knocked it out of the park with the emotional moments. He delivered that backstory and the emotions Blitzø had kept hidden until that moment so perfectly. You can really feel the regret and the self-loathing when he recounts the fire.
It was wild. Sometimes when I really like a show, I'll put a favorite episode on and listen to it while falling asleep or while working on some low brainpower project. I'd already watched the episode two or three times and adored that moment, but when I only LISTENED to the ep, oh boy that moment HURT. There is INSTENSE HIGH QUALITY delivery in those lines.
Ozzie didn't call out Stolas being with an imp, that line was from Wally, Ozzie practically praised Stolas for leaving his family for lust (also, not knowing that Stolas was in love)
Also, Ozzie is basically Stolas' uncle as a king of the Goetia family, so this is basically a family reunion (and seeing how chill Ozzie is in general, one can assume they've got an ok if maybe a bit distant relationship)
He was also overcompensating to hide his and fizz's relationship. If he publicly and blatantly keeps singing about lust being better than love etc. etc. few would suspect him of being in a loving, monogamous relationship. But then again, if hell finds out, the downfall will be just as hard, the harder he builds it up that lust>>>love
Ah yes because the line "i hope you didn't give it up so you and him could get it up" is definitely praise😒 i dont think ozzie was doing anything with malicious intent but he definitely wasnt on stolas's side that night and was cookin him. Also no Ozzie called them out first "is your date a demon prince? Stolas is that you?" Word for word bar for bar what he said😂
@No-ny3co Ozzie is literally Lust tho, saying Stolas doing something in the spirit of Lust isn't bad in his mind? I agree they were antagonistic and flaunting Stolas failure to not succumb to Lust but "you sold your life for a thrust, now that's the spirit of Lust" is Ozzies approval in Stolas giving into his sin. Ozzie can recognize that leaving your wife and child for a fling is bad in everyone else's eyes, but his persona has to approve of the behavior (his real feelings may differ tho)
@@No-ny3co wasn't it "who's the demon prince at your table? Stolas is that you?" and then Whacky came in with "are you sleeping with an imp?" Also, according to the texts between Blitz and Stolas, Ozzie has a 'roast' kind of humor that Stolas acknowledgeds isn't for everyone but that he himself likes to be degraded (although that could be an attempt to bandaid the situation to play it off as an ill placed joke rather than malice, but from their recent interaction, they've given no signs of animosity so it could just be a joke born out of Ozzie's projection onto them)
The scene from "Loo Loo Land" where Robo Fizz is walking towards Blitzø while melting and being scorched hits differently now. This episode managed to incorporate a lot of characters and touch upon several plot points without feeling convoluted. In my opinion, this was the best episode so far.
Yeeeeh sure... not convoluted... they did start a 2 parter finale, never made the second part, started the second season out the ass, made around 5 episodes before going back to season 1 for no fucking reason and making episode 8 on top of it just to goback to this. Show aint bad but it cant decide whatever the fuck it wants to be
@@The1nvisibleJeevas I think they mention in an episode the full classification of Blitz and similar Imps are Bull Imps. Specifically I think it’s Striker who brings it up when he first appears in the series; it might just be slang though, always possible I misunderstood the line. I just took it as fact cause I assumed there may be different types of Imps in hell
@@ValleyChildXYou might be thinking of the line “So you’re the bold imp to start his own killin biz” but it does sound like he says Bull, or you might be talking abt a completely other line then idk.
I just noticed in your pause, when Fizz was explaining his relationship to Blitz in the warehouse, Blitz had the same face he wears when he's spying on Moxxie and Millie. Like he really, really loves watching a wholesome relationship. He just can't hide it sometimes.
I took that as a sign he actually saw fizz as a true friend again, he let him back in, so fizz was subject to his crass humor he uses to cut the tension/ move on when he doesnt know what to say to keep up the persona, but thats just what i see
@@estelalopez3563 And Blitz has also, in previous episodes, implied a desire to threeway with Moxie and Millie(I believe this is mentioned near the beginning of the loo loo land episode, but I may be wrong. I do know for sure it's near the beginning of a season one episode at least). In other words, he can both appreciate a wholesome relationship, and want to have something with a participant, or several participants in said relationship. Consistent Blitz behavior.
Fizzarolli and Asmodeus are EASILY the most wholesome couple in the series so far, which is crazy considering we just got an episode with Vortex and Beelzebub.
