My older brother got me into their shows when I was just a teenager and I was blown away. It is the reason I started playing drums. I remember going back to the dressing room and seeing Steve spraying his hair with beer. I have an autographed album and drum sticks that mean so much to me. Dennis was a super cool guy with a stage presence like nobody else.

Dennis T. Menass has passed away:
FROM WFMJ TV IN YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO
Rock music fans around the Valley and across northeast Ohio are remembering the career of singer Dennis Sesonsky, who passed away on Monday July 21, 2014.
Using the stage name Dennis T. Menass, Sesonsky was the front man for the popular local band called "Left End".
The original Left End band gained a huge following starting in the 1960's and appeared at clubs and concerts through out the region.
"He's had so many fans out there from Akron, Cleveland. They were big, they were really big around here. He was a good man, great singer," said Jon Giancola, his stepson.
One of Left End's albums even made it into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Dennis Sesonsky was 63 years old.

Whenever I hear this song I'm 15 again and thrilled about going to hear them play. So sorry to hear about Dennis; it doesn't seem possible that so much time has passed and he could be gone.

They use to play at the Wedgewood Bowling Alley's "Orange room" , We would kick it with them when they were setting up , i was about 13 at the time and smoked them out when ever i seen them. There was a side door to get up to the projector room of the theater which also went to the basement and a back door to the Orange room.

I'm from Akron, Ohio. Back in the 70's We ( my friends) used to love to follow "Left End" used to see them play a place south of Akron, Ohio called 'Aldawood Park" What great times we all had, and watching the band perform, and he crazy antics of Dennis...I remember he would be climbing the rafters and singing...Great performer and great shows. We also used to watch them play in Kent, Ohio as well. Always rocked the house. I sorry to heat he lost his battle to cancer. RIP Dennis, Rock them out in Heaven :)

OMG ... Can't believe that i just stumbled across this video of " Bad Talking Lady " by the band Left End and what a well spoken tribute by Music Mike about them before the video played , Good Job Sir ! 😉 This is incredibly Cool becuz i always wondered what happened to this band ... They were So Awesome to see and hear in person for a 19 year old kid like me who was just out of W.T.H. school in the mid 1970's from the Westside of Cleveland , Ohio ... Anytime that they played a gig in or around the Cleveland area , i was there to catch the show becuz what a Wild A** show they would put on each time especially when it came to Mr. Dennis T. Meanass becuz he would always keep the audience wondering about what Crazy Outfit would he come out on stage wearing each time they opened up any show at any gig anywhere ... 🤔 When i saw them play at the Phantasy Night Club on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood , Ohio on November 5th ( i forget what year ) he came out in a wedding dress and the place Went Nuts ... 😲 In fact i Still have a poster promoting that Left End was coming to the Phantasy Night Club on that date still hanging on the wall of my bedroom that i took with me home after the show was over with Dennis wearing that very same wedding dress the night of that show on the poster and also when i knew that they were playing that night at the Phantasy , i brought my copy of the Spoiled Rotten album with me and the entire band was Gracious Enough to autograph the cover for me when the show was over before i left the club to go home and of which i Still have in my record collection to this very day ... One more thing before i go and that is i'm So Sorry to know that Dennis passed away in 2014 from Cancer and my condolences to the family on their loss ... R. I. P. Mr. Meanass at such an early age to go for sure ! 😢 🙏

    Yep, Philthe Stalker is correct.
Back in the '70s my buddy Ray and I went to the old Cleveland Agora, he told me of this band I got to hear. We were going thru the entrance and "Walk This Way" was rocking from the stage. My first thought was, man Aerosmith sounds better live than on 'MMS. Lo and behold I catch the band name as Left End and they're from Y'town. WOW. Great band with great original material as well. Good memories.

I've got to smile when you say Spoiled Rotten was one of the top LPs of the 70s. I can still remember Circus Magazine's review of it "...this is punk rock minus the nk". Oh well, I bought it anyway. I thought Takin' Time was a pretty good song.

I remember the places but what happened there and then is a little fuzzy. Dazed and confused days :o) Good Stuff ! !!!
