For how little time Blitz was shown in this episode, it really hit me the Blitz is probably one of the most connected Imps in hell. For all that he constantly looks down on himself, he has a potential partner in the Goetia, a daughter who may be/ or will end up being friends with a prince, a friend who is dating another prince, and an ex who is one of the most popular pop stars in hell. I wonder if at some point, he stopped seeing the upper class as those to look up to and instead more people. What he hates is that himself and looks down on himself for being an imp

Also, shout out to that one guy who always was a FizzxOzzie shipper and just started shit posting at mach 5 "I told you so" messages everywhere (including to his ex) immediately after Ozzie confirmed on stage. Dude probably never felt so validated.
I think the only reason he didn't was because of fizz having that old hate for him. Once that was gone and Ozz could see the lengths blitz would go, that shit is endearing.

You know, back in the Ozzy's episode where Fizz is making a "joke" about his robot replicas and what people do with them, and some guy shouts out he has 4 of them...and some are there with the guy. Yeah, I laughed it off when Fizz warned security to keep that guy away...but now I realize he is CONSTANTLY being traumatized about needing to be a commodity. Hell, he was probably ordered by his boss to constantly shill products even when he was "professionally" acting in the capacity as Ozzy's Master of Ceremonies. Fizz was forced to see himself as a product; as something that has no value beyond what it can offer to others. Coupled with his accident and subsequent disability, you can understand how he sees himself as DAMAGED GOODS. And it's so painful because you can see all he ever wanted was to make people/kids happy. That's why his relationship with Ozzy is so goddamn pure and emotional and ...gah! It's so good. Ozzy doesn't want something from Fizz. He just want to BE with Fizz. And it's clear he will never take anything from Fizz that isn't given freely. Unapologetic hot take, but Helluva Boss is more honest and real than most shows about sensitive topics like mental health, abuse, and what makes a relationship toxic vs. healthy. And the real kicker is that it offers a somewhat realistic scenario about leaving a toxic cycle for one that is legitimately healthy for you. Fizz's "F.U." song is a fucking power anthem for anyone that has suffered through a toxic job or an abusive relationship...and finally gets to feel what freedom and peace feel like again. And I am fucking here for it.

Hoping the intent of your comment wasn't such a tactic, because you're wasting your time if so.
@@NUTS-4-DAYZ sorry, I'm just a little confused here. I make a comment about how a show does a good job portraying real difficult issues that people go through...and from that you make a pretty broad assumption about my personal life, and you say it in a way that sounds confrontational. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it sounded like you had an issue with what I said, and you needed to assert your dominance and soothe your fragile ego by insinuating Mommy and Daddy never loved me. Because normal people don't start trash talking a stranger's personal life based on zero context. Just saying, it's kinda a weak tactic. As for your second point, I did have a gf. She was my wife, and we were together for 10 years. She was also emotionally abusive and a manipulator. So yeah, maybe I feel a little qualified to comment on how a show does a good job of portraying an abusive relationship. If you were raised in a way that actually taught empathy, if your parents hadn't actually failed at their jobs, maybe you would understand how that feels. (See? I can make assumptions about how you're a sad loser based upon absolutely nothing too! Ain't the Internet fun?)
as someone who has had panic attacks in the past, the way fizz's anxiety and panic is portrayed is spot on. I could list a bunch of stuff but I shouldn't need to, the episode conveys it so well.
I just had this panic attack last week for the same reason as Fizz and watching it felt so close to home that I teared up the whole scenes that got me sobbing in the end of the episode
The fact that Mammon actually spent resources to get a bunch of paper bags to label "Poor Sap" and place on people's heads when they couldn't pay for entry is another level of asshole in and of itself.
Man, the Glam Sisters would LOVE that there’s Rule 34 art of them. One of the lyrics of their song is “Wanna sell my funny, slutty body to the masses.” So I’d say you’re in the clear on this one, Nux! 👍
Remember, it’s not just because of his position as a Lust demon loving someone. It’s because of his position of being THE Sin of Lust loving the most lowly class in Hell. Stolas caught so much flak because of the difference between himself and Blitzø; however, Asmodeus, as a Sin, is even HIGHER than Stolas in the hierarchy of Hell! If Stolas loving Blitzø is like a lord loving a peasant, then Asmodeus loving Fizzaroli is like a KING loving a peasant.