Yo, do yall know how Fizz has a red half circle thing on his nose? It's because of the clown ball nose thing he was wearing when he was blown up, so it protected his imp skin.
@@phusuthang2752 That and the imp owned circus went under, so her family, career, her life, was just swept away by her careless brother. - Most likely turned to drugs to numb the pain. But you can't really numb that sort of thing with opiates, so she just kept taking harder and harder stuff until Blitz forcibly put her into rehab. (Which she also resents him for, because he does not get to tell her what she can do with her body after ruining her life like that). Sort of a fucked either way situation. He loves her, and it killed him to see her kill herself one needle at a time. Sorry for rambling. I just find a cartoon about horny demons carrying much more depth than anything Hollywood has shat out in the last two decades rather fascinating.
I mean, he's lust, not greed. rape is about power, which is a selfish greedy urge to have. though I can certainly respect a lust demon that knows consent.
Stolas is trying to separate thir business relationship and their personal relationship. Since Blitz told him he's only being used for the book, he's removing the book from the equation to see if it will still work out. Side note: when the sin of Lust says that "lust cannot be forced" what a based way to say assault is bad even in hell
I don't think it's that odd. The sins were all angels at one point and their strong principles were what led them to follow Lucifer in the war against heaven in the first place.
@@MuffinHunterX are you talking about the sins in helluva boss or the actual demons they are based on because I just looked it up and all I found was fan theories that they're fallen angels. The only one who I think is confirmed a fallen angel is Lucifer.
At 12:55 , I think Nux got the wrong impression. He wants to let Blitz free from the magic portal so that if he goes to Stolas, it's out of want, not need. Basically 'if I give him the crystal, and he just ignores me forever, that'll mean it's because he was only ever interested in the portals'. Meanwhile Blitz is probably going to read the opposite of this 'Oh, he's finally bored of me, so he made sure I won't go back to him.' 100% this is what's going to happen, and it's going to take one of them leaving that safe zone to find out the truth.
Interesting theory with Blitzø's side of the flashback is that if you pause on the letter, it may have been a love letter, and he may have had a crush on Fizz back then. What Fizz thought was jealousy may have been deep admiration and Blitzø not knowing how to express it leading to the accident that put that distance between them for all those years.
Also Fizz wasn't angry about the attention whorr line. He was angry at the implication that he dosent work for his shit when he works very hard. If you read the paper more closely it implies that Fizz is a gold digger, and multiple characters think that way, even Striker calls him a purse dog, and called Ozzie his master, even Blitz thought little of Fizz early on, calling him Ozzies sex doll. People making a lot of assumptions about Fizz purely cause he's an imp who is with Ozzie
And ironically, Blitz wouldn't have his business if a royal didn't literally hand over the grimoire to him. Pot and kettle. I do wonder how Fizz and Ozzie met up, since we know Bitz's and Stolas' backstory.
@@The1nvisibleJeevas omg I want a backstory too. Ozzie is the one to give him the robotic limbs and all and clearly adores him the way he is. And yeah, blitz is one to talk considering he does transactional exchange with his body to do his work. Fizz doesn’t just have things handed to him. He does work hard and Ozzie just spoils him a bit. But it’s not like he sits around doing nothing like some sugar bae, or is giving things for his body, he actually pulls his weight around the palace and even handles Ozzie’s scheduling. He even performs. The only thing he isn’t allowed to do is cook.
I love that Blitz & Fizzarolli talk things out while dealing with a shoot out - The assembly line music is based on Powerhouse which is best known for appearing in various Looney Tunes shorts - I notice this with Fizzarolli’s pets are fly like which can relate Beelzebub (lord of the flies) whose ring can adopt Hell Hounds
It’s really interesting how Stolas & Blitzø’s relationship, or Ozzie & Fizz’s are seen as scandals, but Bee & Vortex is okay, since we were told many times that Hellhounds are pretty low in Hell’s class system too. Another note, Crimson said that Ozzie is labeled as “the least threatening of the sins”. That tells me two things; 1. Bee-lzebub is seen as a bigger threat than him and so even if her relationship could also be dirty laundry, people don’t dare speak up cuz they’d be screwed. And 2. Major props to Loona being willing to throw down with one of the sins.
i don't think ozz is actually the weakest of the sins. it was crimson saying it after all. anything less that absolute ruthleness and violence would be seen as weak and non threatening. to that extent i would think crimson sees bee, ozz, bel and possibly levi as weak.
