I've learnt (Mainly cause of peer pressure) to keep in myself. Tho if anyone talks to mean I literally act like a madman. Getting angry super fast, or wanting to go home and cry are some symptoms. Ik it's hard but if I overcame it you can too :). Tho I agree is kinda bs

@@frangkiskosmelanitis6904 I'm not nearly as bothered by panic attacks as I used to be, they are more just an irritation these days though still very nasty things to experience. I think the real harm they can do is to ruin peoples ability to enjoy life in between the attacks, some people if they are not having a panic attack they are in dread of having one which is the worst state to be in, I don't worry about having them anymore. Good to hear that you managed to beat them.

Holy shit I’ve been looking for others that have the same thing. I literally can’t even eat cause I’m scared to get sick. When dealing with really big things, (like rn it’s going back to college) I get bad panic attacks and get instantly nauseated. I usually throw up and get a fever due to it. How do you deal with the nausea, I’ve been getting it since October 2021 and I don’t know how to deal with it.

Just had my first attack last night, I thought the "heart skip" was just normal ( bc it happens sometimes when I get up too fast) but then the tip of my tounge went numb and I got really dizzy.. I went to go lay down but then started to worry... then my heart started to race, and it wouldn't stop.. so me, my gf and son went to the ER.. I had a whole panic attack for almost an hour.. in and out of almost having another one with every passing second.... I try to keep myself calm and to do calming things.. but its all in my head... I always have my subconscious making me worry and scared.. I tell myself everything is fine but then at the same time I'm freaking out... I fell asleep last night even after the ER, in and out of panic... I think the reason why is because of the fear it'll be like this forever... The feeling of hopelessness... the thought of "should I end it here" "if I'm going to have this happen to me constantly, then I should just end it now." "When can I have my life back" " Why me?" " what have I done to deserve this?" Etc. Believe me when I say that I've had what was thought to be a "mild" panic attack... but last night.... I don't ever want to experience that again..

A message to those that come here due to panic attacks or anxiety.
I used to have panic attacks every day. I couldn’t leave the house.
They ended for me when i learned a teaching from from Mingyur Rinpoche the Buddhist Monk. The secret is to not run. Dont try to make it go away. Trying to escape or avoid panic is the very thing that keeps it alive. Meditation and relaxation videos like these are great BUT, if you are using it in order to escape panic or anxiety then it will simply keep it alive in the long term. The way out is to truly accept how you feel in the moment, allow your thoughts, allow the sensations and recognise that it is uncomfortable but not dangerous. At first your mind will tell you you can’t, but it is a lie, then you will try to accept only to attempt to make them go away, which also does not work as it isnt really acceptance. Then finally all you have left is to truly accept it. And If you can learn to truly accept then you will be free. The first stage is you will no longer be afraid of it. Then the symptoms will fade until they disappear completely. It works, and it works for everyone I promise! Sincerely hope you conquer them too.

I have a panic disorder that I developed a few years ago after finding out about a heart murmur. This weekend will be the first time I spend a few days completely alone, and I'm freaking out about it already. I just know multiple panic attacks are waiting around the corner for me. I can always call my girlfriend and she's a great help even if she lives in a different country. But because of the 7 hour time difference, and the fact that she works, she's not always there when I need her the most through no fault of her own. I'm pretty terrified and don't have anyone around to turn to. My friends wouldn't know what to do even if they knew about my disorder.

I have the ones where you feel like you're going crazy. They started a few years ago absolutely randomly, but back then I could feel them come on because I'd get this feeling like someone just poured water over my head and I could physically feel it run down my body. Sometimes they're harsher than other times, like auditory hallucinations and a general feeling of unwellness in my body and my mind. I've become a pretty terrible alcoholic because I refuse to take medication for anything and alcohol seems to keep the attacks away and even minimalize how bad they are. It sucks to be 30 years old and the last 4 years of your life have been hell, all because of panic attacks. I wish I could go back to 25 when the worst of my issues was depression. I never signed up to trade depression for anxiety. But it's not the end of the world, even for me. So if you're out there and you're reading this, you're going to be just fine. Breathe, preoccupy yourself and stick to the proper methods of coping with your illness. I love you.