I rewatched that Ozzie's episode recently and noticed that the context was actually different in hindsight. It wasn't really Oz looking down on Stolas because he was in a romantic relationship with an imp, it was more like he was borderline praising Stolas for ruining his perfect life with a perfect family (at least how it looked from the outside) for a physical, lustful relationship with an imp that didn't mean anything. Oz completely misread what was going on between them and, in contrast to Moxxie and Millie's sappy love song, essentially said, "yeah, this is what lust is actually about, this relationship means nothing and you ruined your life just to feed into this sin," and that was what drove that wedge between Stolas and Blitz in that moment, because Blitz thought there was actually some truth to what he was saying.
@@suicune2001 I think since Bee might be considered the "Patron" of Hellhounds it's not as big a deal. So if Ozzie was dating a Succubus or Incubus no one may bat an eye. It may just be the fact that Fizz (and Blitz in Stolas's case) are Imps that's causing the stir.
I left this comment for the original vid but the feeling for fizz has seriously changed. In season one it was: "that guys a dick, fuck him." Now in season 2: "I WILL BRING DOWN THE WRATH OF LUCIFER, ALL OF HEAVEN AND GOD HIMSELF ON WHOEVER MAKES HIM CRY!"
My fav callback-ish moment is Ozzie respecting blitzo’s silent o (14:26) now that he’s on good terms with fizz. The switch up from last episode from pronouncing the o because blitzo and fizz were e imites at the time to now made me jump a bit.
Said the character. Created by Vivz. Don't tell me when you act or write up or create a character you are that kind of person irl? Art is an extension of the self, but sometimes as a writer you tell and portray different people's stories and lives and personalities. It's just a character bro.
I think this is probably my favourite episode. Mammon was a very fun antagonist to start this all off, the scenes with the deaf kid were wholesome as hell, Ozzie and Fizz were amazing as always, and holy crap all the songs were phenomenal this episode, especially 2 Minutes Notice. Absolutely incredible episode and I’m just so happy we’re able to get stuff with this much passion for free on UA-cam. Viv and her crew should all be so proud of this.
It is now confirmed to me that we are in fact going to be introduced to every single Sin from best to worst according to Dante in Divine Comedy. For the record that went, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride.
Edited: "2 minute notice" or "f^>ck you" is absolutely the anthom for every type of person whos toxic boss, toxic girlfriend, toxic boyfriend; EtC , abuse them.
Mammon is characterised as every single thing wrong with corporations and the brutal manipulation and psychological torture fizz is going through is handled perfectly, the fact that fizz final number is him quitting in a song shouting out his inner feelings and frustrations from years of working under mammon is great
Loved the k-pop influences in the klown bitch song, very fitting since that industry is very toxic and eerily similar to what Mammon has going on, including the constests to see who is going to become the company's next big money maker
How can a show about horny demons in hell be so bloody *wholesome*?! The character development for Fizz and Ozzy is amazing, they’re quickly catching up with, if not surpassing M&M for “relationship goals” and “Healthy relationship” And the little clip of his interaction with the deaf imp kid with the broken horns was so fucking heartwarming! Fizz truly cares for his fans! Also, seeing Fizz without his jester cap on, and seeing how extensive his scarring is… oof… :(
That was one of the greatest "Going out with a bang" in all of fiction, such a great song after all that build up. Fizz ended his career in the perfect way, showing that he's still the best but that he's done bending to Mammon.
I love how he has an Australian accent because it’s like the team is joking about how Australia has such massive spiders (because mammon is a spider)😂😂😂
Oh come on they're not THAT big speaking of which...I have to load the cannon so one of them is finally going to drop my house and just so you know Mammon is an average sized spider AT BEST
The fact that you immediately and deeply understood where Fizz was coming from and what he was feeling was so refreshing. Thanks for taking the time to put it into words.