Yeah, I think Crimson said that Asmodeus was weak because of Asmodeus’ love for Fizz and mocking Asmodeus for having such an easily exploitable weakness. Not necessarily ranking a power level the way people seem to be interpreting the line to be, in my opinion.
Probably stretching a bit here, but it is possible for it to also be a weird sort of reference: In Dante's Inferno, which the Hazbin world uses as inspiration for its structure of Hell, the second ring is the punishment of the lustful, and isn't nearly as severe as the rings further down (just being pushed around by strong winds). It could be a reference to that, as well as whatever mind games Crimson is up to. But back on topic, it is also entirely possible that Beelzebub and Vortex are simply doing a better job at keeping their relationship under wraps due to them not working together, and anyone who sees the two being friendly at a party could pass it off as Bee's general warmness rather than the two having something going.
Ozzy: "No, it's to early for Burgers you Maniac" Big ol' me, having a Breakfast Burger with Pretzel brioche roll, fried egg, bacon, avocado, cheddar, tomato, pickled red onion and homemade ketchup: "Sure Oz, whatever you say..."
Crimson (Moxie's dad) hasn't had a lot of screen time but I think he's the type to not thoroughly think through his plans. This is likely one of the reasons he didn't include Blitzo in his ransom video. Also, he probably doesn't know that Stolas and Blitzo are a thing or that Stolas and Ozzy were in a meeting together 🤷🏻♀️ He may have also forgotten about Blitzo as he hardly interacts with him at all in this episode 😅
Yeah, even if he did know about Stolas and Blitzø, he would have no way of knowing Stolas was with Asmodeus, so there would be no reason to not just leave Blitzø tied down off camera
I'm pretty sure his mom get hit by the same box of fireworks that hit Fizz and Blitz. You see them leaving the tent and hitting Blitz's eye, you hear a scream while seeing a tent directly behind him where he fled to. Essentially his mother most likely got hit by the fireworks after Blitz was hit and then he ran from Fizz to check on his mother. If I had to guess Barbie was probably near by making her contact in the human world dying by a firework all the more traumatizing.
@@WiiManElite Doesn't really seem like the smart thing for the lawyer to do: if he takes so long that they miss the deadline, then Ozzy no longer has any reason to keep him alive. It's in his best interest to keep things quick.
@@whitenoise8397but to be fair, if he takes long enough that they're going to miss the deadline soon, Oz can't negotiate for a better deal, he just has to accept whatever terms are on the table
it really was a great episode, and finally instead of Blitz receiving hate, he receives forgiveness. and now hopefully with the Asmodian Crystal, Blitz and Stolas will hopefully be able to reconcile, as both sides really got the wrong idea at Ozzie's that night.
Honestly I never felt like Ozzy had any issue with stolas and Blitz. He only mentioned them at all because Blitz opened his mouth. Wally Wackford is the one who yelled out about him sleeping with an Imp. Ozzy just say I hope you didnt dump your perfect family *just* for a lay. Then went back to getting his clubs vibe back on track after Moxxie screwed it up and started everything.
One thing I love about this relationship is that it’s the complete opposite of Blitz and Stolas. Blitz and Stolas are completely public about it, but doesn’t believe it’s real between them, while these two are completely open between each other, but is trying to keep it secret from everyone else. Such good writing!
I love how the ending like "You can say, he earned it" can be taken two ways, Because Fizz is saying it about Blitzo, but Oz is taking it as Stolas earned it.
I honestly see Asmodious' not exactly being a hypocrite. Lust is one thing, mainly towards ones that aren't exactly tied down.. but he (Stolas) was. That's where a lot of problems get really...REALLY messy.
Ozzy didn't call Stolas out with any negative connotations. He pointed out that Stolas was in an adulterous relationship with a member of a lower class, and used him as a strong example of what lust means. That obviously rubbed Stolas and Blitzø the wrong way, but that wasn't him being a hypocrite. No, he's being called a hypocrite for being in a loving relationship as the demon prince of lust.