I’ve always had anxiety, since I was little. Now that I’m 27 I had my very first full panic attack. It started off as mild ones (not knowing they were panic attacks) for a few days in a row. I had something traumatic in my life happen. I was depressed and constantly thinking of that trauma. That’s where I messed up. One day my mid panic attack turned into a full blast panic attack right before bed. I felt like I was dying. My heart was out of beat and I was very well aware it wasn’t normal. So that made me panic even more making it worse! Then I started to feel like everything was unrealistic? Like in a dream or something, but like I wasn’t intact with reality. My jaw locked up and tongue, to the point i couldn’t swallow even if I wanted too. Felt like passing out a few times, breathing was difficult because my trachea was closing up involuntary. That did it for me, if my body wasn’t breathing voluntarily like it naturally should, and my heart is out of beat, then I’m dying right? The thought that idk what’s going on and feeling like I’m dying made it all worse. Intensifying all these physical symptoms 10x worse. Since it happened right before bed, now that’s a new trauma I had to overcome too since my first panic attack was very traumatic for me it was right before dozing off into sleep. I felt like if I gave into my sleep then I would die and never wake up. I thought that if I didn’t fight off sleep my body was going to shut off for good, the thought of dying scared me.. Now I have mid panic attacks daily. They last a good 2hrs. It’s true when they say you HAVE to find out the root of these. What is the deeper meaning of why you’re mentally putting your self in this mental phase for it to get to this point. Doesn’t matter how small or big it might seem, clearly to you it’s big enough to affect this badly. Talk it out to someone! Work on your mental health, don’t just think happy thoughts. Think of things that will physically put you in a happy mental place! If being told you’re not good enough due to childhood trauma is what triggers you… close you’re eyes and keep telling yourself you are and think of reasons why you are. But don’t just think, believe it too otherwise you won’t over come these attacks. Once they get bad, you have no choice but to ride it out, and it’s BAD. I highly recommend watching “The Secret” on Amazon Prime. It helped me out a lot! Mental affirmations and happy thoughts with positive thinking, to the point you believe in it will keep you clear of these attacks. I finally have mastered to keeping positive and feeling positive to the point I finally had my first sleep where I wasn’t having to fight sleep from fear because I was having a mid attack. My positive thinking and feeling let me block out these attacks. I woke up so happy from having a good night sleep that I haven’t had in a while due to these.

Something I use. One thing I tell my own subscribers is that there are four planes that interact with each other. The physical, emotional, career and spiritual. The spiritual is your place in the universe. Or your sudden disconnect of this feeling. When an anxiety/panic or depressive attack happens you can minimize the symptoms by hitting these planes. 1) engage in 30-45 minutes of cardio exercise even if it is a speed walk. 2) Then engage in the emotional aspect--yoga/tai chi etc. 3) Then do something positive for advancement (what do I need to do to advance wherever I am--career, new vlog etc. The spiritual plane will settle back into equilibrium. If you execute this plan instead of sitting there hour after hour waiting for it to go away you will severely reduce symptoms or even send the attack back to the closed. Hope this helps someone. ---Charles

Had my first major panic attack Friday. I just got over a really bad cold that exasperated issues I never had before like heartburn etc (tested negative for covid-19 after having major cold symptoms) & then Friday I was driving home happy it was a 3 day weekend and my arms started throbbing and tingling pins and needles and my neck was vibrating swelling. My heart rate was staying around 130-150 according to my fitband device. It didn't stop after I got home so we called paramedics who arrived and suggested I get treated if nothing like that ever happened before. I was taken to ER and labs were ran. They determine I have SVT which I have to see a cardiologist for.
Fast forward to today and I had the same thing happen again driving home! I kept doing the breathing and telling myself to stay calm but my whole face was vibrating and my eyes were fluttering and my mouth area felt swollen almost. I accidentally went past my exit and almost cried at cars in front of me letting people through without right of way while I was rushing to get home. Came home, immediately grabbed my CBD tincture and put it under my tongue and laid prone focusing on breathing and feeling the carpet. After a few minutes I made a big bowl of ice water and kept dunking my hands / elbows in it and put some cool cloths on my neck / ears. I think a combo of all that helped stop it.
I need to find a way to treat this =/ I have never felt my body be out of control like this.

I have SVT too and I haven’t had a panic attack in months until today. I notice when I talk about my toxic family that is when my panic attack starts and my heart goes up. I find putting something cold on my chest or arm pit stops it. Or a cold shower. Taking deep breath’s never work for me. I also read You Can Heal Your Life and that gets me over it.

