Guys and gals with show cars have a different outlook on what they want. Its more about what the actaul client wants and pays for than what the people in the comments think.

Why arc audio amps? They're OK but this build isn't the daily low entry level spl build by any means. I'm not trying to stir shit. I'm sincerely asking. I see good quality in subs, fabrication, and install. But I see amps that are lower quality please respond so I can understand better. Side note I am very familiar with arc along with focal, Phoenix gold, and several others. Was a kicker, Memphis, ds18, and Sony dealer as well
This whole build is entry level equipment from reputable brands, just a nice clean install. The subs are underpowered by half of their rms, though. So I'm not sure why they chose to do that. A better match for power would have been 8 of the Arc A-series 10 shallow subs, or 4 Arc SW 12 subs. The cost would have been the same and everything would see it's full potential, and SQ would be better.
@@jp1087 in the beginning of the video he made it known and pushed for us to expect a kicker build for starters. The L7 line across the board has so much potential whether pushing 50% to 100%rms. Theyre an extremely versatile SQL woofer so why sacrifice quality and efficiency with an amp below the potential these woofers are best at. The amps they used are a common selling Amp but couldn't even compete with my RX line Phoenix golds let alone the SX line which would be comparable to the kicker kxa line. I'm sure im overthinking this but I've been doing installs for years and in my opinion they fell short on the choice of Amp. Why not use a KXA model, simplify the build doing 4 subs wired series parallel into a distribution block each acting as a dual voice coil sub. 8 subs ending as a single dvc wired to 2 amps strapped for higher efficiency and stability. It eases the tuning, heat, and guarantees polarity sync. Thank you for responding and giving input.

I was just so excited to see an actual quality brand instead of the same D4S and Taramps crap that everyone uses. But then, why Kicker subs instead of the Arc Audio shallow subs? Or even JL's TW line or the Fosgate Power series shallow subs?

Nice build, but i feel like 3 or 4 ported in the same size enclosure would get louder for half the price.

If you think arc amps are low quality you need to investigate alittle further they are designed by Robert zeff look it up…. You’re welcome ❤
@@jp1087there are 4 1100.1 that make @1200 watts amps going to 8 L7t that’s right around 600 watts per. Plenty for this build.