@dumbly-stupid He didn't call them out for being in a loving relationship, he called out Moxie specifically for singing a love song and being all sentimental in the literal "house of lust". Literally anywhere else and he probably wouldn't have said a word about them
From Fizz's POV, Blitzø abandoned him and ran off. But he didnt leave him alone. Blitzø called people to help him, but as soon as he saw his mom, he ran to HER to try to save her... and failed
Yeah, I feel really bad for Blitzø. I think he has the third most tragic backstory in this show. Loona's is second most tragic and Moxxie's is the MOST tragic. (This is all my opinion)
Bro, I just realized the significance of episode two fight with robot fizz, ending in the park catching fire, because of blitz being jealous of fizz, the circus tent caught fire with green flames, fizzbot got burnt, while blitz was blown away
I'm sure he isn't hurting but I think you overestimate UA-cam monetization. I'm sure he's comfortable and not definitely not "low class" in the traditional sense, but I doubt he's "upper class" in the way he meant in this video (the difference between incredibly rich people vs everyone else).
@@marcelberes469Edit: I wrote this interpreting "overestimating" as "underestimating" and thought you were replying to me loll. We're on the same side but I'm keeping this comment up because I'm not a coward. I work for a creator and have access to revenue statistics. Different types of videos will bring in different rates of ad revenue, of course, but you need to take into consideration that Nux likely has at least 1-2 editors that he pays regularly. Not sure if he pays creators he works with for main channel videos, maybe sometimes? But I'm considering all that to think of whatever his net profit is.
Honestly if i was the lawyer i wouldve abandoned everything and ran the minute Ozzie was distracted by Fizz. Fuck the suitcase and paperwork. Im glad everyone agrees this is the best episode.
i love this show sm! the writing is great because it never takes itself too seriously, but also never undercuts the emotional storyline. i think part of why the writing is so good is because its an independent show and they literally cant afford to waste time. the action sequences always contain dialogue, and it feels like the show is constantly multitasking. its so clear the that writers are always mindful about every single character and how they would react to certain things which makes the world feel so real. its also wholesome as hell
Having Striker, Blitzo, and Fizz in the same episode spells out a beautiful triality of how people can behave in unequal relationships: 1.) Fizz represents trust and faith in such relationships despite understanding the gravity of a discrepancy. In this case, that discrepancy is the class difference between him and Asmodeus; however, he is supported by the open communication between the two party's involved. Their situation seems to be the healthiest thus far (aside from being sworn to secrecy). 2. Striker represents resentment and dismissiveness. With a deep-seated hatred of the upper class, it would not surprise me if we come to realize that Striker put faith in a higher class figure, once upon a time, and was promptly discarded when his usefulness ended. Some characters are just evil, but with how much he hates to lose and his willingness to go above and beyond his contracts to hurt those who he thinks have wronged him, I imagine he may have suffered an extraordinary amount at some point. 3. Blitzo represents the fear and confusion of unspoken tension. There is a distinct lack of communication between him and Stolas that they refuse to acknowledge and instead attempt to fill subtle gestures and avoidant behavior. Blitzo's mentality could swing to that of either Striker or Fizz, depending on how he and Stolas choose to resolve their unspoken emotions. Seeing Blitzo's maturity level throughout the series, I anticipate that if Stolas breaks ties, then he will become extremely depressed and attempt to raise hell in response. Edit: 3 more notes after watching the rest of the episode: Fizz is willing to TRY and forgive Blitzo for all these tears which suggests his emotional maturity compared to the other 2; Striker sided with Blitzo in their little argument and, being the narcissist he is, he would never admit his own problems (meaning that he likely got stuck in the same situation Blitzo was in); lastly, if the misunderstanding between Blitzo and Fizz was orchestrated by the upper class, then ALL 3 imps may find themselves on the same page of hating the upper class.