@@stephadam3702 my heart both times when I went to the hospital was at 210 bpm. It has not happened since December of 2019 Mines only happen from lack of sleep and stress and fear major anxiety. The Dr said I was born with it but my first episode was at age 38 2019 and the second one was at age 39 in 2019. I believe the lack of sleep won’t let your mind be free and clear enough from all distractions. If you get lack of sleep anxiety kicks in then fear of the unknown. Your heart will skip then BAM here comes SVT. Your brain can really stop SVT by telling yourself your okay. Every day tell yourself your CURE, repeat it several times and believe it, feel it! The healing process is AMAZING!! Also letting go of anger and resentment will cure SVT. The heart is love and to cure the heart you must fully love yourself and forgive others but don’t let them continue to break you down. After I lost my sister to covid last year I deactivated my Facebook and tried to focus on healing myself because it was depressing and I didn’t want to have another SVT episode. Really wish this worked for me. Mine are so bad I have to drive to the emergency room at the VA. Last time I had to stop at a 7-11 and go inside just to be around someone. I told the cashier lady I was having a massive panic attack and needed to talk to her for a couple mins. She agreed and then I left as soon as I could. I can't even watch my favorite shows like House anymore because as soon as I see someone who has a heart issue or something bad wrong with them my body reacts like it's affecting me too and I have a huge panic attack. It's literally crippling and becoming so bad I don't want to live with it anymore. The VA won't do ANYTHING for me so I'm literally out in the cold. Thank God I went to Iraq and got for the army right?...

Hey I used to have panic attacks regularly ! 3/4 a week and I used to be thinking about them all the time , I came across one random video that assured me I would never have one again if I did this trick and if for some reason I did I had to do the trick again and that would be it gone for life …. I was sceptical ! So apperntly because every time you have a panic attack you panic haha like you wash your face with cold water you run out for fresh air you call someone to you phone the docs you run and tell your loved one, well all these things teach your body that when your about to have a panic attack something bad is happening your going to die so you go into the fight or flight which I’m sure you have heard and the trigger for these could be a random jolt in your stomach Vegas nerve or even just by any small trigger like a tingle or a pain or nothing at all it’s just happens for no reason , and way so here is the trick !!!! I want you to next time you feel a panc attack coming on or as soon as it starts no matter where you are sit down close your eyes and imaging your sitting in a chair in the sea with Wellington boots on filled with concrete so you can’t move , I want you to imagine that each wave of the water comes completely over your head is a wave of panic so the panic attack is the waves in the sea and you can feel them wave over. You and you can’t move don’t talk don’t speak sit there and suffer almost I know that sounds harsh and it will probably be the worst 5-20minutes of your life Literally it was for me. ,(or if they last longer sit for as long as they last doing this method they should be shorter with this method ) by doing this you instantly rewrite your brain into realising that you don’t need to have the same response when things happen in your body and that you are not dying you are safe , I promise you that this works and not only that I promise you anxiety does not last forever I succeed with it for two years at worst couldn’t leave the house and I’m 31 and everything going for me in life but that made no difference it held me back ! Soon as I got rid of the pannic attacks I then focused on my anxiety believe it ot not I done Cbt therapy hypnotherapy just two sessions cost me £80 for each one I’m not sure if it was hypnotherapy that works but it was like mindfulness meditation basically and that does work and I also done cbt therapy from my doctor was a online thing , I’m now anxiety and panic attack free . Wish you and any one who reads this the best ! It does get better and will get better the old you will be back in no time , “And in time this too shall pass”.

Since two months I am having panic attacks now. First I did what everyone one says As soon as I have a panic attack I have to focus on anything so I forget the attack or listening to music that helped me but it is not a long term solution.
Than I bought a book in german where the doctor explaines what happens in our body and mind when we have the attack and sometimes even it is our fault because we scares ourselves about thinking all the time when I am going to have to again. Than she write the solution of even ending them and so far I am pretty sure it will work because now i have since two days no attack and can sleep calmly.
The SOLUTION is breath calm and don’t move tell your self you having the attack and nothing will happen it will go and let the attack happen. I know it is hard but only this way you feel after that so much better. It will happen nothing the attack will go after one minute and you good back again. I do this twice before I go to sleep to show my body it is nothing.

The thing is you are not afraid but you are afraid of having panic attacks again. And that will control you if you do not try to fight that “Bad thoughts” early. So to all who suffer right now, put a stop to it early. Do not be afraid to die! We all die! Focus on the present! Stop worrying about past panic attacks and other shit. And last, if you have one, do the one in the vid. The shorter it lasts, you will feel better. Do not let it last longer or even trigger.

