    Hey scott, awesome breakdown, really helpful, curious would this setup work at high speeds? I've struggled with the gimbal with high speeds mounted on top of a car - mainly maintaining control of the motors as they would try to compensate for the motion at steeper turns and the gimbal would try to override my commands, so say the car was turning fast left, the gimbal would not follow, rather try to keep the camera straight, hence pull to the opposite, I've this issue trying to use the app and ps controller, so curious if this would solve my issue at higher speeds 60+ mph. Thanks a lot for any piece of information ! :)

    RC is great for gimbals and this is the best video to explain everything when there is little documentation anywhere. @scott bell, even with sbus selected, are you still able to drive servos on the additional pins? Can you control the zoom with this?

    • @ScottBell
      @ScottBell  3 роки тому +1

      Hey, thanks for watching. I have been unable to get the Ronin focus wheel to respond to the remote control, which I think is the only control you could program to control zoom on a camera that has electronic zoom capabilities. You'd need to get a wireless follow focus system to adjust the zoom during a shot.

    Suggestion: Wire colors should be black (GND), red (+5v), and white (Signal). You can get F-F servo extender wires and replace the shell on on end with a 4-pin shell to match the input on the Ronin; this will keep your cabling neater.