btw, its heavily believed that blitz's first every crush was fizz, its shown a lot throughout small scenes, 1- when they showed the clip of him holding a letter and throwing it on the ground it was clearly a love letter, 2- when fizz pulls him in during his song you can see blitz-s expression soften, 3- right before the song blitz and fizz back away from the mobsters and blitz keeps moving in front of the guys to protect fizz plus other small moments, I'm chalking up him asking them to kiss a joke but that might be a small hint to
"Wow, where do I even begin? Helluva Boss has truly managed to elevate itself with this latest episode. The animation quality continues to impress, showcasing just how far the team has come since the first season. The character development is phenomenal; each episode layers new complexities onto existing relationships, making us more invested in their journeys. I was particularly struck by the emotional depth in the interactions between Blitzo and the other characters. It’s fascinating to see how their backstories and motivations influence their current actions. The humor is, of course, top-notch, but it’s the heartfelt moments that truly resonate. Not to mention the voice acting! Each performer brings such unique energy to their character, and it’s clear that they love bringing these roles to life. I also appreciate the way the show tackles dark themes with a balance of levity-it's a tough line to walk, but Helluva Boss does it with finesse. And can we talk about the world-building? I'm constantly amazed at the creativity that goes into each new setting. From the quirky designs of the characters to the detailed backgrounds, it all adds to the richness of the universe. I'm eager to see how all these elements will weave together as the series progresses. Lastly, the community around this show is incredible. The fan theories, artwork, and discussions have made watching this series an even more enriching experience. I can’t wait to see what’s next; this show has set the bar high, and I’m all here for it! 34:50 "Condoms on" Viziepop needs to get him to read the script before release, that punchline would have been AMAZING to hear in the animation. Fixed the timestamp.
So, is no one going to talk about how much of a snack Fizzarolli was looking early in the episode? Ayo what them arms do? Yeah this episode was a real stand out episode. It was such a cute episode with lots of feels. It jumped up quick in my list of favorites. I still jump back to Loo Loo Land being a favorite of mine because I am bias. Octavia is a favorite character of mine. Dying for more Octavia screen time.
27:46-27:56 Given what we’ve seen of the Sloth Ring’s hospital, with how Blitzø had to wait 5 years to get Loona an appointment, a miscommunication (or a lack thereof) leading to the disconnect of Blitzø & Fiz for 15 years isn’t even that unrealistic. Though it could also be some third party intentionally trying to make sure they never get in contact…Still doesn’t make it any less gut wrenching that THAT single issue is what lead them to grow apart for so long 😭
Dude it isn't even emotional at all i know people have their own opinions but what is so emotional about it like i could explain but i need you to explain first
Honestly I kinda liked how they reconciled so quickly. It showed how easy Blitzø can clean up ALL of his problems if he just talked to people instead of digging his grave deeper.
Before this episode i actually never realized how both Fizz and Blitz didn't have the white part of their skin. I searched and turns out these are scars left from the fire at the circus, and it's just SO genius how Fizz was fully burned but, during the explosion, he was using the clown nose, which is the reason why he has almost fully white skin except for the round spot above his mouth. I swear, this is just genius
Some Easter eggs/ extra info if you’d like. Blitzø white spot on his face is from the fire and the explosion that got his face. Imps scars turn white at some point and yeah. (I don’t feel like going into strong detail) But Fizzarolli is covered in white so he pretty much all scars. (That’s why he got knocked out so easily by Mille. Even though she’s still extremely good at fighting) Also, before the fire Blitzø was gonna give Fizzarolli a card before he seen the card his dad gave Fizzarolli. Which said “Wish you were my son” ⇩if you wanna know what Blitzø was going to give him. Blitzø was going to give him a confession card. Aka, will you go out with me card. (I didn’t reread this so forgive me if there are any spelling errors or if it doesn’t make sense. I can edit it if so.)
There are many things I argue about this show. Hell should be the most open place about homosexual or any sexual relationships. They shouldn’t have a problem swearing whatever they want. But it makes sense they have lawyers because hell is all about making binding deals.
The sheer contrast of the public face they have to show and how they really are. Granted, Moxxie was playing a love song in a strip club, but they got off very lightly in just getting kicked out. He even gave the boy a chance at a do over because he's fair.
Fizz isnt wanting to hide his relationship, he is just scared that of the relationship is made public, that he will be seperated from his partner. He would love to flaunt their love.
30:40 what he meant by horse thing is that blitz has a passion for horses, like in every episode there is something of his relating to horses, cuz he likes them, not sexually
12:55 This is after Season 1 ozzy episode. He isn't trying to give Blitz an out, but prove a point. Stolas heard Blitz say to stop pretending it's any more than an agreement based on needs. If Stolas gives Blitz a crystal so he no longer needs the book... That is stolas saying the monthly fornication/book trade wasn't pure pleasure but Blitz' love alone. Stolas isn't dumb, handong blitz the crystal is how he will know Blitz' true feelings. Stolas wants to take business out of it... That will reveal Blitz true feelings to Stolas.
