Puckett Cigar Box Guitar Then I’ll agree to say it looks as flawless as any I’ve ever seen. If I could afford it I’d buy several from you just to have a choice of tunings. Unfortunately I’ll just have to make do with the rough stuff I churn out for my own needs (no builder here) until I win the lottery haha.

Dude! You're a genius! I never put that chromatic shape together in my head as I IV V. That's just awesome. And there's something fun about all the tension hanging out on the 7th, but my mind cries out for resolution. So fun! Also, dig the build, man. Flipping the box lid is such an easy thing to do (which I still haven't done) and pays off which such good results.

I would give anything to have the musical knowledge that you have, I didn't pay attention enough in school thinking I was never going to need that particular "thing" and music class was no exception and now I dread it, catching up is not going to be easy. I'm making a CBG and plowing forward, I'm pretty sure I have the guitar making down no problem, but any advice on materials as far as (simple) everything "music" would be much appreciated. Thanks, yours truly, dumb beginner music guy.

It only takes10 seconds to tune down and you can use the same strings... plus, tuning down saves the life of your instrument, makes it easier to sing (in my opinion that is) and the looser tension makes it easier on my fingers... plus the TONE!!! 😎

You adjust Intonation by slanting floating bridge... as opposed to adjusting each individually with an Allen wrench