i mean moxxie did it in ozzies strip club as he said it ruined the atmosphere but yeah to put it in blitz´s words well congratulations you fucking hypocrites
To be fair, they were in a club. They were still in the right for being pissed at moxxie and Millie. This song was completely backstage and not interrupting any public show at all. Also the hypocrite thing was more about judging stolas and blitzo than moxxie or Millie :3
@@scp-phenomenon014 but they didn't judge Stolas and Blitz though. Blitz being an imp was brought up by the bartender, not them, and they didn't comment on it at all. This Made Fizz Officially My Favorite Character - Mammon is voiced by Michael Cusack an animator, writer, voice actor who worked on series like Koala Man (which he also voices Kevin aka Koala Man & others), YOLO, Smiling Friends (he voices Pim, Alan, & others), Bushworld Adventures (Rick & Morty parody), & many more. Mammon is not only the Princess of Hell that represents Greed in the Binsfeld’s classification of Demons his name in Hebrew also means “money”, but as for this version he is based on a clown & rock star while in his monstrous form maybe a reference to Pennywise from “It” - Glitz & Glam are both voiced by Faye Mata who also voices Aqua (KonoSuba), Malty (Shield Hero), Astolfo (Fate), Dot (Pokemon Horizons) Priscilla, Frederica, baby Rem (Re:Zero), Yukako, Naoko’s daughter, & Scout (JoJo), Rin (Love Live), Aoi (Bottom-tier Character Tomoaki), Neon & Amana (HxH -2011), Tricia, Trista, & Trinnia (Pokemon Masters), Mikoto (Saiki K), Kuroe & Mei (Magia Record), Linaria (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet), Violet (The Asterisk War), Fukaziroh (SAO), Tiare (Magi), Mari (Mob Psycho 100), Sierokarte, Metera, & Orchis (Granblue Fantasy), & many more -For them singing the song “Klown Bitch” Faye Mata did it with Allison Kaplan - Arick “Burnie” Burnz is voiced by Don Darryl Rivera who also voices Wally Wackford, Cletus, & Mister Butler (Helluva Boss) & Travis (Hazbin Hotel pilot)
His monster form is probably more so a spider then pennywise, there was spider webs all over the place, probably to show how easy it is to get trapped by him and geting free once your trapped is next to impossible alone
See I thought he might be a stink bug in his true form. The way he 'poofs' with a cloud of stinky gas, plus the end of his tail/insect body reminded me of a stinkbug. Either way, cool design!
I love Ozzy's supportiveness and yet he looks out for Fizzy's well being and actually cares not just wants a spicy secret relationship! I love their dynamic and it made me cry to see this whole episode. Beautifully created.
Mammon; Christmas tree centispider that dresses like a clown with an Australian accent. Also, I noticed Fizz wraps his tail around his legs when he gets nervous/uncomfortable.
Is Fizz coming out of the striped coffin on stage a Beetlejuice the Musical reference? Because of his voice actor? If I remember right, something like that happens in the musical.
Most people say Mammon is a spider, but looking at all the other sins, I think he’s a mix of stuff. He gives me centipede energy, like a mix between a spider and a snake, both highly venomous, both sneaky, and both very Australian 😂
I personally believe that the reason that fizz knows sign language is that he learned it after the circus accident and maybe couldn't hear correctly or at all since he was directly by the explosion
As a person with a complicated relationship to their own self worth, perfectionism and people pleasing - I really felt for Fizz in this episode. How hard it is to trust those who love you when they say "you are enough" - oof, hits close to home. And the animation just keeps getting better and better ✨ as you think Spindle Horse couldn't possibly raise the bar any higher, I am blown away again 💕❤️ Even the background characters have look interesting!
You know what's funny? That Fizz's face is on everything for the last 10 yearsthough. He can print money in Lust, while Mammon has to try to reprint money in his face. He's famous he can work it out it's hell
@@Darwidxsure but he lost the fan favourite brand person people love him so much they made conspiracy theories of him and Azmodeus being in love lmao that and with Azmodeus probably refusing to sell s*x toys in greed it will probably damage his business somewhat and he is 100% the type to get mad at every dollar lost
I saw the comment about Fizz being afraid of blood since their childhood and that was the reason Blitz decided not to kill the fan, seeing his friend having panic attack
i didnt notice on my watch through but i have this time the kid that was deaf that Fizz called over also had shattered horns like Fizz does when i realised that the scene had such a deeper meaning
I think Mammon's words, "You're gonna regret revealing that" are less of a threat and more of an omen of something bad to come because of Asmodeus's status/title as the Sin of Lust, and breaking his own Sin with love? Maybe he'll be punished, or lose his power, or be replaced?
I'm pretty sure that Lucifer already knows about what he is doing the bad thing about this is the fact that now the public knows (even though they already kinda did).