Didn't like the song, but the episode was very enjoyable :) My favorite thing about this episode is that they took well established characters and put them all in a conflict together that makes sense. Love that kind of storytelling. Blitz's arch is so cool in this.
Yeah, only 2 complaints, 1 feels for the 1st 1/2 like it's going too fast. 2nd I do wish Stolas had seen Blitz, that either Blitz bounces into shot to just piss them off trying to escape or something, or even his voice in the background saying something like oh these ropes aren't tight enough harder daddy, just to send Stolas on an enraged spree too. Minor complaints though, because this episode is so good, and despite the latter still turns out a great sequence and bonding experience, Blitz actually repairing a broken bridge of his past. He failed with his sister, he's liable to loose his bridge with Stolas, Moxie and Millie, possibly even his own daughter based on the severity of his actions moving forward... and yet here is proof that he can repair those bridges, with probably the most tense relationship of his past. It's so good, so poetic, and all of Nux's points are well... ditto especially about the angle of 4 perspectives of the imps. It's such a good episode.
Sometimes I forget how much you understand characters and I love when you go on your reflection rants about character differences and perspectives and such
2:57 It’s beautiful and funny to me, that Ozzie and Fizzorolli, the Lust Characters, are one of the most Wholesome, Stable relationships in Helluva Boss, their soooooooooo cute, I love them~^^ ❤️ 9:24 Yep, Crimson and Striker in 1 Episode, it’s sooooooooo cool !!
So did anyone else see that moment when Blitzo with the silent o did a mini trapeze act and have a short but violent internal conflict? My inner critic pointed out "Why is there trapeze swings set up in a junk yard, and how the hell did Blitzo wall run like he was playing a match of CoD?" while my inner enjoyer of animated shows went, "But it ties into his character so well, as he was raised in a circus, of course he knows circus tricks and having him use them to save Fizz in a scene that both characters wish had occurred fifteen years earlier is BRILLIANT!" Meanwhile, external me was straight up shouting, "IT MAKES NO SENSE, I DON'T CARE, IT MAKES NO SENSE, I DON'T CARE!" My inner selves had a straight up brawl, and it has been a long time since an action scene, especially one as short as that was, got such a big reaction from me, it was beautiful.
No no Nux, I think Stolas was trying to ask for Ozzie's help to see if Blitzo actually cares about him, and if he would ever come back to Stolas if the book isn't needed. If I remember correctly from the episode after being at the club.
Lucifer (Fallen Angel of Pride), Satan (Devil of Wrath), Leviathan (Dragon of Envy), Asmodeus (Nephil of Lust), Mammon (Demon of Greed), Belphegor (Demon of Sloth), Beelzebub (Fallen Angel of Gluttony) Asmodeus was right it was his cluband entire Lust Ring. Asmodeus and Queen Bee = Beelzebub are true good Gigachads in good ways. Others Deadly sins are worst like Satan, Mamon or Even Lucifer
Ive never understood why people think lust and love are so separated Their two sides of the same coin one is primal and the other is logical (kinda), but by the end of the day thier both feelings for another person Even just a hookup can lead to a emotional connection Or yourself depending what you're into
Okay, technically Ozz didn't call Stolas out for sleeping with an imp, that was someone else who pointed that out, he called him out for being a cheater and destroying his life by sleeping with someone that wasn't his wife. So, that article is kind of wrong about that.
Watching this with the subtitles on adds another bit of enjoyment. The most notable being during Fizz's "because he's got a huge ****" denial, there's an added "I'm paid to write this, LOL". Some other good bits too, though.
Stolas and Asmodeus oh related, they’re both part of the Goetia family so i’m guessing that they’re just cool with each other. I’m pretty sure they’re brothers.
We know fizz got his mechanical arms from the fire and lost his horns too but a good detail is his nose, notice how it’s the only thing on his face that’s red. When the fireworks went off he had that clown nose. THATS detail

I believe the demons Stolas was referring to are the succubus and incubus demons. In case you don't know Nux, they are the ones with wings. And also, based on what we saw in that flashback, it could also explain Barbie's hatred towards Blitzø!

Stolas doesn't want Blitz to feel trapped by their relationship. He wants Blitz to understand that he truly loves him. In essence, Stolas is giving him his freedom.
exactly, hopefully that is made clear, because Stolas is wrong in thinking that Blitz doesnt care about him, that's just not the case.
