There is a person with two stripes(Corpral)I wonder how he gets to that rank when he has just trained or maybe he just has leadership and they think he would be good as corpral

In the RN, they use chevrons to signify years of service so in his case two. He'll be wearing the same uniform because he is Leading Hand rank.

Matt Kidd slightly in correct. Each chevron represents 4 years service.

He's not a Leading Hand. If he was he'd have a "fouled anchor" above his badges ( badges, not chevrons ). I'm guessing that, as he doesn't appear to have a branch badge either, he's a re-entrant; that is, he was in the RN for 8+ years, then left, found out that was a bad idea, then re-entered the service. Although having to go through Raleigh again would be unfortunate...

Michael Bangs only into an officer which will have the anchors, anyway, alll together, the chevrons do represent ever 4 years of service

Auld Lang Syne because, while they will always be shippers from Raleigh, they may never see each other again as they disperse to the fleet, FAA, submarine service etc.

tradition, recognisable, respected, proud, service, identifiable, oh wait, all words that you wouldn't understand.
the iPhone brigade march out as proudly as anyone else who has done so for many, many, many years.
guess you never managed to pass a test.

Since officers were issued in 1748. The predominant colours of Royal Navy uniforms are navy blue and white. Since reforms in 1997 male and female ratings have worn the same ceremonial uniform Just Thought move up with the Times No Disrespect Gunner so why the insults ? manners maketh Man Sailor ! Guess You Failed respect and Think before you shoot

you do know that the passing out parades take place even now with iPhone brigade proud to wear that uniform and what it stands for?
that the royal navy does move with the times and adapts to them, that females have served at sea since 1990?
the army didn't catch up until 2018, that is some time afterwards.
the predominant colours navy blue and white. you might want to actually check the uniforms out and see the colours (unless you are colour blind)
the uniform has changed often, the uniform here is called No1's the ceremonial uniform, the other uniforms under go a regular update/change cycle. one such change being in 2015. much of the uniform is changed because there is an identified need to change it, materials, fire retardant, safety, adaptations.
perhaps you seem to think that the iPhone brigade would need a new pocket to put that iPhone in. they are in the military not civilian roles.
the type of person who wants to join the military, is not motivated by what a uniform looks like, but more by what it represents.
manners, I've plenty of them, but pointing out your inadequacies/insecurities isn't bad manners.
before I shoot. nope marksman, careful shot actually.