Why would he be punished for that ? He's already in hell , I think Mammon would just start to spread rumors about Ozzie and Fizz , and he'll make their life a double hell
@@mirai5451 The "royalty" of hell, including the 7 deadly sins (like Asmodius, Beelzebub, and Mammon), and the Ars Goetia (like Stolas) are native to hell, so they're not being punished for anything by being there. What I'm talking about is Ozzie is one of the Sins, he's the Sin of Lust. Each of the sins is, "Probably", supposed to perform their sin onto others. Ozzy (when we first meet him) has his famous slutty club. Bee (gluttony) has her big hellhound party where she is giving out tons of food and drinks. And in this episode Mammon (Greed) is, well, being a greedy exploitative bastard. Ozzie is showing affection and actual love towards Fizzaroli, that kind of goes against his sin. Sure, they might still 'get it on', but it's not the same as Sinful Lust, caring only for someone's body and pleasures of the flesh. I'm wondering if Mammon knows this and will use that info against Ozzie, and maybe Ozzie will get punished somehow...
It just occurred to me that the very gag with Mammon and Vivzie's name appearing after his comment have a lot more weight later on in the episode. I mean the biggest competition for Fizz are literally clown women. With how he entertains the possibility of making those two his new mascots goes to show that Mammon is an even bigger hypocrite on top of everything else.
Really looking like an anime with these alternate forms for the sins. Only dissapointing thing was i didn't get to see the giant fire rooster beat the shit out of the oversized christmas tree spider.

This episode kicked ass. Seeing Fizz get expanded from his origins as "just some clown that Blitz knew" to the emotionally complex character that he is now has been great. Fuckin' love this weird-ass show
Both Smiling Friends creators being in this episode made it so much enjoyable to watch ! (Not saying that it isn’t enjoyable without them) Hearing Michael’s voice for Mammon with his beautiful Australian accent and saying “C*nt” is such a treat, and hearing Zach’s nasally voice screaming in the background is just pure comedy !
Imagine if your boss threatens to break you if you expose his relationship with the clown, only to have him say it in a super public venue like a week later.
I like how it shows the situation that every youtuber faces: obsessing over that one hater even if there are 100 more people who love you for each one.
I love this direction as far as the story goes because it's such a smart way to expand on hell through the other mediums and characters that you've already introduced
@@tiredbird471 That's a good point. It really does provide a juxtaposition. I think it helps the universe a lot, in the way of there actually being some weight to Charlie's dream.
@icantthinkofanamegw See, that's fair, but the show has also shown there are a LOT of Demon's that have that Ultra Cruelty just built in. Stella Goetia, for example
@icantthinkofanamegw I was saying more that there IS the ability for wholesomeness in Hell, not really that the Demons, over the Sinners, could go to Heaven
This is fascinating though. I’ve seen a few reactions to this vid, and honestly, Nux is the only one kind of analyzing Fizz from an internal perspective. Most people either take the “honey, no, you’re already good enough!” or the “Yea, this is a classic case of toxic/abusive relationship stuff, and here’s why.” I mean, Nux does some of the second, but he’s the only one who can actually pick up on Fizz’s fear of losing Ozzie before that moment is addressed in the show, and explain the reasoning behind the fear on a personal level rather than an observational level. Also, I think there’s more cringe from Nux about the crazy obsessed fan stuff than from anyone else I’ve watched, and addressing the comments he’s seen of “Here’s what you need to do to be great!” This is the deepest connection to Fizz I’ve seen for this episode.
The writing on this show is unbelievably good. All the jokes and stuff aside, moments like Asmodeus and Fizz are so relatable. I'm pretty sure every single one of us has felt exactly like Fizz at some point. Convinced ourselves that we only have value because of what we can offer to others. Convinced that without x or y people will leave us. We judge ourselves far more harshly than anyone else. Fizz really hits home so hard in this episode. He worked his ass off and he earned everything single thing he has. Mammon just exploits it and then gaslights Fizz into thinking it's all because of Mammon.
Can we just appreciate that a relationship in HELL between an Imp and the sin of lust itself is 1000% more wholesome and healthy than most irl? I mean, when you think of Asmodeos you imagine a sleazy guy who just wants to get laid and doesnt care avout anything else. But ozzie is so much more than sex, dude values consent above all else, he sees sex as a form of expression and if you need to force it bc you cant get it, you are a massive loser. That shit is so good to see
Nux, not sure if you noticed it, but the sigil BEHIND Fizzarolli flip flops during the Fuck You song, it starts off with the sigil of Mammon, round about the third fuck you it switches to the sigil of Asmodeus, and switches back to the sigil of Mammon by the time Fizzarolli does the section in the audience. Do what you will with that information. I left a comment with exact timestamps on the actual episode if you want to confirm.