@Savetion..You literally have zero content
You can really feel the regret and the self-loathing when he recounts the fire.
his delivery of "I *DID* CARE! IT *WAS* AN ACCIDENT!" was so raw and you can genuinely feel his emotions
@@_shroomish.unhinged_1003 Exactly! Such a good performance. I feel like Brandon keeps getting better and better as the series progresses.
Stolas is that you?" and then Whacky came in with "are you sleeping with an imp?"
Also, according to the texts between Blitz and Stolas, Ozzie has a 'roast' kind of humor that Stolas acknowledgeds isn't for everyone but that he himself likes to be degraded (although that could be an attempt to bandaid the situation to play it off as an ill placed joke rather than malice, but from their recent interaction, they've given no signs of animosity so it could just be a joke born out of Ozzie's projection onto them)
The scene from "Loo Loo Land" where Robo Fizz is walking towards Blitzø while melting and being scorched hits differently now. This episode managed to incorporate a lot of characters and touch upon several plot points without feeling convoluted. In my opinion, this was the best episode so far.

Also Crimson being a homophobe he probably thinks anyone who is gay is by default weak.
@@whitemoonwolf13yeah. Even then, weakest doesn't automatically mean literally weak. Even as the weakest, he's still a sin.
Yeah, I think Crimson said that Asmodeus was weak because of Asmodeus’ love for Fizz and mocking Asmodeus for having such an easily exploitable weakness. Not necessarily ranking a power level the way people seem to be interpreting the line to be, in my opinion.
Probably stretching a bit here, but it is possible for it to also be a weird sort of reference:
In Dante's Inferno, which the Hazbin world uses as inspiration for its structure of Hell, the second ring is the punishment of the lustful, and isn't nearly as severe as the rings further down (just being pushed around by strong winds).
Everyone talks about Ozzy and Fizz, but no one talks about the Crimson/Striker team up.
Because Ozzy and Fizz aren't only teaming up, they are together, but Crismon/Striker is different.
Ozzy: "No, it's to early for Burgers you Maniac"
Big ol' me, having a Breakfast Burger with Pretzel brioche roll, fried egg, bacon, avocado, cheddar, tomato, pickled red onion and homemade ketchup: "Sure Oz, whatever you say..."
Crimson (Moxie's dad) hasn't had a lot of screen time but I think he's the type to not thoroughly think through his plans. This is likely one of the reasons he didn't include Blitzo in his ransom video. Also, he probably doesn't know that Stolas and Blitzo are a thing or that Stolas and Ozzy were in a meeting together 🤷🏻♀️
He may have also forgotten about Blitzo as he hardly interacts with him at all in this episode 😅
I definitely think Crimson gets tunnel vision. Focusing immediately on what 'should be' ifykwim

This basically reveals that the song in Ozzie's lounge is "Projection, The Song"
Ozzie even somewhat praised Stolas for his behavior by saying that he acted in the spirit of lust.
They REALLY crammed this episode cos the escape vehicle is none other than Chazz's car that Blitzø wrecked when they introduced Crimson.
One thing I love about this relationship is that it’s the complete opposite of Blitz and Stolas. Blitz and Stolas are completely public about it, but doesn’t believe it’s real between them, while these two are completely open between each other, but is trying to keep it secret from everyone else. The fact that Fizzarolli's birthday has also become the day of Blitzo's mom death anniversary is so tragic.

I am so abso-fucking lutely obsessed with Fizz and Ozzy's voices. Their voices are polar opposites but in the most perfect ways.
Having Striker, Blitzo, and Fizz in the same episode spells out a beautiful triality of how people can behave in unequal relationships:
1.) Fizz represents trust and faith in such relationships despite understanding the gravity of a discrepancy.

The animation quality continues to impress, showcasing just how far the team has come since the first season.

Viziepop needs to get him to read the script before release, that punchline would have been AMAZING to hear in the animation.
3:04 lol "Not allowed to have a happier life than me."
Oh, jelly Nux.
Honestly this is my favorite episode ever
Before this episode i actually never realized how both Fizz and Blitz didn't have the white part of their skin. I searched and turns out these are scars left from the fire at the circus, and it's just SO genius how Fizz was fully burned but, during the explosion, he was using the clown nose, which is the reason why he has almost fully white skin except for the round spot above his mouth. I swear, this is just genius
Fizz’s design is one of my favorites
"why does he have lawyers?" well.. there are quite a few of them in hell, i'm sure.