PotatO Reduce negative thoughts. Its quite simple but a strong desire is needed. . Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts and anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Deep inhalation is not needed. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Do the above practice daily to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

My first one rolled over me at the age of 8. I had no idea what happened. I wish I could write that it was the only one and I lived happily ever after. Like the first domino, it set off a childhood and teenage years of more and more panic attacks. A few months before I turned 19, I couldn't take it anymore and crashed. For about one year, I didn't meet anyone except for my parents. On the very last moment help came and I managed to get out and lead a fulfilling life with a family and work for big companies. I wrote a book, royalties donated, about this journey to help others in a similar situation. The book is called "The boy with the cheap running shoes" and is available with the biggest online retailer.

If you haven't already find grounding techniques. It's the only thing that's helped me with my anxiety and panic attacks that and my family that's pretty much been there for me. I do all the things in this video, I usually have a bowl filled with ice cold water to dunk my face into if I feel panic trying to pop up it's face in, I carry a bottle of frozen water if I go outside, eucalyptus oil has helped to settle my anxious feelings and relax me, I have a cabinet filled with boxes of chamomile tea, I put vix on my chest because the smell helps ease my anxiety sometimes, I used to bite down on limes because the bitter taste would help me snap out of my panic sometimes. These have all worked for me. I don't know if they will help you but give them a try until you find what helps. I honestly hope you feel better because I know how much it sucks to feel this way.

I have been having a large amount of anxiety attacks the past month or so. My neighbor has been harassing me and I can't get help. Ive been looking everywhere for help but nobody wants to listen. I live in a isolated area and it seems nobody wants to help unless things are um super bad.

Had my first panic attack yesterday while the doctor was repairing a torn retina. If I moved my eye at the wrong moment, I would be permanently blind. So I had real fear for a real and immediate reason and it HURT!! The panic lasted much longer than the pain, but I need something to help me not panic at the next visit.

If you're having a panic attack right now... Go outside and start sprinting!! RUN as fast and as long as you can!!! It gives your body a physical thing to do to get your nervous energy out. Fight or flight WANTS you to run!!! That's what it's for. Your body giving you the energy to get away from a threat. If you run, then your body is like... ok we just ran really hard, so we must have escaped the thing we were afraid of, and the panic subsides. I PROMISE it helps it go down SO much faster than it would otherwise, because that feeling is meant to motivate us to take PHYSICAL ACTION. you will feel so much better. Plus endorphins help your brain feel better... So Go do it. Dont even look to see If anyone is watching, no one is. Run!!

I like to take a walk when I have a panic attack, it helps me to relax. I heard that this is common in people having panic attacks, walking distracts you and make the blood in your legs flow differently or something. So I guess running might help, I don't know, I haven't tried it..

    My Panic Attack Process
    - Depersonalization
    - Disassociation
    - Dizziness
    - Heart racing
    - Feeling hot and cold
    - Tingling in my legs
    - Legs trembling
    - Overwhelming feeling of doom like i'm about to die or i'm dying or something is seriously wrong with me
    - My thoughts are that "i'm actually having a heart attack this time!", "I'm dying for sure this time!!!!!" or "I'm dying, i'm going to drop dead soon!!!"
I HATE PANIC ATTACKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!! I started having mines in march of 2021 and havent had one for two months, thank you jesus but i've been experiencing many anxiety episodes. Hate this sht.

I understand how this would seem really good and reasonable for someone who isn't having a panic attack, but whenever I am having one, I cant think of these steps. I feel trapped and hopeless. It's hard to explain, but at that point things like these are the last that come to mind.

If you are able to find someone you trust and love who loves you to help talk you down. Having someone there to reassure you might get you out of an attack quicker. Good luck to you ❤

I don't care so much about the panic but the only thing is I keep thinking it's a heart attack or stroke. If I could come to terms with the fact that it's not either of those, then I am fine with it.
I can't breathe, I get vertigo intensely, knot in my chest, pains, shooting pains, almost fainting, etc.
I love coffee but it's terrible for them more than 2 cups a day.

I just got out of the emergency room this evening after spending 4 hours there.
I suffered a debilitating panic attack 3 days ago and it just wouldn't stop. I get them like this periodically and no technique will relieve them.
    It's horrible.
They eventually gave me some medication to alleviate the anxiety. And that seemed to work somewhat.
When medical bill is going to be thousands of dollars because of this disorder.

The only thing that would stop my panic attacks was a doctor telling me im am perfectly fine and healthy and there's nothing wrong with me but they said if I keep going to the er everytime I get a panic attack which is often...ima be put in a psychiatric hospital so i didn't know what to do, music has helped a bit but I still get paranoid ,I was thinking of learning to take my own vitals so I can prove to myself that I'm fine and not dying.