The way they portrayed fizz panic attack is just making me realize that I'm indeed starting to have pani attacks because of math. Yes it seems stupid to have panic attacks over math but whatever, im just glad I won't have to take it again and I'm also happy that fizz freed himself from mammon, and the interaction between ozzie and fizz continue to be so sweet and absolutely heartwarming
I like the sisters. The design is just amazing. I liked when the first showed up and holy hell the twin was genius, and they might not have even been aiming for it but damn did they hit a bulleye somehow with those two lol. but then these guys seem to just hit the nail on the head of charcter design, every time.
It is extremely strange that Helluva Boss manages to be far more wholesome and genuine than just about any other show out there. Fizz and Asmodeus before his final performance and their duet is the most relatable thing.
I think Mammon is designed in present day to resemble a wooly caterpillar, not a spider. The netting i think is cocoon webbing similar to a silk worm. And his "big demon form" is like a moth. Caterpillars comsume and eat endlessly for their own growth. So thats wat i think it is cause he never loses that fuzzy design.
I love hearing various reactors give their dissections of the commentary on fame (hearing Nuxanor's input reminded me of what Calaxyn had to say about V-tubers specifically), and I love seeing people pick up on subtle details and jokes, like the "written by Vivian Medrano" joke, or Blitz saying "cheese and hot sauce" only to later be shown eating that exact thing, but three details this episode that I haven't seen any reactor notice is that, 1. during the twin's song, on the twins flashed the audience, and 2. Blitzo's line about the cheese and hot sauce is possibly a call back to him eating cheese and hot sause back during the episode that introduced Striker, and 3. the tiny imp that Mammon picked up near the start of the episode looks like and imp version of Harry Potter. Nuxanor is usually really good at noticing small details, so I'm slightly surprised he didn't catch those.
I like to think that for the rest of the show blitz ends up being fizz’s bodyguard for protection and the 3 just end up becoming good friends and they all help each other grow
One of the best details I noticed in this episode Not only did Mammon not understand the song was about him until near the end, even that wasn't enough to provoke him, just annoy him. He didn't completely lose his shit until Fizz quit. His greed is so strong he'll even take an L if he can still make money off it.
14:12 I loved seeing this moment in the episode, because after the last episode I imagined that at some point Ozzie would have asked Fizz about how he got home, or Fizz would have just told him about everything that happened with blitzø
They got some great voice talent for this episode, Michael Cusack who voiced Phim in Smiling Friends, and the voices in Bushland Adventures (The Aussie Rick and Morty) and Faye Mata who is Aqua’s Eng VA from KonoSuba
Anyone notice that whenever a sin is shown to transform they don't hurt anyone? They clearly could but don't. Even weirder is that it doesn't look like the people they try to intimidate believe they're in any danger. Could there be something that prevents them from going all out on the denizens of hell?

Hoping the intent of your comment wasn't such a tactic, because you're wasting your time if so.
@@joshuadunn2 together doesn't mean married, but while were talking about relationships, you need a gf
I was just thinking on that! Great analysis
(See?
It should be even worse for Beelzabub since she's GF to a HOUND which is basically the slave class. But no one seems to care about that.

I'm pretty sure that Lucifer already knows about what he is doing the bad thing about this is the fact that now the public knows (even though they already kinda did).

Ozzie is showing affection and actual love towards Fizzaroli, that kind of goes against his sin. Sure, they might still 'get it on', but it's not the same as Sinful Lust, caring only for someone's body and pleasures of the flesh.

"He sniped him from a distance!"
-Nuxanor 2023
One of the best details I noticed in this episode
Not only did Mammon not understand the song was about him until near the end, even that wasn't enough to provoke him, just annoy him. He didn't completely lose his shit until Fizz quit. His greed is so strong he'll even take an L if he can still make money off it.
"He has no actual power here."
Next second Mammoth transforms into one of the 7 deadly sins.😂
Everyone needs someone as unfiltered as Blitz and Osmodious in there life
14:12 I loved seeing this moment in the episode, because after the last episode I imagined that at some point Ozzie would have asked Fizz about how he got home, or Fizz would have just told him about everything that happened with blitzø
"If you don't have any haters, You're not doing it right."
4:40 when you really look at their horns in that entire scene, fizz was right in that his horns WERE bigger than blitz's
at 28:24 you can hear the click of blitz turning on the gun safety so he doesnt miss fire and hit fizz