I am so happy you have an eye for writing and can appreciate the nuances of the dialogue and characterizations.
I saw a really cute fan theory that Fizz and Ozzie forehead nuzzle so much because Fizz can't feel with his robotic hands
When Crimson said: do the thing, I instantly was thinking of varick of legend of korra😂😂😂😂
You, too? 😮
@@origamipein18 yep🤣🤣🤣
@@raimykoeiman6784I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Fun fact: the term "cuck" comes from the coo coo bird. That bird lays its egg in other birds' nests for them to take care of in it's stead.
Hehe. True. Only reason Ozzie got a bit annoyed at moxxie was because it wasn't fitting the space they were in.
I love opening my fyp and seeing reaction masterpieces like this
Starring
Brandon Rogers
Alex Brightman
James Munroe Iglehart
Bryce Pinkham
Richard Horvitz
and Ed Bosco
Fizz isnt wanting to hide his relationship, he is just scared that of the relationship is made public, that he will be seperated from his partner. He would love to flaunt their love.
30:40 what he meant by horse thing is that blitz has a passion for horses, like in every episode there is something of his relating to horses, cuz he likes them, not sexually
He entered his horse girl phase and never left :3
0:18 "I'm gasming everywhere." WELL, that's appropriate as you'll be seeing thr demon king of lust.
26:17 I saw it pointed out else where that this shows that the white coloring on imp bodies is actually scaring .
Didn't like the song, but the episode was very enjoyable :)
My favorite thing about this episode is that they took well established characters and put them all in a conflict together that makes sense. Love that kind of storytelling. Blitz's arch is so cool in this.
Yesss. I was a bit worried they'd keep doing the one episode one returning character thing but ugh yesss this was so good
Yeah, only 2 complaints, 1 feels for the 1st 1/2 like it's going too fast.

It’s beautiful and funny to me, that Ozzie and Fizzorolli, the Lust Characters, are one of the most
Wholesome, Stable relationships in Helluva Boss, their soooooooooo cute, I love them~^^ ❤️
9:24
Yep, Crimson and Striker in 1 Episode, it’s sooooooooo cool !!
It still blows me away that Fizz is voiced by the guy that played Beetlejuice in the musical.
Has anyone though that you can just escape a cage just by going in between the bars. No. Just me. Okay.
Also Elon Lust
Lucifer (Fallen Angel of Pride), Satan (Devil of Wrath), Leviathan (Dragon of Envy), Asmodeus (Nephil of Lust), Mammon (Demon of Greed), Belphegor (Demon of Sloth), Beelzebub (Fallen Angel of Gluttony)
Asmodeus was right it was his cluband entire Lust Ring. Asmodeus and Queen Bee = Beelzebub are true good Gigachads in good ways.
Others Deadly sins are worst like Satan, Mamon or Even Lucifer
Ive never understood why people think lust and love are so separated
Their two sides of the same coin one is primal and the other is logical (kinda), but by the end of the day thier both feelings for another person
Even just a hookup can lead to a emotional connection
Or yourself depending what you're into
Striker is the uncle ruckus of helluva boss
Sneako-“ I agree with nux”
Nux-“hold up, do I agree with myself though” 😂
Nux: I can't words!
Stolas: Ooo I love words!
Some other good bits too, though.
nux going without "BLEW EVERYON's MINDS..." Challenge, IMPOSIBLE!!!!?!?
7:50 'I love their relationship'
Question we are all waiting for... is how you'll like the relationship at the end.
Frenemies.
Stolas and Asmodeus oh related, they’re both part of the Goetia family so i’m guessing that they’re just cool with each other. I’m pretty sure they’re brothers.
Just finished watching it myself and it was awesome 😎
Brandon voice acting is underrated and needs more praise🎉
15:18 All Lawyers go to Hell
Blitz's skull necklace thing was his moms, both fizz and his sister bring subtle attention to it when alluding to the past.
at 3:00, I was like "umm so..wholesome is a bad thing?"
Anyone noticed the love letter from Blitzo for Fizz?
We know fizz got his mechanical arms from the fire and lost his horns too but a good detail is his nose, notice how it’s the only thing on his face that’s red. When the fireworks went off he had that clown nose. THATS detail
