Got the same bike 3 weeks ago, so probably about the time you were doing this review. The handlebars were also reversed on mine in the box, I'm guessing it has to do with how they have to pack it to fit it in the compact box. While I was researching it I did see a couple reviews where it was put together wrong--backwards forks and one guy had the stem turned around in towards the seat. Web reviews--gotta love 'em. Nice job on yours.

Haha, you're in Wickenburg, AZ by the golf course. Hard not to notice the town whilst your riding around. I've done lots of riding out there. Makes me wonder why you're not on a dirt bike instead of a peddler since the riding is top shelf there. You should start heading North to the plateau soon, like I do, if you wanna ride year round and beat the super heat (120+) coming soon. Good luck!
I bought one and what I really like is you can remove the battery and still ride it like normal with weight savings. Some of these ebikes have internal batteries that can't be removed.
Thanks for the review you may have sold me on the core 5 vs Aventon. I'm almost 60 yrs old and my mtn bike was killing me on the hills to work and I quit riding. Looking for an economical ebike to help with those. When I was 19 I got a 10 speed frame and basically built a track bike - 1 speed, fixed gear, no brakes - and rode it all over Torrance and Redondo Beach, CA. Very light and lots of fun.
If you give a good review do they let you keep the bike ?.. i'm gonna be out on the road soon....curious....do you lock up the bikes and diesel in the camper before you leave your camp ? I have an old cat....i just wonder how she would do if i left her in a camper to go riding..
Yeah I’ve never heard of a company wanting a return after review but I’m sure some do. I try not to leave him often but when I do he’s chilling in the A/C with the generator running.
Pretty cool I bought a Mongoose Ledge 29" from Walmart with full suspension all blacked out was like $500 in the summertime.... may buy a hub kit for it eventually and I could have pretty fat full suspension mountain bike with Nobbies for around a thousand

a bike you cant remove the battery on sounds cancer its literally a really heavy bike after the battery dies in 2 years then
